The same day as DP3 43-FB (19-21). Deadpool is picked up by Corsair of the Starjammers before his air runs out, but refuses to

contemporaneous to this story.
Saturday, July 14
AVENGERS ANNUAL 2000
One day. According to the MCP, this story occurs between CM5 7 and 8. It is long enough after TB '00 for Patsy to write and
publish a book about her life. Given the placement of TB '00 between TB 37 and 38, the time frame established between TB 37
and 38, and the placement of HC 1-3 after this annual and before A3 31, that leaves only several days for that book to hit the
shelves after Patsy's return from the dead. Perhaps Patsy had a manuscript ready with a publisher lined up before her death and
only had to add a new final chapter. Even so, this would be a testimony for the efficiency of the publishing business in the MU!
Iron Man is in his pre-sentient armor here, so this story must occur before IM3 26-FB.
Sunday, July 15
X-FORCE #108 - FB (7-9)

UNCANNY X-MEN #383
It must be the same night as X 103. It is "two days" after UX 383-FB. Ransom Sole offers the captured X-Men to the Neo, but
with the help of Simyon Kurasov, Storm frees the X-Men and they arrest Tullamore Voge. According to the MCP, this story
occurs before XU 28. Full moon.
UNCANNY X-MEN #384
The same night as XU 28, UX 384, and X 103. Wolverine contacts Phoenix for help following the Goth attack. In Moscow,
Cable, Storm, and Gambit are captured by Killian and the Crimson Pirates, and Phoenix and Beast escape. The waning crescent
moon is inconsistent with the full moons of UX 383 and X 104.
IRON MAN v3 #26 - FB
One night. This flashback must occur after A '00 and M:DS 4 (1-21). Tony Stark gets a busted nose in trying to defend
Rumiko's honor in a Miami Beach club.
IRON MAN v3 #26 (1-4)
The same night as IM3 26-FB. It is shortly after IM3 .5. Tony dwells on the events of the evening. Full moon.
Monday, July 16
IRON MAN v3 #26 (5-12)
The day (beginning "19 hours and 24 minutes") after IM3 26 (1-4). Tony introduces SKIN technology at a Miami convention.
Rumiko confesses her love, much to Tony's surprise. There are many references to this being "New Year's Eve" - wishes of
"Happy New Year," "several hours away from the new millennium," and the countdown to midnight among them. Given many
other temporal references and chronologies throughout the MU, all these references must, unfortunately, be topical. The only
way I can make sense of this is that the science and tech community, in celebration of a brand new technology, decided to play up
the beginning of a new era by replicating the traditional observation of a new time period - New Year's became the theme of the
convention, and people's wishes of "Happy New Year" would be better considered with quotation marks around them.
X-FORCE #112 - FB (19:2-19:3)
One day, "two days" before XFOR 112.
X-FORCE #106
One day, probably a few days after XFOR 105. It may be six weeks, not "six months," after XFOR 106-FB (first). The X-Men
are too busy to attend Wisdom's funeral. Green grass and trees.
X-FORCE #107
The same day as XFOR 107. It may be six weeks, not "six months," after XFOR 106-FB (first).
X-FORCE #108
The same day as XFOR 107. It may be six weeks, not "six months," after XFOR 108-FB (second).
X-FORCE #109 (1-19)
The same night as XFOR 108. It may be six weeks, not "six months," after XFOR 109-FB.
X-MEN v2 #104
The night of the day after UX 384. Phoenix and Beast have reconnoitered with Wolverine, Rogue, Nightcrawler and they show
up in Hong Kong, on the trail of their missing teammates. There they battle the Crimson Pirates. Meanwhile, the captured X-
Men break free of their restraints and face the Goth. Mystique resolves to kill presidential candidate Robert Kelly. Destiny's
diary is labeled "July." Full moon.
UNCANNY X-MEN #385
The same night as X 104. In Madripoor, the X-Men are reunited with their missing teammates, who, under the influence of the
Goth and Pirates, battle and defeat them. Together, the whole team beats the bad guys. This issue must occur before X '00 (4-
24).
Tuesday, July 17
IRON MAN v3 #26 (13-22)
The early morning after IM3 26 (5-12). Right after midnight of the "new year," Iron Man faces off against Whiplash, who's been
hired to kill Iron Man. Whiplash sarcastically wishes Shellhead "Happy New Year" (apparently he's aware of the conference
theme; the fireworks over Miami make it obvious to all). A thunderstorm moves in and a bolt of lightning knocks Whiplash into
the ocean and Iron Man crashes to the ground. Unconscious, Tony dreams that his secret identity has been discovered. The
newspaper dated "Saturday, January 1, 2000" can be dismissed as part of the dream.
IRON MAN v3 #27
The same day as IM3 26 (13-22). Iron Man concludes his dream, awakens, and flies away from his crash site. He heads back to
Stark House in Seattle, where we see green grass and trees. Jocasta runs diagnostics on Tony and the armor and concludes that
Stark suffered a heart attack and the lightning strike jolted the armor into sentience. Her explanation of improper protection
against "Y2K" must be topical.
X-FORCE #109 (20-22)
The day after XFOR 109 (1-19).
Wednesday, July 18
X-FORCE #110
Probably the day after XFOR 109 (20-22). Kelly is running for president, so this must occur sometime before his death. Green
grass and trees in New England.
X-FORCE #111
The same day as XFOR 110. Warm weather in California.
X-FORCE #112
The same day as XFOR 111. It is "two days" after XFOR 112-FB (19:2-19:3).
X-FORCE #113
The same day as XFOR 112. It is "six months" before XFOR 114.
IRON MAN v3 #28
Probably the day after IM3 27. It is a workday at Stark Solutions. Happy refers to Pepper's and Tony's kiss from IM3 24 as
having occurred "the other day," but that event probably occurred weeks before now. Tony is told off by Rumiko and ends up
spending the day testing and conversing with the sentient armor. That night, Tony takes the armor on a test run and the armor
ends up killing Whiplash after the villain attacks for the second time in a week (according to IM3 29). Again, the references back
to "New Year's Eve" and "the millennium" might be better understood with quotation marks. Green grass and trees in Seattle.
Full moon.
Thursday, July 19
IRON MAN v3 #29 - FB (4-14)
The day after IM3 28, starting early in the morning, shortly after Whiplash's murder. Tony is having a cow about the sentient
armor killing Whiplash, when Rumiko shows up, having just flown to Seattle from Miami. Rumiko is rebuffed and leaves. Tony
and the armor head to San Francisco to confront Whiplash's benefactor, Trevor Donohue. That night, Pepper and Happy get off
work early and go to an outdoor carnival, an indication that this story does not indeed occur just after New Year's - it's probably
summer.
CABLE v2 #85
One day, a "week" after C2 82 (7-21). Part of this story occurs in the far-flung future.
Friday, July 20
CABLE v2 #86
The day after C2 85.

One day, "weeks" after MSDP 1 (1-12). Ego continues its destruction of planets. It is "days" before MSDP 1 (15-21).
IRON MAN v3 #29 - FB (15-18)
Probably the day after IM3 29-FB (4-14). Tony and the armor observe Whiplash's funeral, probably on the east coast. They
head back to Seattle, where Tony rustles up another armor to fight the sentient armor.
IRON MAN v3 #29
The same day as IM3 29-FB (15-18). The sentient armor wins the battle with Tony and takes him to a deserted South Pacific
island, Santa Carbonell. It is "over a week" before IM3 30 (1-9). Green grass in Seattle.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #8

CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #10
The same night as CM5 9. Flashback not recorded.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #11
The same night as CM5 10. It is "years" after CM5 11-FB. According to the MCP, this story occurs before AI 1. At the end, we
see green grass and trees and a reference to it being a school day in which report cards arrive, but this is all part of Kelly's altered
reality and may not be grounded in a real calendar.
Saturday, July 21
INCREDIBLE HULK v3 #18
One day, perhaps a few days before H3 19. Banner meets Hack, an online conspiracy theorist. With Ross' help, Ryker locates
and captures Banner at Doc Samson's place.
RUNAWAYS v2 #6 - FB (5:3)
One day, "a few years" before RUN2 7. Marianella helps Ultron reconstruct himself and creates Victor.
Sunday, July 22
THOR v2 #28
One day. If T2 29 leads into AI 1, then Thor's appearance here must occur after CA3 34.
THOR v2 #29
The same day as T2 28. We see outdoor swimming weather wherever the Wrecking Crew is. It is before AI 1 and MAXSEC 1.
Monday, July 23
AVENGERS INFINITY #1
One day, which I'm inclined to believe is the day after T2 28-29. According to the MCP, this story occurs after CM5 11.
AVENGERS INFINITY #2
The same day as AI 1.
AVENGERS INFINITY #3
The same day as AI 2.
AVENGERS INFINITY #4
The same day as AI 3.

One day?
BLACK PANTHER v3 #21
The same day as BP3 20?
BLACK PANTHER v3 #22
The same day as BP3 21? According to the MCP, this story occurs after H3 17.
Wednesday, July 25
INCREDIBLE HULK v3 #19
One day, perhaps a few days after H3 18. According to the MCP, Nick Fury appears here after CA3 32. During Ryker's
examination of the captive Hulk at Area 51, all of Banner's dormant Hulk personas start to break free in his subconscious.
INCREDIBLE HULK v3 #20 (1-20)
The same day as H3 19. It is a few days before H3 20 (21-22) and perhaps "three years" before WWH:GC 1. According to the
MCP, Nick Fury appears here before CA3 33, but this may not be right. This story probably occurs before HS 1 and H '00
(1-13). Ross frees Hulk and discovers that Ryker wanted the Hulk in order to save his wife, who is mutated by gamma radiation.
After Hulk fights Flux, SHIELD bursts in on the scene and Ryker escapes.
Thursday, July 26
MAXIMUM SECURITY: DANGEROUS PLANET #1 (21:3-22)
One day, "a few days" after MSDP 1 (15-21) and "five days" before MS:DP 1 (23-). Lilandra tours Selandiar's planetary
defenses against Ego.
X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (1-3)
One night with a waxing crescent moon. Yuriko Oyama is attacked in Ottawa.
Friday, July 27
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #21
One day with green trees. It is supposed to be "Tuesday, the twenty-seventh" in a month with 30 days, but it may be only the
27th that is correct.
X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (4-24)
The day after X '00 (1-3). Since Rogue is leader of the X-Men, this segment must occur after X 103, and thus after UX 385.
The X-Men line-up here (Rogue, Wolverine, Thunderbird, Colossus, Psylocke) suggests that this story occurs at the same time as
XU 28 - the entire team must be reunited at this point, but they've broken up into the same two teams as before UX 385. It is
less than "six months" after Neal Sharra's mutant powers manifested in XU 27-FB (15-17). The events of ASTONX 2 are noted
as having occurred "recently." The X-Men stave off an attack of Prime Sentinels in pursuit of Lady Deathstrike and the group try
to figure out who's behind the attack. It is a "long and lazy" summer day "with the heat layering the land." We see the X-Men
sunbathing and swimming and green grass and trees at Xavier's.
X-MEN UNLIMITED #28
One day, "37 days" after XU 28-FB. Beast's reference to "another Thieves Guild debt" places this story after UX 385. The X-
Men line-up here (Cable, Gambit, Beast, Storm, and Phoenix) suggests that this story occurs at the same time as X '00 (4-24) -
the entire team must be reunited at this point, but they've broken up into the same two teams as before UX 385. The X-Men are
attacked by Darkstar in Moscow, where we see coat weather and green vegetation. Then they all teleport to Rebirth Island,
where they battle Ivan Kivelki, who has become the Black Death.
NEW WARRIORS v2 #7 (21-22)
One day, "one month" after NW2 7 (5-19). Mickey visits Dalton at Sing Sing, where we see green trees. That night in Seattle,
Iron Fist is attacked by Hand ninjas and Night Thrasher appears on the scene. Full moon.
NEW WARRIORS v2 #8
The same night as NW2 7 (21-22). According to the MCP, this story occurs after W2 149. The Hand abduct Danny Rand.
Namorita, Turbo, and Donna go clubbing with Firestar, who appears here after A3 27. Angelica says that she and Vance are
thinking about setting a date for their wedding. Turbo and Aegis go see the X-Men movie. Night Thrasher calls the team out to
Seattle to help him retrieve Danny, but the Warriors arrive too late - Junzo Muto has stolen the Iron Fist power and after a battle,
Muto and the Hand get away. We see what looks like a lunar eclipse of a full moon.
Saturday, July 28
INCREDIBLE HULK v3 #20 (21-22)
One day, a few days after H3 20 (1-20). Smart Hulk realizes that all the personalities inside have broken free. Green trees.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL 2000/2 (1-9)
One day, shortly after PPSM '00/2-FB. It is "weeks" before PPSM '00/2 (10).
IRON MAN v3 #30 (1-9)
One day, "over a week" after IM3 29. During that time, Tony has been a prisoner of the sentient armor, so he cannot have made
any appearances anywhere else in that time. Tony comes to and the sentient armor tries to come to grips with its feelings. The
armor gets a distress call from the Avengers, and the armor flies off to prove he can be Iron Man without Tony. After the armor
leaves, Tony escapes his restraints. It is "two days" before IM3 30 (10-11).
NEW WARRIORS v2 #9 - FB
The day after NW2 8 and the same day as IM3 30 (1-9). "Two hours" before NW2 9, the Warriors return to New Jersey from
Seattle and drop off Danny Rand as his retreat. Night Thrasher ridicules the Warriors and leaves. Then the Warriors face
Blizzard in New York. In response to the Avengers distress signal he received in IM3 30 (1-9), the sentient armor arrives on the
scene and trashes Blizzard, then proceeds to mop the floor with the Warriors. Green trees in New York.
NEW WARRIORS v2 #9
The same day as NW2 9-FB. The sentient armor takes off and the Warriors are left to defend themselves before the media about
the battle with Iron Man. After Ginger Jaye-Firestone publicly accuses Nova of killing her husband, the press has a field day.
We see reports that Namorita has a romantic relationship with Johnny Storm and that the FF have seemingly allied with Dr.
Doom, placing this story sometime between FF3 27 and 30. Bolt tells Namorita he has the Legacy Virus, Nova and Turbo get
close, and Speedball announces that they're going to Hollywood. It is "four days" before NW2 10.
X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (25-40)
Probably the day after X '00 (4-24). The mystery of the Prime Sentinels takes Deathstrike and the X-Men to Belize, where they
battle Stryfe. Waxing half moon.

