Monday, July 1

WEAPON X #0.