probably surfaced following Professor Hulk's time in the body.
HULK SMASH #2
The same day as HS 1. A group of soldiers takes on Savage Hulk in the southwestern desert. Kevin places this issue before H
'00 (1-13), which begins with Savage Hulk in the southwestern desert.

armor returns and battles Tony, only to end up sacrificing itself to save Tony, who's having another heart attack. Tony receives
the armor's mechanical heart in place of his own.
HELLCAT #1
One day, after A '00. Full moon.
HELLCAT #2
The same night as HC 1. Full moon.
HELLCAT #3
The same night as HC 2. This series cannot occur between A3 34 and MAXSEC 1, since Simon is in a restorative tank during
that time, and it cannot occur after MAXSEC 1, since there is no time between then and Clint's incarceration in TB 50 for this
story to happen. Simon must appear here before his reported absence in A3 31, and since Beast is here too, I propose that HC 1-
3 occur a week before A3 31 and right before A3 33-FB (7:6-7:8).
X-MEN v2 #105
One night with a full moon. Cable is here after XMF 6 (1-33). According to Destiny's journal, it is "July." It is during a

The day after MSDP 1 (23-34). The Galactic Council votes to do something about the meddling human race and take action
"tomorrow."
AVENGERS v3 #33 - FB (7:6-7:8)
One day, "almost a week" before A3 31. While carrying luggage in an airport (from the look of it), Wonder Man is captured by
Nefaria. The presumption is that this scene occurs right after AT:WMB 2, but I propose that it occurs after HC 3.
NEW WARRIORS v2 #10 (1-18)
One day, "four days" after NW2 9. Hercules transports Namorita, Turbo, Bolt, and Aegis to Olympus to answer for the
possession of Aegis' breastplate. Once there, Athena explains her selection of Aegis as the wearer of the plate, and after the
Warriors successfully battle Hercules, Zeus gives Athena's decision his blessing. Nova and Speedball are in Hollywood to ink a
movie deal, and Nova decides to face the charges leveled against him.
IRON MAN v3 #31 (1-11)
The same night as IM3 30 (21-22). Back at Stark House, Tony gets a clean bill of health from Jocasta, except for the fact that he
will have to recharge his heart periodically. He then goes to Rumiko to tell her he loves her. After that, Jocasta picks up an

Wong-Chu's camp, only to be captured. Sol refers to IM3 29-FB (4-14) as having occurred "a few nights ago," but it must be
longer than that. Full moon.
IRON MAN ANNUAL 2000
The same day as IM3 32. Iron Man and the Sons of Yinsen defeat Wong-Chu and retrieve the brain of Yinsen.
MAXIMUM SECURITY #1 - FB (28:1-28:3)
The day after MSDP 1 (35-40). The Galactic Council votes to make Earth a quarantined, intergalactic prison. This flashback
must occur before BP3 25 (1-14), after the first alien criminals are sent to Earth and the energy barrier is erected.
NEW WARRIORS v2 #10 (19-22)
Probably the day after NW2 10 (1-18). Nova makes himself available to NYPD detectives and a DA for questioning and the DA
decides not to press charges against Nova. She-Hulk appears as Nova's attorney to give a statement to the press, including Ben
Urich. The Warriors decide to stop playing to the media and to concentrate on fighting crime. That night, Bolt tells the team
about his disease and Night Thrasher returns to the fold. Junzo Muto watches the Warriors' taped press conference and refers to
a plan taking effect that will manifest itself shortly, in IFW 1 (1-10).

The day after FF3 30 (1-15).
DEADPOOL v3 #43
Early one morning after T2 26, Constrictor and Titania (Copycat) are delivering stolen vehicles to a fence. They are attacked by
Absorbing Man who is there for the same thing, but Titania (Copycat) disappears and Creel fights a confused Constrictor who
doesn't understand why Creel thinks his wife is at home in bed. Constrictor confronts Titania (Copycat) about what is going on.
Titania says it's marital problems and leave it be. Deadpool returns home explains how he got back to his roommates. Just then
a new client, Achebe, comes through the door.
DEADPOOL v3 #44
The same day as DP3 43. Iron Man is in his classic armor here, so this story must occur after IM '00. The Avengers are
wondering what to do about Erik Killmonger, who has shown up at Avengers Mansion as the new Black Panther. Achebe has
Deadpool, Copycat (playing Titania), and Constrictor raid the Mansion to retrieve Preyy, who, with Triathlon is transported to
Wakanda. Green grass and trees in New York.
Saturday, August 4
BLACK PANTHER v3 #23
The day after DD2 44. It is a "Saturday." This issue occurs during the year before BP3 42. The Avengers and Killmonger go to
Wakanda to retrieve Triathlon and Preyy. Deadpool shows up there too. The Avengers line-up here includes She-Hulk but not
Vision, so this story must occur before A3 31.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #24 (1-12)
The same day as BP3 23. Killmonger discovers Preyy's carcass. Everett Ross tries to deal with the revocation of his U.S.
citizenship. Queen Divine Justice is "only 16" and T'Challa is "way over 30."

One day, "five days" after IHM:MMH 1/2 (1-2) and "days" before IHM:MMH 1/2 (6:1). Chandler continues to tail Brigit and
tells Gilray that she's not cheating on him with any man.
FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #30 (17:4-17:9)
The day after FF3 30 (16-17). Full moon.
Sunday, August 5
DEADPOOL v3 #45
The day after BP3 23. Soldiers wake Deadpool up from a messed up dream, warning him that General Esteban's guards are
firing upon them and need to defend themselves. One of the soldiers gets shot and Wade tells the others to shut up and leave him
alone. One of the soldiers thinks they are actually dealing with Thom Cruz in disguise. Wade jumps out of the helicopter and
crashes through a window, landing in Esteban's office. He orders his guards to kill Deadpool, but he dodges all of the bullets.
He throws some poisonous gas at them. In jail, Constrictor and Titania (Copycat) are biding their time. Suddenly, Frank smells
something on the glass. Discusted he calls for the guards. At the same time Titania transforms into her true self and then into
one of the guards. The guards don't understand what their friend is doing in the tank, and quickly open it. Copycat makes her
escape, leaving Constrictor behind. Deadpool returns home and battles Copycat and finds out how it is a plot by the Wizard and
Taskmaster to get revenge on him. Copycat took the job against Deadpool for money. They try to blow him up but he is
uninjured due to Loki's curse. Later that day at a bar, Deadpool accidently breaks Loki's curse by apologizing to his father.

The day after BP3 24 (1-12). Killmonger undergoes the rite of ascension and is killed. Malice kills Nikki Adams.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #25 - FB (1:4-14)
The same day as BP3 24 (13-22). It is "more than a year" after BP3 1. Vibraxas tries to call Reed Richards, but Roberta informs
him that the Richards family is out; an editor's note indicates that IM3 35 is the reason for the absence, but this cannot be right;
they may be in Latveria instead, as seen in FF3 30-31. Snow in the Wakandan mountains. Imprisoned alien criminals try to
break free from Earth after being consigned there as a result of the Galactic Council's decision of MS 1-FB (28). This may be
the first chronological appearance of alien criminals on Maximum Security Earth, before their presence becomes great in
numbers
as shown in MAXSEC 1-FB (28-29). The impervious energy barrier must go up around earth before this point to keep humans
on Earth, so no adventure involving space travel from Earth can occur between now and MAXSEC.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #25 (1:1-1:3)
The same day as BP3 25-FB.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #25 (15-20:3)
The same day as BP3 25 (1). It is before UX 387.

One day, "days" after IHM:MMH 1/2 (3-5). Chandler spies Doop and Brigit at the beach.
Wednesday, August 8
AVENGERS v3 #31
One day. The Vision returns. The Beast reports that Wonder Man has been missing for "almost a week," since A3 33-FB (7:6-
7:8). The suggestion here is that Hank and Simon last hung out together in AT:WMB 3 (22-23), but it is possible they decided
to chum around following HC 3, and it is HC 3 that occurred a week before this issue. It is after IM '00, before TB 42, and "a
few days" before A3 32.
THUNDERBOLTS #38
One day. It is probably more than just "three weeks" after TB 37 FB-FB. This issue must occur after HC 3. School is in
session, but this must be a summer class. Green grass and trees.

The same day as TB 38.

"not going to be in on Monday."
THUNDERBOLTS #42
One day, perhaps the day after TB 41. This issue must occur after A3 31 and it is "a few days" before A3 32.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL 2000
One night with a full moon.
X-MEN UNLIMITED #32/2
One night with a full moon. While in confession in a Manhattan church, Nightcrawler encounters a drug gang. Because the
World Trade Center is shown here, this story must occur before ASM2 36.

The same night as FF3 32-FB. The necklace from Namor keeps the unconscious Sue from drowning in the ocean.

his life. At Avengers Mansion, She-Hulk tells Wasp she's worried about Bruce. The crescent moon may be topical.
Saturday, August 11
HULK ANNUAL 2000 (14-38)
The day after H '00 (1-13). Savage Hulk arrives in New York and battles the Avengers in Central Park. Behaving like an ape
after a mate, Hulk beats up She-Hulk then leaves in anger. Vision is back with the Avengers but She-Hulk hasn't left the team
yet and Wonder Man is not present. I place this annual during the few days between A3 31 and 32. Thor is not present.
X-MEN UNLIMITED #27
One day, "a few months" after X 98 (21-22) and "seven months" after XU 27-FB.
Sunday, August 12
FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #33 (1)
A "Sunday afternoon" of "summer's day." It cannot be long after FF '00 because Reed hasn't fixed Technarx's damage to Pier
4's electronic systems, leaving the headquarters vulnerable to the attack that destroys it in this issue (although it is true that Reed
has been "off balance" lately). Ben is out playing a celebrity softball game.
AVENGERS v3 #32 (1-10:2)
One summer afternoon, "a few days" after TB 42 and A3 31. This issue must occur after CA3 31 and H '00. IM '99 is referred to

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #33 (2-22)
The day ("twenty-four hours") after FF3 32 (1). On the trail of the saboteur, the FF end up in Arizona, where Reed discovers the
reason for the sabotage. When Reed checks his messages, there's one from Tony Stark, who notes he'll be in New York "next
week"; perhaps he planned to stop there after the Miami convention in IM3 26, although events of that issue would have forced a
change in plans. Full moon.
FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #34
The same day as FF3 32 (2-22). Working with a group of aliens, the FF destroys the Obliterator mothership.
THUNDERBOLTS #43 (12-13)

X-MEN FOREVER #6 (34)
One day. Juggernaut appears here "two weeks" after XMF 6 (1-33).
I (HEART) MARVEL: MY MUTANT HEART #1/2 (6:2-8)
One day, probably before XFOR 116-FB. When Gilray finds the truth, Chandler follows him to a Las Vegas hotel room to stop
him from killing the one he's fallen in love with himself - Doop. Chandler and Doop ride off with arms around each other.
Wednesday, August 15
IRON FIST: WOLVERINE #1 (1-10)
One day. It must be shortly after NW2 10 (19-22). HFH 8 is referred to as having occurred "last year" and "a while back."

Tokyo. Green grass and trees in Central Park. Full moon.
AMAZING FANTASY v2 #10/2 - FB (5:2)
One night. At her 18th birthday party at her father's mansion in Hollywood, Nina Price starts to feel herself changing into a
werewolf for the first time. She flees the party. There must be a full moon.

The morning after AAF2 10/2-FB (5:2). It is a "few months" before AAF2 10/2-FB (5:4). Nina wakes up naked in a barn
outside of town with blood all over her. She can't figure out what happened to her.

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #36
The same day as FF3 35. According to the MCP, this issue occurs after DD:N 3 and before ASM2 22 and M/K 6.
IRON FIST: WOLVERINE #1 (11-22)
One day, two days ("forty-eight hours") after IFW 1 (1-10). Iron Fist arrives in Tokyo, where he meets up with Wolverine and
they both are taken to the Kingpin, who offers to help the heroes take Junzo Muto out of business. A wall goes up around Tokyo
and the city begins to merge with K'un Lun.
IRON FIST: WOLVERINE #2 - FB
The same day as IFW 1 (11-22). Junzo Muto defeat the Dragon Kings and imprison Yu-Ti.
IRON FIST: WOLVERINE #2
The same day as IFW 2-FB. The Fantastic Four and the Avengers respond to the crisis caused by the wall around Tokyo; the
latter send Iron Man to assess the situation. The Vision is with the Avengers here and She-Hulk is not, an indication that this
story occurs after A34. Iron Man is in his classic armor. According to Russ, Reed Richards is here between SENTRY 2 and FF3
35. SHIELD sends Captain America to Tokyo to assist. Iron Fist finds himself imprisoned with Yu-Ti, while Wolverine, Iron
Man, Cap, Psylocke, Luke Cage, and Sunfire form a strike force to get into Tokyo. Iron Man is in his classic armor, so this story
must occur sometime after IM '00. Full moon.
IRON FIST: WOLVERINE #3 (1-5:1)
The same night as IFW 2. Sunfire refuses to accept aid from Wolverine, Cage, Iron Man, Captain America, and Psylocke.
Friday, August 17
IRON FIST: WOLVERINE #3 (5:2-22)
It must be the day after IFW 3 (1-5), but "less than 24 hours" after IFW 1 (11-22). As Cage, Iron Man, and Psylocke deal with
K'un Lun dragons materializing in Tokyo, Wolverine frees Iron Fist, Misty, and Yu-Ti from captivity.
IRON FIST: WOLVERINE #4
The same day as IFW 3 (5-22), "24 hours" after IFW 1 (11-22). The heroes foil Junzo Muto's plot and K'un Lun disappears
from this plane, but the villain escapes, still possessing Danny's powers. Iron Fist nearly dies, but is revived. According to the
MCP, this story occurs before X 102, but the July placement of X 105 causes me to suggest a later placement for IFW 1-4 .
FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #37
One day. Damage Control cleans up the destroyed Pier 4. This occurs after things have calmed down a bit. The MCP has this
issue occurring after MAXSEC 3, but that's probably not correct, given that you wouldn't want to have all that debris lying
around for a couple of weeks, and Reed and Sue are shown here working out of Damage Control headquarters, talking about how
nice it is that they're allowed to borrow the facilities, suggesting that they've just started using them. Warm weather in New
York.
Saturday, August 18
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #22 (1-11)
One day.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #26 - FB (14-16:4)

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #23
Probably the same day as ASM2 22 (16-22). It is after SM:RGG 1 (16-22) and a "month" before ASM2 25 (21-40). It is
"fifteen years" after the flashbacks in this issue.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #24 (1-6:3)
The same day as ASM2 23.
MAXIMUM SECURITY #1
The same day as the ASM2 24 (1-6). It is probably the day after IM3 34 and the same day as the "latest reports" footage of
MAXSEC 1-FB (16-17). This issue, showing the beginning of the alien importation, occurs after A3 34 and the end of the
second flashback in this issue. It is long enough after the first flashback for U.S.Agent to settle into his new assignment.
Spidey's appearance here must be a new scene, not a tape of his encounter with aliens in ASM2 24, judging by the setting and
the slightly different appearance of the Badoon in this issue from the aliens in ASM2 24. Spidey may appear here while on his
way home from the encounter in ASM2 24.
THOR v2 #30
The same day as MAXSEC 1. It is after MAXSEC 2-FB. Since MAXSEC 1 occurs after the MSDP 1 (23-40), which occurs a
week or so after AI, which in turn follows T2 29, then Malekith must have waited more than a week to release the might of the
Casket of Ancient Winters. Why? Who knows with a lunatic like Malekith?
IRON MAN v3 #35
It must be the same day as MAXSEC 1. It is "a few hours" -- probably the day after -- IM3 34. We see green grass and trees in
Nebraska.

The same night as ASM2 24 (1-6) and MAXSEC 1.
UNCANNY X-MEN #386

occurs during hurricane season, and late enough for a hurricane named "Sam." Jean appears here after XMF 6.

Marvel battles Una and Zev.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #13
The same day as CM5 12 (9-22). This issue must occur before TB 45.
CAPTAIN AMERICA v3 #36
The same night as TB 45. It is after MAXSEC 1. Full moon.
MAXIMUM SECURITY #2
The same night as CA3 36, TB 45, CM5 12, and BTLXM 15. It is before A3 35. The Avengers' screens must be showing
recorded scenes that occurred recently, especially since Genis should be on the moon at this point. Chronological analysis
suggests that Iron Man, the FF, and the Surfer have been dealing with Ego for a day or so.
Tuesday, September 4
U.S.AGENT v2 #3 - FB
One day. This flashback featuring the Power Broker occurs sometime during Maximum Security. I just stuck it here.
INCREDIBLE HULK v3 #21
Probably the day after MAXSEC 2. As a favor to Hack, Joe Fixit fights aliens for corn. Green trees in Iowa.
THUNDERBOLTS #45 (1-9)
One day. It is "three weeks" after TB 45-FB. As the Ego-Mass continues to threaten earth, Andrea Sterman pursues an
investigation into Omega-32, John Watkins awakens after "five years in a coma," and the T-Bolts take off for the moon in a
jumpship provided by Techno/Ogre to deal with Moonstone. It takes the team"six minutes" to get there. Captain Britain
cameos. The scenes shown on Techno's screens must be pre-recorded.
THUNDERBOLTS #47 -- FB (7:2)
The same day as TB 45 (1-9). This flashback must occur after CM5 13. Mentor asks Rick Jones and Captain Marvel for help in
dealing with Moonstone.
THUNDERBOLTS #45 (10-22)
The same day as TB 47-FB (7:2). It is "days" before TB 48 (1-11). Carla gets some clues about the moonstone legacy from the
Supreme Intelligence, then squares off against her fellow T-Bolts before standing down. Captain Marvel arrives on the scene.
Meanwhile, Techno/Ogre checks in with Goliath concerning the continued Ego-Mass problem, Wonder Man's recovery, and
Atlas' continued incapacity. As Techno/Orge signs off, he is attacked and disabled by Scourge.
THUNDERBOLTS #46 (1:1-2/3:1)
The same day as TB 45 (10-22). It is "two months" after TB 34 and "two days" before TB 46 (2/3-22). Scourge stands over the
defeated Techno.
Wednesday, September 5
INCREDIBLE HULK v3 #22 (4-16)
Probably the day after H3 21. It is "a few years" after H3 22-FB. Joe Fixit arrives in Chicago, looking to collect the million
dollars owed him by the Delfini family.
MARVEL KNIGHTS #1
One night. Cloak is losing control of his power, so this story must occur after M/K:DS 3/2.
MARVEL KNIGHTS #2
The same night as M/K 1.
MARVEL KNIGHTS #3
The same night as M/K 2.
X-MEN: THE SEARCH FOR CYCLOPS #1 (1-11)
One night, "months" after X 98 (1-20). Cyclops returns from "death" in this series, so it must occur after the assumption of his
death as voiced in UX 387. To allow time for Scott to return and be present at 9-11, I inserted this series right after UX 387,
during Maximum Security. It would explain Jean's and Nathan's absences in X2 107and MAXSEC 3 (1-37).
Thursday, September 6
X-MEN v2 #107 - FB
One day. It is after UX 387.
X-MEN v2 #107
The same day as X 107-FB. It is after BTLXM 15 and "a few weeks" before UX 390. Full moon. Jean and Cable are not
present; I have them in X:SC at this time.
X-MEN UNLIMITED #29
The same day as X 107. It is probably the day after A3 35. We see green grass and trees in New York.
GAMBIT v3 #23
Probably the same day as XU 29. It is "two weeks" after MAXSEC 1-FB (28-29). At the end of this issue, New Sun
materializes behind Gambit and watches him walk off, but this must occur a while before New Sun's attack in GAM3 24.
X-MEN: THE SEARCH FOR CYCLOPS #1 (12-23)
The day after X:SC 1 (1-11).
X-MEN: THE SEARCH FOR CYCLOPS #2

X-MEN: THE SEARCH FOR CYCLOPS #3
The same night as X:SC 2.

INCREDIBLE HULK v3 #23 (1-7)
The same night as H3 22 (17-22). Foster and Fixit plan to kill the Delfini boys. Full moon.
Friday, September 7
INCREDIBLE HULK v3 #22 (8-21)
The early morning after H3 22 (1-7). Nobby Pyles kills Mr. Foster and Fixit defeats Nobby. The Delfinis pay Fixit $10 million.
SENTRY #1
One stormy early morning, "years" after the Sentry made his last appearance. Bob Reynolds awakens, convinced of the
impending doom of the Void. Seeing the aftermath of his delirium and that he was drinking, his wife Lindy suggests that she "go
to Judy's for a few days." Bob flies off, convinced he's been called to duty as the Sentry. We see green grass, but the autumn
leaves must be topical.
X-MEN: THE SEARCH FOR CYCLOPS #4
Probably the day after X:SC 3.
AVENGERS v3 #35
Probably the same day as X:SC 4.
MAXIMUM SECURITY #3 (1-37:1)
The same day as A3 35. Probably the day after MK 6, XU 29, and GAM2 23. It is "a week" before MAXSEC 3 (37-40).
According to the MCP, Wolverine is here before W2 154. Xavier must appear here before SENTRY 4. Again, Jean and Nathan
are not present.
THUNDERBOLTS #46 (2/3:2-22)
One day, "two days"" after TB 46 (1-2). We see "the aftermath and clean-up of the Ego-infestation" following MAXSEC 3 (1-
37). The Thunderbolts and Captain Marvel have arrived on Titan, after what may have been a two-day journey. There,
Moonstone undergoes some tests, and Isaac determines that the gem must be removed from her. Citizen V is up and about in a
London hospital and ready to resume his responsibilities in the V-Battalion "after years of being out of commission."
Meanwhile, "hours away" from his impending destruction, Techno transmits his speech program into the headquarters main drive
and asks Scourge questions about his motivations. As Atlas grows from energies he can no longer contain, Techno sacrifices
himself to free a transformed Jolt from her biocontainment chamber. Green trees in Washington, DC.
THUNDERBOLTS #47 (1-22)
The same day as TB 46 (2/3-22). It is "weeks" after A3 34. With the help of Genis, the Thunderbolts put an end to Mentor's
plans to remove the gem from Moonstone; instead, Isaac reroutes her neurosynaptic access to the stone, freeing her mind and will
from the influence of the original wielder of the gem. Atlas runs Amok, and Scourge (with an assist from Goliath) miniaturizes
him into his gauntlet and hurls it into a chasm to explode, saving Burton Canyon. Green grass north of Los Angeles.
THUNDERBOLTS #48 -- FB (1:3-1:4)
The same day as TB 47 (1-22). After "several weeks" of imprisonment, Ogre emerges from his biocontainment unit and sees the
deactivated Techno.
THUNDERBOLTS #47 (23)
"Hours" after TB 47 (1-22), the Beetle armor arrives at the old X-Factor headquarters in Washington and Citizen V prepares to
assume leadership of a new team.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #25 (20:4-22)
One day. Storm, after having been picked up in UX 386, after probably getting sidetracked into assisting with the worldwide
crisis of MAXSEC, and after waiting for the return of T'Challa, finally greets the Wakandan king. It is long enough after BP3 25
(1-20) for T'Challa to change Wakanda's monetary standard, return nationalized assets, and force a State Department hearing.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #26
The same day as BP3 25 (20-22). While rounding up aliens leftover from MAXSEC, Storm and Panther find a runaway Deviant
mother and child. Ghaur's demands for their return sparks a delicate political situation that captures the world's attention. Given
this political situation, it's best to place this storyline before the terrorist attacks of 9-11. We see snow in Wakanda, which I
would say is certainly possible in October.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #27
The same day as BP3 26. The crisis deepens and Storm returns to the X-Men. We see green grass and trees in DC.
DAREDEVIL v2 #20/2
One night during football season. Spidey and Daredevil yuk it up in a bar and fight a couple of street thugs. Full moon and
thunder, which is perhaps a residual effect of the weather front seen as rain in DP3 47 (1-8).
INCREDIBLE HULK v3 #22 (22)
The same night as H3 22 (8-21). Mr. Fixit leaves Chicago.
Saturday, September 8
DEADPOOL v3 #47 (1-8)
One rainy day. It must be several days after DP3 46 (17-22), as Beth Pierson's funeral is shown here. Posing as Mike the
Monster, Deadpool sets the real mobster up for his killing at a Brooklyn social club at "five AM." He mentions that he followed
a girl "home from school the other day," so the school year must have begun by now. That evening, Wade and Anna go to Coney
Island, which is open, an indication that it may indeed be the season suggested by the story title, "Cruel Summer;" however, it
would have to be late in the summer, given the school reference above, and so probably a weekend night. Full moon.
SENTRY #2
The cloudy day after SENTRY 1 (again, perhaps part of that weather front from DP3 47 and DD2 20/2). It appears to be early
evening, as the Thing and the Torch are watching William Shatner's "World''s Greatest Abduction Mysteries," which seems like
a FOX-type prime-time show rather than a daytime show. The TV show makes reference to the Void attacking Turkey in the
night -- and since the Void didn't have physical power until the Sentry released him by drinking the formula in SENTRY 1,
enough time has passed between that issue and now for the Void to attack Turkey, and for a TV show to get made about it. (And
since Turkey is ahead of the USA in terms of time zones, night in Turkey would be afternoon in the USA -- so if the Void
attacked Turkey in the afternoon after the morning he was released, the evening-airing TV show was probably produced the next
morning -- making this the day after SENTRY 1.) Additionally, the Bugle's headline reads "The Killer Cloud Killed My
Husband," so unless it's a late-late edition, this must be the day after SENTRY 1. The Sentry stands atop the remains of Four
Freedoms Plaza, and comments to Reed on "how many of these buildings have been recently rebuilt" -- this may be a reference
to the Void's last attack, "years" ago, but it could also refer to Onslaught, or any other NYC-trashing event. According to the
MCP, Reed Richards appears here between TB 44 and IFW 2.
SENTRY #3
The same cold, cloudy night as SENTRY 2. The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Hulk, and Dr. Strange appear. Bare trees and
autumn leaves may be topical. According to Reed Richards'' diary, it''s "October 17," but this must be topical.
SENTRY #4
The same night as SENTRY 3. Dr. Strange hints at the story of the Sentry to Reed Richards. The Sentry warns Professor X that
the Void is coming; Xavier's presence among the X-Men suggests placement of this story after MAXSEC 3 (1-37). Peter Parker
suddenly remembers the Sentry while investigating magazine issues that were wiped from existence. The Sentry approaches
Tony Stark about their dim memories and the Void''s approach, then he encounters the Watchtower. Tony's having a party,
Billy is sleeping, and Joe Robertson says it's a "godforsaken hour" to be working. We see green grass and falling autumn leaves
at Xavier's.
SENTRY #5 (1-8)
The same night as SENTRY 4. Inside the Watchtower, Sentry disables the hypnotic transmitter that made everyone forget him,
and the world forgets the Sentry.
Sunday, September 9
DEADPOOL v3 #47 (9-22)
The day after DP3 47 (1-8). Deadpool sets up the deaths of the Possa Brothers, but his hit on another mobster named Vinnie
isn't successful. After he tries to finish the job in a hospital, Deadpool meets Pierson for payment and gets ambushed by Anna.
DEADPOOL v3 #48
The same day as DP3 47 (9-22). Deadpool awkens to find he's buried alive, but Anna digs him up and details her schemes and
those of Pierson. Jimmy shows up and everyone except Wade ends up dead. Green grass and trees in New York.
THUNDERBOLTS #48 (1-11)
One day. It is "days" after TB 45 (10-22). If it took as long to return to earth from Titan as it may have to go from the moon to
Titan, then it may be two days after TB 47 (1-22) -- for this timing to work, however, we'd have to assume that Hallie was
laying low around Mt. Charteris for a couple of days while SHIELD was taking a long time securing the Thunderbolts' base and
Ogre was checking damaged equipment and securing portions of the base. This is not difficult to believe, given that the T-Bolts
never knew about large parts of the base after living there for months. As SHIELD delves deeper into Mt. Charteris, Ogre
disappears through a tesseract portal with Humus Sapiens still in the last biocontainment unit. At that moment, the T-Bolts arrive
on earth, discover Hallie alive, then, to avoid SHIELD, they all retreat to the Canadian Rockies, where they regroup that night
("an hour later") and lock on Scourge's location. Full moon.
SENTRY #5 (9-22)
The day after SENTRY 5 (1-8). The Void causes an unnatural hurricane in the Atlantic and the Sentry gathers the Fantastic
Four, Hulk, Spider-Man, Archangel, and several Avengers together on Liberty Island to face the coming danger.
SENTRY/FANTASTIC FOUR #1
The same night as SENTRY 5 (9-22). On a stormy Liberty Island, Reed Richards recalls a past encounter with the Sentry.
SENTRY/X-MEN #1
The same night as S/FF 1. On Liberty Island, Archangel recalls a past encounter with the Sentry. The WTC towers are seen in
this issue, placing this story before ASM2 36.
SENTRY/SPIDER-MAN #1
The same night as S/X 1. On Liberty Island, Spider-Man recalls previous encounters with the Sentry.
SENTRY/HULK #1
The same night as S/SM 1. On Liberty Island, Hulk recalls previous encounters with the Sentry.
SENTRY/THE VOID #1 (1-20)
The same night as S/H 1. Everyone realizes that the Sentry is the Void and the heroes are forced to reactivate the transmitter,
again wiping knowledge of the Sentry from everyone's minds.
DEADPOOL v3 #49 (1-14)
Probably the same night as DP3 48, as Wade's healing power is working to repair the burns he suffered in DP3 48. Wade
encounters three women, who unbeknownst to him, are all Copycat.
Monday, September 10
THUNDERBOLTS #52 - FB
It is either the same day as TB 48 (1-11) or the day after. This flashback occurs between TB 48 (1-11) and TB 49.
SENTRY/THE VOID #1 (21-22)
The day after S/V 1 (1-20). The destruction in New York is labeled "the most expensive natural disaster in history."
THUNDERBOLTS #48 (12-22)
The day after TB 48 (1-11). Citizen V runs a training session with his new team, which is joined by the new Meteorite. Roger
Aubrey goes to retrieve endangered reporter Andrea Sterman in Los Angeles, where we see green trees. The T-Bolts track
Scourge to Denver Airport, where they defeat and unmask him to reveal (a faked) Captain America, prompting Hallie to blow the
whistle on Hawkeye's ruse and to reveal her crippled physical state.
THUNDERBOLTS #49
The same day as TB 48 (12-22). It is after TB 59-FB (13-14). I don't place a gap between TB 48 and 49.
DEADPOOL v3 #49 (15-20:3)
The day after DP3 49 (1-14). It is a school day at Our Lady of Passion School for Girls, where we see soccer practice. It is also
a day in which "Judge Judy" is aired on TV and delivery services are operating. Wade has more encounters with the guises of
Copycat. The Mercy Sisters kill a girl. Green grass and trees in New York.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #28
One day. BP3 27 is referred to as having occurred "the other day" and it is "years" after DEF 84. Magneto and Namor discuss
the political situation regarding Ghaur, and Dr. Doom joins in, via transmission from Planet Doom. Everett K. Ross mentions
"our new rookie president," but we don't know to whom this refers.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #29
The same day as BP3 28.
BLACK PANTHER v3 #30 - FB (10-11)
The same day as BP3 29. Panther flees from the mob with Ross and Officer Price.

MOMENT OF SILENCE #1/3 (3:7-4)
The morning after MOS 1/3 (1-3). Michael Otten's family see the World Trade Tower tragedy unfold on TV. It is "09/11/01."
MOMENT OF SILENCE #1
September 11. Port Authority building inspector Tony Savas works with firefighters, rescue workers, and police in the Wold
Trade Center disaster.
MOMENT OF SILENCE #1/4
September 11. A family goes about their daily business when they see the World Trade Center ablaze. They fear the worst about
the father of the family, who works at WTC, but he arrives home safely that night.
CAPTAIN AMERICA v4 #1 (1-20)
September 11. This segment occurs "seven months" before CA4 1 (21-32), which is supposed to occur on Easter.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #36
A "flashback" issue set on September 11, which occurs before CA&F 4-FB (10-11). Hawkeye was pulled here in the short break
between TB 49 and 50, as explained by Jeph; after TB 50 he is incarcerated and wouldn't be able to be present. It would be nice
to think that the other Thunderbolts, since they're in DC, surreptitiously (undercover) assist with the aftermath of the Pentagon
attack. Cyclops is here, so it must be after X:SC 4. Magneto is here, probably because he was in the New York area anyway,
having dealt with the Panther in the Bronx in BP3 28. This issue must occur after XU 32/2, as the WTC is still standing in that
story.
PUNISHER WAR JOURNAL v2 #5 - FB (1)
On "September 11, 2001" (year topical), Ian and other New Yorkers fly flags to show support for police and firemen dealing with
the carnage of the World Trade Center attack.
THUNDERBOLTS #50 - FB (8:5-8:6)
One evening at dinner time.
Wednesday, September 12
THUNDERBOLTS #50 - FB (9:2)
The early morning after TB 50-FB (8), just long enough after TB 49 for 9-11 to occur. After helping out in New York, Hawkeye
rejoins his teammates in Washington to continue their mission.
THUNDERBOLTS #50 (1-36)
The same day as TB 50-FB (9:2).
MOMENT OF SILENCE #1/3 (5)
The day after MOS 1/3 (4). The Ottens continue to watch TV coverage of the rescue effort at the World Trade Center without
word of Michael Otten's fate. It is "09/12/01."
Thursday, September 13
THUNDERBOLTS #50 (37)
The day after TB 50 (1-36). For reasons elaborated below, I would insert a gap of a few months between epilogs 2 and 3 in TB
50, during which time pardons are secured for the Thunderbolts and the Redeemer program is reevaluated in Citizen V's absence.
You know, those bureaucratic wheels turn slowly.
PUNISHER v5 #9
One day?
PUNISHER v5 #10
The same rainy day as PUN5 9. The Russian mops up the floor with Frank, while Elite, Mr. Payback, and the Holy team up.
Green trees.
PUNISHER v5 #11
The same day as PUN5 10.
Friday, September 14
MOMENT OF SILENCE #1/3 (6)
One day, two days after MOS 1/3 (5). The Ottens continue to fear the worst as news coverage of the 9-11 rescue effort
continues. It is "09/14/01."
WOLVERINE v2 #154
One day? I don't have this issue, but according to the MCP, it occurs after MAXSEC 3 (1-37).
WOLVERINE v2 #155
The same day as W2 154? Again, I don't have this issue. Help with temporal references, anyone?
Saturday, September 15
MOMENT OF SILENCE #1/3 (7)
The morning after MOS 1/3 (6). The Ottens despair over Michael Otten's fate as TV news coverage continues. It is "09/15/01."
MOMENT OF SILENCE #1/2 - FB
One day on the "next weekend" after September 11. Cleveland firefighter John Dudas and his coworkers arrive at Ground Zero
to help with rescue efforts in the wake of the World Trade Center disaster.
MAXIMUM SECURITY #3 (37:2-40)
One day, "a week" after MAXSEC 3 (1-37). The last of the alien criminals are extradited. Cadre K leaves Professor X for space.
U.S.Agent tells off the Avengers.
Sunday, September 16
DEADPOOL v3 #49 (20:4-22)
One day. Wade leaves messages for the women he's met, asking for dates "next week...except Tuesday and Friday," "on Tuesday
night," "Friday night," and "this Saturday," a day on which a "street fair" is to be held. I infer from all this that it's a Sunday.
Monday, September 17
MOMENT OF SILENCE #1/3 (8)
One morning, two days after MOS 1/3 (7). Still no word about Michael Otten as TV coverage focuses on the heroes at Ground
Zero. It is "09/17/01."
X-MEN UNLIMITED #35
A weekday during the high school year. Jean Grey encounters Sabretooth while recruiting teenager Joel Haines for Xavier's
school. Sabretooth is in his classic costume, so this story likely occurs before his forced recruitment into Weapon X in W2 160.
Although out of publication order, I've placed Sabretooth here before XU 33/6. We see green grass and trees at Westchester and
Joel's dad mentions the idea of grounding his son "'till Christmas."
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #35 (1-7)
LaFronce comes home from school to his drug addict mother and pretends Spider-Man is there. Warm, short-sleeve weather.
Tuesday, September 18
MOMENT OF SILENCE #1/3 (9-12)
The day after MOS 1/3 (8). The Ottens go to see Ground Zero. It is "09/18/01."
DAREDEVIL v2 #20 - FB
One day, probably a week or two before DD2 20. Matt is defending a corporate boss accused of racism and during trial
interrogates the guy suing.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #35 (8-12)
Perhaps the day after PPSM2 35 (1-7). LaFronce spends time in class while his aunt and uncle talk to the school counselor.
That afternoon, La Fronce gets home to see his mother abused by Devo and daydreams of Spidey again.
Wednesday, September 19
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #35 (13-18)
Perhaps the day after PPSM2 35 (8-12). LaFronce is picked up by his aunt and uncle at school and goes home to find his dead
mother being taken out of their home in a stretcher. It is "two months" before PPSM2 35 (19-22). Green grass and trees and
golf weather.
WOLVERINE v2 #156
One day.
WOLVERINE v2 #157
The same day as W2 156. According to the MCP, Spidey appears here before SM:MM 1 and Logan before W '00.
Thursday, September 20
AVENGERS v3 #37 - FB
One day.
AVENGERS v3 #36
The same night as A3 37-FB. We see more alien roundup here, shortly after MAXSEC 3 (37-40). We see topical bare trees and
no snow in New York.
MARVEL KNIGHTS #7
One day, shortly after MK 6. There are snow flurries in New York. The flurries may be the same as those in A3 37 and may
signal the beginning of the snowstorm in T2 31.
MARVEL KNIGHTS #8
The same night as MK 7.
MARVEL KNIGHTS #9
The same night as MK 8. With the help of Dr. Strange, the Marvel Knights defeat Nightmare and capture the Punisher. The
Cloak power is cast from Tyrone.
THOR v2 #31
Given the snow flurries of MK 7, I place T2 31-32 later on the night of MK 7-9. Jake Olson remarks that it is too early for snow
in New York, and indeed, the snow is the result of the casket of ancient winters. Hogun is recovered from the grave injuries he
sustained in T2 29, which I estimate occurred a month earlier.
THOR v3 #32 (1-21)
The same night as T2 31. Given that the end of T2 32 leads up to the death of Odin, Thor must make his many appearances in
other titles during a gap between pages 21 and 22 of T2 32.
Friday, September 21
AVENGERS v3 #37
The morning after A3 36. We see light snow falling in New York - perhaps a residual effect of the casket of ancient winters in
T2 31.
MARVEL KNIGHTS #10
Probably the day after M/K 9, given that Tandy and Tyrone have just moved in with Natasha. The Punisher appears in court to
face a laundry list of charges. As he is transported to Ryker's, he escapes. Green grass and trees in New York.
CAPTAIN AMERICA & THE FALCON v2 #4 - FB (10-11)
One day, shortly after 9-11. It cannot be "three years" before CA&F 4, but rather two years before. The Anti-Cap is born at a
California naval compound.
Saturday, September 22
IRON MAN v3 #37 - FB

One day, "a few months" after ASM2 13. According to the MCP, Spidey appears here after W2 157.
SPIDER-MAN: THE MYSTERIO MANIFESTO #2
The same day as SM:MM 1.
SPIDER-MAN: THE MYSTERIO MANIFESTO #3
The same day as SM:MM 2.
Tuesday, September 25
X-MEN UNLIMITED #31/3
Early one morning. The MCP places this story after MAXSEC 1-FB (7-8). X-Man frees a woman who turns to gold. Full
moon.
X-FORCE #117 - FB (7:3-7:5)
One day. Bloke takes out a Balkan terrorist group. XFO 117 refers to this event as having occurred "last year."
X-FORCE #117 - FB (8:3-8:5)
One day. Myles Alfred turns into Vivisector to handle some frat boys who pick on him. We see green trees at Harvard.
X-FORCE #117 - FB (9:5)
One day. Phat stops some thugs escaping in a car.
Wednesday, September 26
IRON MAN v3 #38 - FB (12/13:3-22)
One day, "days" after IM3 38-FB (7-12/13).
IRON MAN v3 #39 - FB
The same day as IM3 38-FB (12/13-22). We see bare trees in New York City, and the snow shown may be the residual effect of
the casket of ancient winters from T2 41-42, especially considering the green of upstate in IM38-FB.
IRON MAN v3 #40 - FB
The same day as IM3 39-FB.
IRON MAN v3 #37
The same night as IM3 40-FB.
IRON MAN v3 #38
The same night as IM3 37. It is "a few days" after IM3 38-FB (5-6).
IRON MAN v3 #39
The same night as IM3 38.
IRON MAN v3 #40 (1-20)
The same night as IM3 39. Tony Stark faces his demons in Ty Stone's virtual reality world, then he defeats Stone. It is "a few
weeks" before IM3 40 (21-22).
Thursday, September 27
DAREDEVIL v2 #20
One day, probably a week or two after DD2 20-FB. The story starts at the end of a trial that has probably taken several months,
or at least weeks. (In other words, it's probably been a long time since DD 15 ended). Matt and Foggy are defending a corporate
boss accused of racism. After listening reports about the trial on the news, DD heads out and thwarts a bank robbery, damaging a
guy's car in the process, then gets called to return to court. The trial ends in a verdict in his favor. He leaves the courthouse and
heads back to their law firm, where Foggy introduces their new legal assistant Elaine Kendrick. Matt and Foggy take note that
today is the day an old DD foe gets released from prison: the Jester. As the Jester is released from prison that day he dumps his
old costume. Matt is later on that day introduced to philanthropist Samuel Griggs, who wants to hire Matt as his lawyer to sue
Daredevil for damage he caused to his grenhouse in a tussle with two ninjas on "the night of the 8th." Matt and Foggy discuss
taking the case, knowing that the ninja fighter must have been a DD imposter. Matt says they better take the case, that way they
can investigate more thoroughly, and keep Griggs from going to another lawyer. Later that night Matt tries to decide before
going to sleep.
Friday, September 28
DAREDEVIL v2 #21 (1-3:1)
The day after DD2 20. Matt calls up Griggs to accept the offer to take the case and they agree on visiting the scene of the crime
on "Monday." Later that night Daredevil tries to figure out where to look for a Daredevil impersonator with no results. Foggy's
calendar says that it is "Friday, September 28."
Saturday, September 29
DAREDEVIL v2 #21 (3:2)
The day after DD2 21 (1-3). On a "Saturday night," DD still tries to figure out where to look for a Daredevil impersonator.
Sunday, September 30
DAREDEVIL v2 #21 (3:3)
The day after DD2 21 (3:2). On a "Sunday night," Daredevil can't find answers yet.
GENERATION X #63
One day, "six months" after GENX 63-FB. This story occurs after GENX 70. Green grass and trees in Massachusetts.
Monday, October 1
DAREDEVIL v2 #21 (3:4-11)
The day after DD2 21 (3:3). On a "Monday," Matt and Foggy travel out to Griggs mansion, to find it swarming with reporters.
Griggs has gone ahead and told the press of his plans to sue DD (much to Foggy and Matt's displeasure). Matt realizes they
can't issue a subpoena to appear in court to a superhero if they don''t know where he lives. He thinks the case will never go
forward. We see panels showing Black Widow, Kingpin, J. Jonah Jameson, and Peter Parker's reactions to the news coverage.
Spidey and the Widow are shocked, but Kingpin, Jameson and the Jester are pleased. Later that night DD helps a woman being
assaulted.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #25 (1-17:1)
One rainy night, after SM:RGG 3.
Tuesday, October 2
DAREDEVIL v2 #21 (12)
One day. Elaine calls Daredevil through the media to come forward "tomorrow morning" and be served in the matter of Griggs
versus Daredevil.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #25 (17:2-26)
The night of the day after ASM2 25 (1-17).
Wednesday, October 3
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #25 (21-40)
Early the morning after ASM2 25 (17-26). It is a "month" after ASM2 23, "two days" before PPSM2 25, and "weeks" before
ASM3 27.
DAREDEVIL v2 #21 (13-15)
The day after DD2 21 (12). Daredevil watches Elaine wait for him before a big crowd and decides not to show up, later at the
offices Matt wonders what insanity awaits "tomorrow."
Thursday, October 4
DAREDEVIL v2 #21 (16-17)
The day after DD2 21 (13-15). We see the Jester appear on television in the middle of the field of a Yankees game, calling DD
out, saying he is going to perform "tomorrow" at 2 PM, Merchant's Bank. He appears with a new costume here.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #25
One rainy night, "two days" ASM2 25 (27-40), during which time Spidey has been Norman's prisoner.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #26 (1-5)
The same night as PPSM2 25. The World Trade Center is shown here, but chronological analysis suggests that this is an error.
Friday, October 5
DAREDEVIL v2 #21 (18-22)
The day after DD2 21 (16-17). It is a "couple of years" before DD2 60 (1-21). Daredevil meets Jester at the bank to prevent the
robbery and catches him, the Jester turns around and surprises DD by handing him a subpoena.
DAREDEVIL v2 #22 (1-5:4)
The same day as DD2 21 (18-22). After receiving the subpoena, Daredevil heads back to his law office to see that the police
didn't bother to arrest the Jester. Matt and Foggy are mad when they learn that Elaine Kendrick was the one who hired the
Jester. She cites the fact that they needed unconventional methods if they were going to move a case forward. Now, they have
no choice but to go forward with the case. Then the guy whose car was damaged in DD2 20 shows up saying he might be a
witness. He states Daredevil damaged his car "last week." Since Matt Murdock is representing Samuel Griggs he must now find
a lawyer to represent Daredevil. Matt's hope is that they'll be able to settle this before it goes to court. But Griggs wants his day
in court badly.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #26 (6-22:5)
The day after ASM2 26 (1-5). It must be more than just "a couple of weeks" after PPSM2 16. Bare trees.
Saturday, October 6

The day after ASM2 26 (6-22).

One night with a full moon. Someone in the main story in PPSM2 26 refers to this flashback as having occurred "the other day."
Monday, October 8
WOLVERINE ANNUAL 2000
One day? I don't have this issue, so help would be appreciated. According to the MCP, this story occurs between W2 157 and
UX 388 (1-4). I'm sticking it on a day with a full moon, because chances are there's one in this story ;)
DEADPOOL v3 #50
One day?
DEADPOOL v3 #51 (1-8)
The same day as DP3 50. Deadpool and Kid Deadpool are on a stakeout. The Mercy Sisters get a visit from a school district rep.
Green grass and trees in New York. Full moon.
SPIDER-MAN: MARROW #1 - FB (6/7:3-19)
One night. The full moon may be the same as that shown in PPSM2 26-FB (3-5), which is Spidey's last appearance according to
Russ. ESU is in session and Sarah Rushman (Marrow) notes that she was taking a class there "last semester" (after UX 380),
when Peter Parker was "a grad student." Peter thinks to himself that he's just had a "good week with those Doc Ock photos;"
this may be a reference to an unpublished encounter. Peter makes a date with Sarah, but ends up battling Marrow instead.
X-MEN UNLIMITED #30/3
One night. While on a little vacation in what appears to be Texas, Rogue encounters an anti-mutant group fueled by the
propaganda of the Friends of Humanity. We see warm weather and a full moon.
Tuesday, October 9

The day after DP3 51 (1-8). It is Kid Deadpool's "eighteenth birthday." Copycat gets angry that Wade hasn't called her. Kid
Deadpool bombs a social club for baddies, then takes his leave of Deadpool. Green trees in New York. Full moon.
SPIDER-MAN: MARROW #1 - FB (20-34/35:3)
The day after SM:M 1-FB (6/7-19). Peter Parker guest lectures as a graduate student at ESU, so it must be a weekday. Sarah
and Peter go out for coffee and Sarah invites him to stay the night, but Peter is still occupied with the thought of M.J., who is
presumed dead. That night, Spider-Man encounters Director Sharon Carter and SHIELD, who is after Marrow, revealed to be a
rogue "captive" agent.
SPIDER-MAN: MARROW #1 (1)
SPIDER-MAN: MARROW #1 (2-3) ~ SPIDER-MAN: MARROW #1 (34/35:4)

SPIDER-MAN: MARROW #1 (34/35:6)
SPIDER-MAN: MARROW #1 (4:4-4:6)
SPIDER-MAN: MARROW #1 (34/35:7)

38).
Wednesday, October 10

The same day as A:TI@ 1-FB (1-2). When the Pentagon tracks the largest fragment to the Sudan, Sgt. Joseph Green is
dispatched to retrieve it. Green and his unit encounter a Hydra squad that is also after the fragment. The fragment turns out to be

subdue a Hydra agent and retrieve the other item. He discovers that the gauntlet is permanently bonded to his nervous system.

Saturday, October 27
MARVEL BOY #1
One day. After crash-landing on earth, Noh-Varr is captured by Dr. Midas and is examined at Midas' lab in New York. Noh-
Varr escapes and reconnoiters with Plex, his ship's artificial intelligence. A news report mentions Reed Richards' "latest voyage
to the newly-discovered Positive Zone." Newspaper headlines read "Rivera named series MVP" and "Yankee fans party"; in the
real world, newspapers announced the Yankees' World Series win and Mariano Rivera's MVP status on Thursday, October 28,
1999 - thus the placement of the end of baseball season here on this calendar; this would make the full moon topical.
MARVEL BOY #2
The same day as M/BOY 1. Convinced that earthlings destroyed his ship and killed his friends, Noh-Varr destroys the UN
building and other structures in midtown Manhattan. The Avengers and the FF are out of town. SHIELD sends the Bannermen,
a trio of super-soldier clones, to battle Noh-Varr, but they are defeated. Dum Dum Dugan is SHIELD director, so this issue
occurs before the return of Fury in CA3 45-FB (6-13).
Sunday, October 28
CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE CHOSEN #1 - FB (5:2)
One day. A terrorist attack puts a hole in the side of a U.S. naval ship.
Monday, October 29

One day, perhaps a few days after DD2 22 (5:7). Finally, DD meets a young, enthusiastic and honest lawyer named Kate
Vinokur. She only asks that he be able to pay her fees. They get along, and she accepts him as his lawyer. They decide to call a

The day after DD2 22 (6-10). Daredevil and Kate Vinokur appear before a camera crew together the next day to announce their
defense. DD leaves suddenly after hearing the sound of a burglar alarm thinking robbery and comes in crashing a building's

where J. Jonah Jameson criticizes DD. They decide to give Kate enough information to make sure she'll try to convince
Daredevil to settle.

Probably the day after DD2 22 (11-15). Kate talks Daredevil into settlement, Foggy calls Griggs and just when things seem
finally to be working out. Griggs pulls another stunt and announces on T.V. that if Daredevil will admit his guilt, and pay for the
repairs, he'll donate $50,000 to a "crippled children's society."
Thursday, November 1
DAREDEVIL v2 #23-FB
The day after DD2 22 (16-22). Kate Vinokur announces public response at three o'clock, Daredevil visits Black Panther at the
Wakandan Embassy (not Avengers Mansion).
DAREDEVIL v2 #23 (1-3)
The same day as DD2 23-FB. News reporting Griggs offered to drop his lawsuit "yesterday" also show an earlier statement from
DD's attorney to have a public response at "three o'clock" and DD visiting the Black Panther. Then DD arrives at the news
conference and agrees to give $100,000 to a "blind kids" society if Griggs drops the lawsuit. Griggs gets upset and wants
nothing but a trial now.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #27
One night, "weeks" after ASM2 25 (27-40). Bare trees in New York.
Friday, November 2
DAREDEVIL v2 #23 (4)
Probably the day after DD2 23 (1-3). Matt and Kate agree on a joint petition for the earliest possible trial date.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #35 (19-22)
One day, "two months" after PPSM2 35 (13-18). It is warm enough for short sleeves. It is some time before May, the month
when LaFronce's mother's lease runs out. Spidey does not appear.
GENERATION X #64
One day, shortly after GENX 63. It is a school day.
GENERATION X #65
The same day as GENX 64.
GENERATION X #66
The same day as GENX 65.
Saturday, November 3
X-MAN #70 (x-xx)
One day? Is this supposed to be six months after XM 70 (1-x)?
X-MAN #71
The same day as XM 70 (x-xx)? It is "30 years" after XM 71-FB. Nate offers to assist a mutant nun named Sister Perpetua who
sees visions of other earths. He enters her mind and sees heroes facing a threat named Qabiri. Nate and Perpetua enter this
world and Nate offers to help.
X-MAN #72
The same day as XM 71?
X-MAN #73
The same day as XM 72?
X-MAN #74 (1-21)
The same day as XM 73.
UNCANNY X-MEN #388 (1-4)
One day. Mystique appears here after XMF 6 (36). According to the MCP, Logan is here after X '00. The last presidential
election season was shown in UX 340 and XF 130, but these stories cannot have occurred four years before this point. (This
raises the issue of the greater frequency of presidential elections in the MU, an old subject of discussion on the posting board.)
References to "the new millennium" and "the cusp of the 21st century" must be topical.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #27
One night.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #28
The same night as PPSM2 27. Before ASM2 28.
Sunday, November 4
UNCANNY X-MEN #388 (5-24)
The day after UX 388 (1-4), "on the eve of the election." Green trees in Boston.
CABLE v2 #87
The same day as UX 388 (5-24).
BISHOP: THE LAST X-MAN #16
The same day as C2 87.
X-MEN v2 #108 (1-9)
The same night as B:LX 16.
SPIDER-MAN UNLIMITED v2 #6/2 (5:1-5:4)
One day. Augie gets in a fight in prison. According to a wall calendar, it is Sunday the 4th of a 30-day month.
Monday, November 5
X-MEN v2 #108 (10-23)
The day after X 108 (1-9). Right before a presidential election, Robert Kelly is assassinated and Moira MacTaggert dies.
DAREDEVIL v2 #23 (5)
Probably a few days after DD2 23 (4). Since DD2 21 (18-22) occurs on Friday, October 5th, and given the amount of time
passed after that, we figure this is not the same but the following month. A judge grants petition for a trial beginning with jury
selection "in two weeks, on the 19th."
BROTHERHOOD #1 (1-3)
Probably the same night as X 108 (10-23), since we see Hoffman reading the Daily Bugle with the headline, "Senator Kelly
Assassinated." Oswald bombs a Russian dance club and joins the Brotherhood of Orwell and Hoffman.
SPIDER-MAN: LIFELINE #1
One night. Lizard may appear here after SMF2 2/2.
SPIDER-MAN: LIFELINE #2
The same night as SM:L 1. Full moon.
SPIDER-MAN: LIFELINE #3 (1-9:4)
The same night as SM:L 2.
Tuesday, November 6: Election Day
GENERATION X #74 (1-4)
Early the morning after X 108 (10-23), Husk exercises while Banshee and White Queen awaken.
GENERATION X #72 (1-4)
The same morning as GENX 74 (1-4), Banshee and M practice fighting without powers.
GENERATION X #71 (1-6)
The same morning as GENX 72 (1-4), Chamber wakes up, Skin prepares for his run, and they meet the girls in the kitchen and
discuss their new outfits.
GENERATION X #73 (1-7)
The same morning as GENX 71 (1-6), Skin jogs and Banshee gets the news of Moira's death. Skin and an upset Banshee head to
Boston.
GENERATION X #71 (7)
The same day as GENX 73 (1-7), Chamber, Jubilee and M drive into New York City.
GENERATION X #72 (5-6)
The three arrive, get out of the car, and make plans to meet back.
GENERATION X #71 (8-18)
Chamber meets a deaf girl, Rana, with whom he telepathically talks. They empathize with each other's cut-off contact with the
rest of the world.
GENERATION X #72 (7-20)
Jubilee and M shop, then get into a situation with gunmen on the subway.
GENERATION X #73 (8-18)
Banshee tells Skin about Moira, then is kidnapped by his old spy buddies. Looking through his palm-pilot, they force him to
reveal a password for security access to the Academy.
GENERATION X #74 (5-6)
Husk, sitting at home, receives an incorrect password from Banshee's palm-pilot and locks him out of the system.
GENERATION X #73 (19-22)
Locked out of the system, the spies become furious, but Skin saves Banshee in a stolen car.
GENERATION X #74 (8-17)
The power goes down at the Academy, and Husk sees ghosts of former students, who direct her to a hidden letter.
GENERATION X #71 (19-20)
In New York, Chamber and Rana walk by the subway, which is cordoned off with reports of mutant girls. Rana asks to see him
again.
GENERATION X #72 (21-22)
M and Jubilee, having jumped off the subway car, calm down and go to meet Chamber.
GENERATION X #71 (21-22)
Chamber meets the girls and deliberately drops Rana's number out the car window on the way home, afraid to expose her to the
dangers of mutant life.
GENERATION X #74 (18-22)
Chamber, M and Jubilee arrive home from New York and remove the security lockout. Husk leaves and delivers the note to the
old woman for whom it was intended so long ago. There are many indications in GENX 71-74 that it is an autumn day.
SPIDER-MAN: LIFELINE #3 (9:5-24)
The day after SM:L 3 (1-9). This segment occurs before ASM2 28.
BROTHERHOOD #1 (4-22)
The day after BHOOD 1 (1-3). Orwell and Hoffman send Fagin to a school to recruit Asher, who discovers he's a mutant. It is a
school day, a weekday before Friday (and likely before Thursday, since Friday is not referenced as tomorrow). We see green
grass and trees.
BROTHERHOOD #2 (1-10)
The same night as BHOOD 1 (4-22). Asher tries to cope with the revelation that he's a mutant, as an attempt to bring down a
Brotherhood stronghold in Bogota fails. The waxing crescent moon may be topical.
Wednesday, November 7
BROTHERHOOD #2 (11-23)
The day after BHOOD 2 (1-10). A school day, during which Asher tells some would-be student terrorists Harold and Joel he's a
mutant. We see green grass and trees here. The Brotherhood blows up a building at Barksdale Air Force Base.
BROTHERHOOD #3 (1-5)
The same day as BHOOD 2 (11-23). Harold and Joel add Asher to their list of targets who will die "tomorrow" (but they mean
two days from now, the "Friday" they scheduled in BHOOD 1). Fagin takes Asher to a mutie club. Hoffman punishes a betrayer
of the Brotherhood.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #28
One day. It is after PPSM2 28 and SM:L 3 and "almost six months" after ASM2 13.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #29
The same night as ASM2 28. Full moon, perhaps the same one as in SM:L 2. If so, this requires a slight reshuffling of Russ'
order of Spidey appearances, which I don't believe would cause any problems.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #29
The same rainy night as ASM2 29. This issue occurs a "week" before ASM '01.
X-MAN #74 (22)
One night with a full moon. X-Man visits Idris, now Sister Perpetua, in a church.
Thursday, November 8
BROTHERHOOD #3 (6-7)
The day after BHOOD 3 (1-5). Asher has spent the previous night losing his virginity with Mari. He goes home later that
evening.
X-MAN #75
One day. Green grass and trees in Kansas.
Friday, November 9
BROTHERHOOD #3 (8-24)
The day after BHOOD 3 (6-7). A school day, the "Friday" mentioned in BHOOD 1. Things come to a head at Asher's school as
the student terrorists strike and Asher publicizes his mutant state and joins the Brotherhood. We see green grass and trees.
UNCANNY X-MEN #389 - FB (4)
The day of Moira's funeral, so it is probably a few days after X 108 (10-23). It is "a raw and bitter day in Scotland" with snow
on the ground. I theorize that Cable and Jean are at the funeral behind the scenes. It is shortly before UX 389.
CABLE v2 #88 (1-6)
I have this issue starting the same day as Moira's funeral, with snow in Scotland. That would support my theory about Cable
actually attending the funeral, then lingering after. And with Storm's presence here, it's easier to deal with than having Storm
leave and return to Scotland later to be with Cable. We see Cyclops' visor around Cable's neck, even though we saw him return
the visor to Scott in X:SFC 4; perhaps Scott got the new model visor and gave the old one back to Cable in thanks. It is "forty-
eight hours" before C2 88 (7-22).
Saturday, November 10
EXCALIBUR v2 #1 - FB
One day, "a fortnight" before XCAL2 1 (6-24). Mastermind sends hordes of strange creatures against Otherworld and makes it
appear that Roma is behind the attack.
WOLVERINE v2 #158
I don't have this issue, but I'm going with Russ and Jeph on placement here. Temporal references anyone?
Sunday, November 11
CABLE v2 #88 (7-22)
One day, "forty-eight hours" after C2 88 (1-6). The Dark Sisterhood observe Nathan as he goes to a movie with Irene in New
York, where we see snow and bare trees. Then Nightcrawler and Storm help Nathan deal with Moira's death.
GAMBIT v3 #24
One day. New Orleans is not overrun by the Ego-spore and there is no evidence of damage or cleanup from that incident, so this
issue must occur a while after GAM3 23. New Sun attacks Gambit after watching Gambit for months. Green trees are shown.
Monday, November 12
DAREDEVIL v2 #23 (6-8)
Probably the Monday of the week following DD2 23 (5). Matt has to figure out what Griggs saw or didn't see that night, to
prevent this from going to court, and him perjuring himself. Elaine finds out that Griggs, a married man, has been seeing an
"extracurricular girlfriend." Matt learns later that night from Grigg's adulterous lover that she saw him get out of their bed the
night of the "DD attack," leave their love-shack without explanation, and head home. Matt decides they need to pay another visit
to Griggs.
Tuesday, November 13
UNCANNY X-MEN #389
One day, shortly after UX 389-FB (4). Professor X misses Moira. Cecilia Reyes fights her Rave addiction. Gambit is tempted
to kill Mystique, who is recovering in custody in a hospital; after Mystique recovers, she presumably is turned over to SHIELD,
in whose custody we see her next in XU 48/2. This issue must occur before X:D 1. According to the MCP, this story occurs
before XCAL2 1 (1-5).
DAREDEVIL v2 #23 (9-10:4)
Probably the day after DD2 23 (6-8). Griggs asks to leave his lover out of the case, he truly believes he wasn't with her the night
of the 8th. Suspecting something, Matt tells Griggs they need corroborating evidence from someone else who saw the events of
the "DD attack."
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL 2001 (1-37)
One day, a "week" after PPSM2 29. According to Russ, this issue occurs before TW 1. Aunt May makes a remark about Anna
Watson accidentally voting for the wrong person (unnamed) instead of Al Gore. This, and the reference to chads, are obviously
nods to the "real-world" presidential election of 2000, and suggest that this story occurs after the November election. We see a
"nice evening, a lot warmer than you'd expect for this time of year" - indeed, M.J. wears a short skirt and short sleeves and Peter
wears a jacket. Peter moves out of Randy's apartment and goes with M.J. to Aunt May's. Peter's and M.J.'s reunion bliss is
interrupted by Peter's call to duty to deal with some terrorists as Spider-Man. Peter and M.J. separate.
Wednesday, November 14
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL 2001 (38)
Early the morning after ASM '01 (1-37). It is "sunrise," and Peter has wandered around the city all night after M.J.'s departure.
X-MEN UNLIMITED #33/6
One day. Sabretooth kills, kidnaps, and drives a cab. He has long hair here, so this story occurs before his forced recruitment
into Weapon X in W2 160. Although out of publication order, I've placed Sabretooth here after XU 35.
Thursday, November 15
DAREDEVIL v2 #23 (10:5-22)
One day, "two days" after DD2 23 (9-10), an old man appears at Murdock's law firm, saying that he saw DD and two ninjas
jumping across the street attacking each other, heading in the direction of Griggs' house. Matt can tell he's not lying. Matt does
some investigating, checking Griggs' appointment book starting from "Tuesday," when they told him they needed a witness, until
this morning, and learns that both Griggs and the old man attend the same psychiatrist, Arnold Quaid. In Quaid's office, he finds
sitting behind the desk an old foe of DD's, the Matador, who goes on to explain the powers of mind control. DD immediately
places him under citizen's arrest and drags him down to Griggs' office. He breaks into one of Griggs staff meetings and demands
Matador confess to his crime. Matador says he has no idea what DD is talking about, and that he's reformed. He says he was on
his way to a job interview when DD dragged him in here off the street. DD can tell he believes what he's saying. DD realizes
that Matador was being mind-controlled as well. Griggs, meanwhile, has all this on tape from the security cameras in his office.
He's succeeding in making DD out to be a fool.
Friday, November 16
AMAZING FANTASY v2 #10/2 - FB (5:4)
One day, a "few months" after AAF2 10/2-FB (5:3). Nina Price gets a letter from her mother, who she hasn't seen since she was
12 years old. The letter informs her of her family curse.
Saturday, November 17
DAREDEVIL v2 #24 (1-5)
One day, probably two days after DD2 23 (10-22). Dr. Quaid sends a self-destructive letter to Daredevil. Since DD can't locate
Quaid, the trial's going to have to go forward. Jury selection is said to begin "the day after tomorrow."
Sunday, November 18
DAREDEVIL v2 #24 (6-8)
The day after DD2 24 (1-5). Since Griggs won't give Dr. Quaid's phone number, Matt asks just for Quaid to call him. Later
Griggs tell Matt that Quaid is going to call him as requested. Jury selection said to begin "tomorrow."
Monday, November 19
DAREDEVIL v2 #24 (9-14)
The day after DD2 24 (6-8). Jury selection for trial of Daredevil takes place. "Dr. Quaid" calls Matt but leaves no trace. The
first day of the trial is said to happen "tomorrow." Short-sleeve weather in Manhattan.
WOLVERINE v2 #159
One day? Rogue appears here before she develops optic blasts, so W2 159-161 must occur before X 109.
WOLVERINE v2 #160
The same night as W2 159. Sabretooth is inducted into Weapon X, so this story occurs after XU 33/6. Logan battles Blok and T
& A, then at "8:58 PM," he arrives at Mr. X's warehouse. Mr. X challenges Logan to a fight and wins.
Tuesday, November 20
WOLVERINE v2 #161
The day after W2 160. Wolverine awakens at breakfast at one of Mr. X's island getaways. Mr. X tells Logan his story, then they
battle. Logan is sent off the island in a raft, and he and Nightcrawler return to the island to find Mr. X's complex gone.
DAREDEVIL v2 #24 (15-19:8)
The day after DD2 24 (9-14). Murdock can t be in two places at once, so he shows up in court as Griggs' lawyer and Peter
Parker shows up as Daredevil. As they sit down for trial, Kate Vinokur questions Peter as being the real DD. Spidey tells her to
just go with it.
DAREDEVIL v2 #24-FB (20-21)
Day 1 of the trial takes place as opening statements are made. "Daredevil" (Peter Parker) remains calm. Foggy promises to show
more evidence "tomorrow." These scenes are said to have happened "today" in the TV news shown in DD2 24 (19:9-22).
DAREDEVIL v2 #24 (19:9-22)
Kate Vinokur is watching the news about day 1 of the trial of Daredevil, and talks to DD on the phone asking who was the guy
sitting next to her all day. He tells her to go with it and trust him. He mentions his cross-examination to begin "the day after
tomorrow" (he must be forgetting that the day after tomorrow will be Thanksgiving and the jury wouldn't work, he must mean
the next court day following tomorrow).
Wednesday, November 21
DAREDEVIL v2 #25-FB (1:3-1:4)
The day after DD2 24 (19-22). The trial wraps up on its second day as Foggy presents damning evidence (the tape showing DD
confronting Griggs in his private office asserting Griggs had been hypnotized by the Matador) and "Daredevil" (Peter Parker
under the costume) denies involvement in the damage to Griggs' greenhouse.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #17
One day. Thor makes the first of his many guest appearances between the last two pages of T2 32 here. Old, one-armed Rick
emerges from this storyline. There is snow in Norway.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #18
The same day as CM5 17.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #19
The same day as CM5 18.
Thursday, November 22: Thanksgiving Day
DAREDEVIL v2 #25 (1)
A TV newsman reports the highlights of Day 2 of the trial of DD (those of DD2 25-FB) as happening "today" and announces
Daredevil's cross-examination by Foggy Nelson to begin "tomorrow." This must be a midnight newscast for the reporter to
present the news as happening "today." forgetting that technically it is already another day. It will be Thanksgiving this day and
the court wouldn't work, so the reporter must have realized his mistake to announce correctly this time that DD's
cross-examination begins "tomorrow at 9 A.M."
4 #2 - FB (20:1)
One day. Ben has prepared what appears to be a Thanksgiving turkey for Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Franklin.
UNCANNY X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (1-10)
One day. At a school in Tennessee, where we see green grass and trees, a man opens fire on a group of students in what the
media calls "The Thanksgiving Day Massacre." Amy Stringer is shot in the melee.
Friday, November 23
EXCALIBUR v2 #1 (1-5)
One early morning with a waxing crescent moon. Brian Braddock has a nightmare, just as he's had for "months." Meggan
places a call to Psylocke. Green grass and trees in England.
UNCANNY X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (11-12)
The morning after UX '00 (1-10). Amy Stringer awakens in a hospital and discovers she is blind. It is "a few weeks" before UX
'01 (27-28).
DAREDEVIL v2 #25 (2-16)
The day after DD2 25 (1). Peter Parker shows up again as DD, but Matt doesn't show up to defend Griggs. Foggy to handles the
case, he asks "DD" if he met Griggs at his office "last Wednesday" (which should be a mistake by Foggy since that happened on
a Thursday "two days after Tuesday") and "DD" denies it. They're an hour into the trial when Matt and his legal assistant Elaine
Kendrick show up. Murdock says he got a phone call from someone asking him to bring a video camera to a street corner at 9:05
A.M. He sent Elaine down there with a camera, and Daredevil comes swinging by (Matt had this set up, so Elaine would catch
him on camera around a clock display showing the time and "today's date." The time is shown to be 9:07 and the date seems to
read 11/30/01, the month must be right but the day can't be since it's only been four days since "jury selection on the 19th."
Murdock asks this case to be dismissed, since there is someone else out there as Daredevil. Then, another DD shows up - a guy
named Terrence Hillman, saying he's the real Daredevil and pulling off his hood to reveal his face. He says he was the one who
busted up Griggs' greenhouse and gives a check for the damages, then explains he was training the other DD to be the new
Daredevil because he is retiring. The judge declares a mistrial. Leaving court, Hillman is asked if it was him who threatened
Griggs "last week" in his office and he declines to answer. Jameson appears on TV. Later that day DD explains to Kate that he
had a friend stand in as DD at the trial, but the Terrance guy bursting through the window wasn't his idea. That night, DD visits
Terrance who explains he just wanted to help. He figured he'd get some publicity as "the man behind the mask" and this would
let the real DD continue to act as a superhero. DD warns him the publicity will put him in danger, but leaves him alone.
Saturday, November 24
DAREDEVIL v2 #25 (17-22)
The day after DD2 25 (2-16). As he discusses recent events with Spidey, DD learns he's got a letter from "Arnold Quaid" telling
him it's time they met. DD goes to the address in the letter and finds the Ringmaster, who explains he's the guy behind it all, he
just wanted to test a new mind control device. Ringmaster then sends DD outside through a trap door. DD realizes there is no
law against implanting false memories, so he lets it be. DD pays one last visit to his lawyer Kate. They had been feeling an
attraction shortly after they met, but Kate realizes that since she can never know who's under the mask she wants nothing more to
do with him. Later Matt and Foggy have a few beers in a bar, celebrating the "victory." There are no windows open at the bar
where Matt and Foggy drink, so it could be snowing outside, as it is seen this night in Tennessee in UX '00 (13-14).
EXCALIBUR v2 #1 (6-24)
The day after XCAL2 1 (1-5). As Brian runs some tests on the Black Knight, Psylocke arrives, and the gang is attacked by
interdimensional shock troops led by Widget. The troops retreat, leaving behind their victim, Captain U.K, who asks Brian and
company to come to Otherworld to stop what they believe is an insane Roma. It is "a fortnight" after XCAL 1-FB. Green grass
and trees in England.
EXCALIBUR v2 #2
The same day as XCAL2 1 (6-24). Brian, Meggan, Psylocke, Black Knight, and Captain UK arrive in Otherworld and
reconnoiter with Crusader X. Brian goes off on Strider to search for the sword Excalibur and encounters first Sir Benedict, then
a solid light projection resembling his own father.
EXCALIBUR v2 #3
The same day as XCAL2 2. Brian learns some things about his life from the projection and finds Excalibur, only to encounter
the true villain, Mastermind. Brian's allies discover an imprisoned Roma and are defeated by Mastermind's Warpies. The
waning crescent moon in Otherworld has no bearing on calendar placement on Earth-616.
EXCALIBUR v2 #4
The same day as XCAL2 3. The captured heroes are rescued by Sir Benedict and battle the Warpies. Mastermind is defeated
and Roma hands Excalibur to Brian, who becomes the new omniversal guardian. Brian and Meggan remain on Otherworld and
Psylocke and Black Knight return to earth. Dane notes that he "should probably get back to the Avengers" because he's "been
away too long." According to the MCP, this story occurs before X 109.
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #1
One day. Spidey stops the Rhino from robbing a bank while being watched by the Thousand. Then Peter (who is not staying at
his aunt's anymore; he must have found an apartment quickly following ASM '01) visits Aunt May to do his laundry (around
1:25 PM) where May mentions he's going out with a model "tonight," later he drops by the Bugle (at 3:40 PM) to sell the
pictures from his morning fight. Later that night, at empty Bugle offices, the Thousand kills Miss Patton to take her body.
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #2 (1-3)
The same night as TW 1. Peter attends the Fashion Awards party with a model named Skye, with whom Peter may have an
acquaintance through M.J.; this should be a platonic evening, as it's so soon after ASM '01, and nothing suggests a romantic
nature to the evening.
UNCANNY X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (13-14)
One night. Amy Stringer is having trouble coping with her fate. There are "thirty shopping days till Christmas," so it must be
Saturday, November 24. We see "the first snow of the season" in Tennessee. This would mean that the unnaturally early snow
released by the casket of ancient winters in T2 31 in New York likely occurs before this point.
Sunday, November 25
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #2 (4-22)
"Three hours" after getting to the Fashion Awards party (probably past midnight at this point), Peter leaves the party and takes
the Thousand (in Miss Patton's body) to his new apartment (into which he moved after separating from Mary Jane in ASM '01;
this is not the same apartment as the one first seen in PPSM2 30) where the Thousand defeats Spidey. Rain.
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #3
The same early morning as the end of TW 2. The Thousand takes the body of Mr. Ambrose (the super of Peter's new apartment),
fights Spidey and is finally defeated. Peter then goes to stay to his aunt's because of the destruction to his apartment caused by
fighting the Thousand. Presumably the same early morning Spidey goes out to patrol the city, as what's left of the Thousand gets
killed inadvertently by a passer-by. Green trees in Queens. Waning crescent moon.
X-MEN UNLIMITED #47 - FB
One night. On a mission of vague origin, Psylocke battles a "cyber-enhanced, jacked-up, wired-t'-hell-and'-back kinda
goofball." I'm placing this between UX 389 and XU 47 on the assumption that this is a recent adventure relative to XU 47, and
after XCAL2 4 based on publication order.
Monday, November 26
MUTIES #1 (1-8)
One school day. Jared is picked on at school and puts up with his abusive father. We see snow and bare trees and coat and
mitten weather in Pittsburgh.
MARVEL BOY #3 - FB
One day, long enough after M/BOY 2 for Hexus to have become the Brand Hex Corporation and to have started recruiting
employees. It is "one month" before M/BOY 3 (4-19).
Tuesday, November 27
MUTIES #1 (9-10)
The day after MUT 1 (1-8). It is another school day, and "reports are due one week from Friday." Dunk gets Jared to do his
report for him. Snow and coat weather in Pittsburgh.
Wednesday, November 28
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #20
One day. Rick Jones is transported to Avengers Forever in this issue.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #21 (1-21)
The same night as CM5 20. Captain Marvel and Moondragon defeat the Maha Yogi at Marlo's comic shop in Los Angeles,
where we see green trees.
Thursday, November 29
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #21 (22)
The day after CM5 21 (1-21). Mordecai Boggs arranges a wrestling contract for the Bane of Beowulf.
MUTIES #1 (11)
One night, "three nights" after MUT 1 (9-10). Jared finishes Dunk's report. It is "a few days" before MUT 1 (12).
Friday, November 30
MUTIES #2 (1-9)
One day. In Chiba, Japan, Seiji endures another day witnessing the abuse his mother receives from his stepfather after he comes
home from work.
MUTIES #3 (1-6:5)
One school day in Uganda. A band of rebels kills Riek Bukenya's teacher and forces the children on a hazardous journey.
Saturday, December 1
MUTIES #2 (10-24)
The day after MUT 2 (1-9). It is likely a Saturday, as Seiji's stepfather doesn't go to work. After Seiji's stepfather discovers his
mutant power, Seiji uses those powers to fight his stepfather. As a result, the stepfather is killed and Seiji ends up in a hospital,
paralyzed.
MUTIES #3 (6:6-9:1)
The day after MUT 3 (1-6). Riek is forced by the rebels to train to be a soldier and his ear is cut off for insubordination. It is
"six weeks" before MUT 3 (10-13).
X-MEN UNLIMITED #47
One night, perhaps on a weekend. Logan and Psylocke trade war stories over a few beers in a bar. This story likely occurs
before Betsey leaves with the X-Treme team, and so probably before X 109. I'm assuming that this story occurs shortly after XU
47-FB and that Logan and Betsey are catching up on recent events since UX 389. Perhaps Betts also related her adventure in
XCAL2 1-4 to Logan this night.
Sunday, December 2
CAPTAIN AMERICA v3 #37
One day, at least "several days" after CA '00. It is "weeks" before CA3 41. Snow flurries.
CAPTAIN AMERICA v3 #38
The same day as CA3 37, "a few days" before CA3 39-FB. Snow.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #30
One day. After his previous apartment gets destroyed by his fight with the Thousand in TW 2-3, Peter is now relocated, perhaps
very quickly if the new apartment happens to be in the same building as the old one. He has moved into another new apartment,
shown here for the first time, given the way the new place is played up (introduced to the reader), so that would place these issues
before ASM2 30. This is confirmed by the empty bookshelves and the answering machine placed on a moving box. Randy, Jill
and Glory have probably helped Peter move a few days before this issue (since Peter already knows Caryn) and they play games
as a way of having a "house-warming" party. Caryn is first seen in this issue, but her and Peter have already met. We see a hot
"humid" day for which air conditioning is required, but this may be topical. Peter's answering machine says he's "still settling
into his new digs." Peter says he's "not much of a baseball fan," but this isn't true; given the placement of this issue, the
reference may actually be to football or basketball. It's "Sunday," "3:00PM" when Peter leaves his apartment and already a "nice
night" (that looks like an early evening) just before Spidey battles Fusion, a villain who blames Spider-Man for his child's death
and appears here for the first time. The encounter ends in an office building explosion that rocks downtown Manhattan killing
300 people.
Monday, December 3
MUTIES #1 (13)
One day, "a few days" after MUT 1 (12). On a school day, Jared hands Dunk a disk with his report on it. It is basketball season
at school.
Tuesday. December 4
NEW MUTANTS v2 #1 (1-3)
One "December" day, probably a few days before NM2 1 (4). Sofia Mantega's mother is killed in a protest in Caracas,
Venezuela, where we see green grass and trees.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #31
One day. Peter's scratches from the explosion in PPSM2 30 are shown as he showers. Peter's TV and answering machine are
still on moving boxes. It's "afternoon" when Caryn asks Peter to watch Barker "for a couple of days" while she goes to Vegas.
NY News broadcasts a videotape of Fusion, who refers to the explosion in PPSM2 30 as "recent," so this issue is not necessarily
the same day as the previous issue. Indeed, Peter has come to terms with the 300 deaths from the explosion and refuses to blame
himself. Fusion's videotape spurs Peter to action, as he does research at the Midtown Public Library (so it's not Sunday) and
discovers where to find Fusion. He finds the villain, battles him, and is defeated.
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #32
The same day as PPSM2 31, Fusion takes Spidey to his place, where Spidey figures out and overcomes Fusion's power of
suggestion and defeats him. Then he goes home and feeds Barker.
UNCANNY X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (15-19)
One night. Professor X detects an elusive, powerful presence with Cerebro. Cable is present. There are "twenty shopping days
till Christmas," so it must be December 4. Snow and full moon.
Wednesday, December 5
CAPTAIN AMERICA v3 #39 - FB
One day.
CAPTAIN AMERICA v3 #39
The same day as CA3 39-FB. It is "a few days" after CA3 38. Bare trees, and snow. Full moon.
GAMBIT v3 #25 (12-39)
One night, "a few days" before GAM3 25 (40). Gambit has had time since GAM3 24 to recover from the severe burnout his
powers suffered during his battle with New Sun. Gambit fights and defeats Abrian Ducreste. Full moon.
Thursday, December 6
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #30 (1-4)
One night, Spider-Man goes out on rounds after not answering his aunt's phone call (Peter's answering machine has not changed
from PPSM2 30-31, books are in a bookcase and the phone is on a table). Probably earlier this day or the following day Peter
gives Barker back to Caryn with apparently no chance for her to thank him. Full moon.
Friday, December 7
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #30 (5-11)
The day after ASM2 30 (1-4). After taking his ire out on a building scheduled for demolition, Peter visits his old high school .
There he meets Joey, a kid being abused by three other students, and Kyle Jacoby, a teacher.
NEW MUTANTS v2 #1 (4)
One day, probably a few days after NM2 1 (1-3). Sofia attends her mother's funeral.
MUTIES #1 (13-17)
It is the Friday of the week after MUT 1 (9-10), as the reports are due. The teacher assigns another report "due two weeks from
today" (perhaps a semester-end paper). Jared asks Dunk for help but Dunk rebuffs him. Basketball season and coat weather in
Pittsburgh.
Saturday, December 8
GAMBIT v3 #25 (40)
One day, "a few days" after GAM3 25 (12-39). Remy spends time with Minnie Mastiff.
Sunday, December 9
IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN #11 - FB (6:2)
One day. Mitch Carson cocks a handgun.
Monday, December 10
MUTIES #1 (18-23)
One day, probably the next school day after NM 1 (13-17). Jared snaps and shoots Dunk at school. In the melee, Dunk is
revealed to be a mutant and is killed; Kate, a girl Jared likes, is also killed. Jared is arrested. Snow and coat weather in
Pittsburgh.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #30 (12-22)
One day. This segment probably occurs after SMIV (14-22). Spider-Man taunts students who abused Joey, then meets Ezekiel
Simms (first seen in this issue). Dex pays to keep Morlun's ship at the docks, Morlun (a human vampire, first seen in this issue)
states they'll go in search of the slain German hero's replacement "tomorrow."
Tuesday, December 11
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #31
The day after ASM2 30 (12-22), since Peter makes reference to having met Ezekiel "last night." Morlun detects Spidey for the
first time. Peter's visit to his old high school is noted as having occurred "the other day," not yesterday (suggesting that a gap
exists between pages 11 and 12 of ASM2 30). It is a school day. Peter applies for a job as a substitute teacher when a student
with a gun goes nuts inside the school being later stopped by Spider-Man with Joey's help, then the science teacher quits and
Pete announces that he's the new science teacher; we don t see him get offered the job, although that may have occurred between
pages 20 and 21 or Peter might have said it knowing it's almost a sure thing he'll get the job seeing how the last science teacher
just quit. It is "June" in the calendar hanging on Aunt May's kitchen, but this should be topical.
Wednesday, December 12
NEW MUTANTS v2 #1 (5-7)
One day, "three weeks" before NM2 1 (8-9). Sofia arrives in Colorado to live with her father, "only a year" before NX 1.
MARVEL BOY #3 (4-19)
One day, "one month" after M/BOY 3-FB. Noh-Varr is told that Hexus has escaped the Marvel's Concept Dungeon. Noh-Varr
battles Hexus and finds a way to defeat it.
Thursday, December 13
MARVEL BOY #3 (20-22)
The morning after M/BOY 3 (4-19). Brand Hex goes bankrupt.
MARVEL BOY #4
The same morning as M/BOY 3. Dr. Midas and Oubliette pursue and subdue Noh-Varr, but Oubliette turns against her father
and flees to the tunnels under Manhattan with Noh-Varr.
MARVEL BOY #5
The same day as M/BOY 4. In the tunnels under Manhattan, Noh-Varr tells Oubliette his story. Dr. Midas goes underground in
pursuit of them.
MARVEL BOY #6 (1-21)
The same day as M/BOY 5. As Noh-Varr and Oubliette battle a creature sent by Dr. Midas, Midas bathes in the cosmic radiation
of Noh-Varr's ship and transforms into Cosmic Man. Noh-Varr battles Cosmic Man and Oubliette blows him up, then SHIELD
swoops in and takes Noh-Varr into custody.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #32 (1-20)
One day. At dawn Spidey catches an armed hostage taker as he states he's "almost late for work." Later Peter has his "first day"
teaching. ("Tomorrow" is noted as being a school day as well, it's probably Thursday and Ezekiel indicates that school will still
be in session for a week or two.) Peter and Ezekiel have dinner after school and. Morlun is still "preparing for the hunt" for
Spidey; he's taking his time "using whatever unholy rituals may be appropriate." Ezekiel warns peter about Morlun and offers
him sanctuary but Peter doesn't accept it. Principal Harrington (the Principal at Peter's school) is first seen in this issue, and
probably Jennifer Hardesty (a student) is first seen here as well. Peter states he was fifteen when bitten by the radioactive spider;
Ezekiel indicates being currently 57 years old.
X-MEN v2 #111 - FB (17:1-17:2)
One day, "several weeks" before X 111. Quicksilver is cast out of Genosha by Magneto. This expulsion may have nothing to do
with Magneto's plans after the Legacy Virus is cured. Pietro's role as "freedom fighter" probably finally just ticked Magnus off.
There is certainly enough time after M:DS 4 (21-22) for Pietro to have grown a beard.
Friday, December 14
UNCANNY X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (20-26)
One day. Professor X visits Amy Stringer. There are "ten shopping days till Christmas," so it must be December 14. Snow.
Saturday, December 15
UNCANNY X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (27)
Perhaps the day after UX '00 (20-26), as Charles tells Amy he'll read to her from Dickens "tonight again."
PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN v2 #34
One day. Aunt May buys Peter a set of salt and pepper shakers for his new home. There is no indication that she knows Peter's
secret identity; in fact, there is none of the tension we see between Peter and May during the time just after the discovery. Peter
notes that he has "a bunch of papers to mark for school" and that they're due Friday, so this issue occurs after ASM2 32 (1-20).
Caryn pops by to thank Peter for watching Barker (a favor documented in PPSM2 31). She takes Peter to a Funfair in Central
Park, which probably occurs on a weekend. We see carnival rides, green grass and trees, and mild weather, but the fair actually
may be a holiday carnival. Then Spider-Man battles a guy named William at the fair. Caryn meets Jill Stacy there. It is
"September" in a calendar hanging on a wall of the monastery where William was staying, but the calendar may be outdated.
Sunday, December 16
UNCANNY X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (28)
Perhaps the day after UX '00 (27). It is "a few weeks" after UX '01 (11-12) and "days" before UX '00 (15-19). Professor X
finishes the visit with Amy Stringer. It is not known if he and Cable actually return to New York at this point (in the van with
"NY" license plate shown here), considering that they're back in Tennessee "days" later, in UX '00 (29-39). It is snowing in
Tennessee.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #32 (21-23)
One night, shortly after ASM2 32 (1-20). Morlun, ready to deal with Spidey, creates carnage to draw him out, and his deeds
force a TV station to interrupt a nighttime baseball game to cover the story. The announcer notes that "it looks like once again
nobody is going to stop the Yankees from heading for the next World Series," but the reference should perhaps be to football and
the Super Bowl. Spider-Man and Morlun face each other at last.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #33 (1-21)
The same night as ASM2 32 (21-23). Spider-Man continues his battle with Morlun for "three hours," late enough for
Letterman's show to be on (perhaps a special prime-time program, as it can't be a weekday, given the "Tuesday" reference in
ASM2 37), then escapes.
Monday, December 17
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #33 (22)
Probably the day after ASM2 33 (1-21). After escaping Morlun (and probably resting hiding somewhere for a few hours)
Spider-Man sees Ezekiel looking for help.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #34
The same day as ASM2 33 (22). Ezekiel refuses to help Spidey, who then rejoins the battle with Morlun, calling in sick to
school during a break in the fighting an hour before class and after fighting for "nearly 12 hours straight." During another break,
he calls Aunt May, who offers to drop by Peter's apartment tomorrow morning to pick up Peter's spring clothes for the cleaner.
At the docks Ezekiel joins the fray and after Morlun feeds on him, falls to the water and is thought to be dead. Spidey escapes
Morlun, taking a blood sample to examine. That night, Spidey heads to a nuclear power plant. Aunt May saying out with the
winter clothes, in with the summer must be topical or she may have wanted to say it backwards.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #35 (1-15)
The same night as ASM2 34, Spidey gets another dose of radiation, Morlun finds Spider-Man at the power plant and they battle.
Morlun is vanquished by the radiation and Spidey heads back to the city. Full moon.
X-MEN UNLIMITED #31
One day. While shopping in Manhattan with Jean, Rogue encounters evil in the form of a child pornographer. We see people
wearing heavy coats, and I interpret the shopping trip as Christmas-related.
Tuesday, December 18
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #35 (16-23)
Early the morning after ASM2 35 (1-15). Back in the city (probably past midnight at this point), Spider-Man rests on a rooftop
and then figures out Ezekiel to be alive. Battered and bruised, he goes to bed and sleeps past 2:32 AM, 3:15 AM, and 4:21 AM.
Aunt May arrives bright and early to pick up Peter's cleaning as promised and she discovers Peter's secret as Pete still slumbers.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #37
The same day as ASM2 35 (16-23). May leaves Peter without waking him, a scrap of Spidey's costume tucked into her bag.
Next we see Peter teaching that same day, and after classes, he tries to call Aunt May, but she's been out wandering, trying to
make sense of her discovery, wearing the same clothes, with a scrap of Spidey's costume tucked into her bag. Peter mentions
that he tries to call May at the same time (3:35 PM) each day and she's always there; Anna Watson mentions that it is "Tuesday."
Early that evening, Spidey helps some school kids and returns to his apartment. May calls Peter and tells him they must talk.
Blowing leaves and full moon. Dominic, a colleague teacher of Peter's school is first seen in this issue. Full moon.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #38
The same night as ASM2 37. May arrives at Peter's apartment and they have "the conversation," which lasts a few hours. Then
May goes home and Spidey heads out on patrol. Apparently May doesn't give too much thought to Peter's secret for a while
after this issue until the Green Goblin's televised video of Gwen Stacy's death in PPSM2 45 (1-3).
Wednesday, December 19
UNCANNY X-MEN ANNUAL 2000 (29-39)
One day, "days" after UX '00 (28). In Tennessee, Amy Stringer takes her revenge on the shooter who took her sight at his trial
and Professor X stops her. Cable is present to take Xavier back to New York in a van, although we don't know that they actually
drive all the way back (telekinesis and all). Cable's presence means that this segment occurs before he cuts his ties to the X-Men
in C2 92 and probably before the Dark Sisterhood storyline begins in C2 89.
GENERATION M #5 - FB (5:2-5:3)
One day during "year two" of Minnie's life. Sally and Ken pose for a "Christmas picture at the mall" against a Santa backdrop.
Thursday, December 20
CABLE v2 #89
One day, probably after UX '00 (29-39). Cable is back in New York when he first hears about the Dark Sisterhood.
CABLE v2 #92 - FB (17-18)
The same day as C2 92-FB (12-15). It is "seven days" before C2 91 and "two weeks" before C2 92. Rachel finds out about a
Students Against Mutants rally "tonight." The green grass and trees at Rachel's college may be normal for the location, which I
assume is southern California.
CABLE v2 #93 - FB (18-19)
The same day as C92-FB (17-18). It is "two weeks" before C2 92 and "weeks" before C2 93. Rachel prepares to take action
against a deadly ruse in a Students Against Mutants rally at a college where we see green trees.
CABLE v2 #94 - FB (8-9)
The same night as C2 93-FB (18-19). It is "weeks" before C2 94.
Friday, December 21
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #22
One day.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #23
The same day as CM5 22.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #24
The same day as CM5 23.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #25
The same day as CM5 24. "It's almost Christmas."
CABLE v2 #94 - FB (10)
The day after C2 94-FB (8-9). Rachel leaves college, perhaps just before the holiday break. The green grass and trees at
Rachel's college may be normal for the location, which I assume is southern California, "thousands of miles" from Chicago.
CABLE v2 #90
One day.
CABLE v2 #91 - FB
The same day as C2 90.
CABLE v2 #92 - FB (1-2)
The same rainy night as C2 91-FB. It is "two weeks" before C2 92.
CABLE v2 #92 - FB (4-7)
The same night as C2 92-FB (1-2), "two weeks" before C2 92. Cable cuts his ties to the X-Men.
CABLE v2 #92 - FB (12-15)
The same night as C2 92-FB (4-7), "two weeks" before C2 92.
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #7 - FB (1)
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #7 - FB (7)
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #7 - FB (15:3-16:5)
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #8 - FB
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #9 - FB
On a rainy evening, taxi driver Charlie Clemmens crashes his cab against a police car that is chasing three bank thieves. Charlie
gets trapped as he tries to get out of his cab. Spider-Man stops one of the crooks trying to kill the police who's made it out of his
crashed patrol, as another crook throws the bank money down a sewer. The two cars start getting on fire and Spidey rescues
Charlie who informs him his son is trapped inside the cab. Once saved the boy accidentally unmasks Spidey. Thus, Charlie
learns Peter Parker is Spider-Man. The three bank robbers are eventually acquitted a few days later (as seen in a Bugle clip
Charlie keeps, in TW 7) as no evidence (the bank money) is found.
Saturday, December 22: Winter Solstice
X-MEN UNLIMITED #31/2
One day just before Christmas. There is snow. I have Cyclops back from presumed death by this point (just not officially
returned to the X-Men), so it is possible to have him shopping for presents here. And the cane for Kurt doesn't necessarily mean
that Kurt was injured - remember, Kurt's a showman!
Sunday, December 23
MUTIES #3 (9:2-9:3)
One day, during the "six weeks" following MUT 3 (6-9) and long enough after that segment for Riek to heal. Riek follows the
orders of the rebels. Green grass in Uganda.
[BTS]
Sue Richards attends her annual holiday party at Blue House, as noted in M/HOL'04 1/3.
Monday, December 24: Christmas Eve
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #26 - FB
One day.
CAPTAIN MARVEL v5 #26
The same day as CM5 26-FB, during the Christmas season. The temperature drops from 61 degrees to less than 49 degrees and
there is snow. Rick gets his arm and youth back on what may be Christmas Eve.
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #21
One day. Peter (who is missing M.J. terribly) leaves a party on Christmas Eve at the Bugle to do Jonah a favor and get a present
for Marla at a store where the Wasp, Sue Richards and Crystal are also going; there they find the Puppet Master mind-controlling
Medusa and Flash Thompson (disguised as Spidey), trying to rob the store. They catch the Puppet Master with the help of the
rest of the Fantastic Four (who are in classic '60s costumes for some reason). Later the Thing takes Alicia to visit the Puppet
Master in jail and after shopping, Peter, Flash and Jonah head to Jameson's house where Aunt May is waiting with M.J. (who
just got back after her plane was forced to land in Philly because of the snowstorm) and Marla Madison to celebrate Christmas.
Peter's saying it took "two months" to convince M.J. to come to spend the holidays shouldn't be too much of a exaggeration
since they've been apart for about a month and a half. Betty mentioning "Ned is waiting at home" is a mistake or maybe she
dedicates some time to Ned's memory every Christmas. Snow in New York.
X-MEN v2 #109
It is Christmas Eve of a "holiday weekend" (meaning an extended weekend incorporating both Christmas Eve and Christmas
Day). The X-Treme team forms here, but Colossus' "death" postpones their departure until G&B 1-FB. Cable is not here, as
he's cut his ties with the X-Men. There is snow in New York and Japan. According to the MCP, this story occurs after XCAL2
4. Because Logan gets a card from the still-absent Kitty here, this story must occur before X:D 1. The full moon here is
inconsistent with that in UX '00 pt. 3, as only twenty days separate the two scenes.
CAPTAIN AMERICA v3 #50 (1-21:3)
One day. Captain America battles the Absorbing Man on a snowy Christmas Eve in New York. A check is dated "Dec. 24, 01."
Tuesday, December 25: Christmas Day
CAPTAIN AMERICA v3 #50 (21:4-22)
The morning after CA3 50 (1-21). The Grunnells and Titania open their gifts on Christmas morning. Snow.
Wednesday, December 26
IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN #11 - FB (6:3)
One day. Mitch Carson is sworn in as a law enforcement officer.
Thursday, December 27
SPIDER-MAN/BLACK CAT: THE EVIL THAT MEN DO #5 - FB (17)
One day during "year five" of Francis and Garrison Klum's joint drug business. Given that Norman Osborn is in business, this
flashback must occur before PULSE 5 (1-12). Francis and Garrison talk business, then Garrison sexually abuses Francis.
Friday, December 28
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #5 (1-7)
One day. Rhino rescues Stella Pavlov, the kidnaped daughter of a gangster boss, and then is captured by Spider-Man. Stella
leaves with Romeo, an employee of her father.
CABLE v2 #91
One night, "seven days" after the flashbacks in C2 91.
CABLE v2 #92 - FB (10)
The same night as C2 91. Two generals are killed.
Saturday, December 29
CABLE v2 #92 - FB (9, 11)
The day after C2 91 and C2 92-FB (10). G.W. Bridge is transferred to Alaska. It is "one week" before C2 92.
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #5 (8-14)
The day after TG 5 (1-7). A guard gives the Rhino the paper with the news of his capture by Spidey, he gets mad and escapes a
high security prison (where we see Rocket Racer in custody). Once out, Rhino learns at the Mexican border lab where he got his
hide that they can't take it off without killing him. There they are experimenting on a monkey with increased intelligence. That
night he can't sleep and two hours later at the V-Bar, Romeo tells him his boss wants Rhino's help with Stella.
MUTIES #4 (1-11)
One night, probably a Saturday night, as "chuch" is "tomorrow." Jisa accompanies her boyfriend, gangbanger Laolo, to a funk
club, where a fight breaks out. Upon returning home, Jisa is disowned by her parents. She loses her virginity with Laolo then
goes to live with him. We see warm weather and a waxing crescent moon in Rio de Janiero. It is "three weeks" before MUT 4
(12-13).
Sunday, December 30
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #5 (15-20)
The rainy morning after TW 5 (8-14). Rhino meets Fyodor Rebrov, the gangster boss father of Stella and gets asked to watch
over her. It's raining when he sees her later but he leaves after she offends him. After taking out his rage running through walls
Rhino contemplates suicide on top of the Brooklyn Bridge but decides not do it. Green grass in New York.
Monday, December 31: New Year's Eve
SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #5 (21-22)
Probably the day after TW 5 (15-20). Rhino gets operated to get increased intelligence at the Mexican border lab.
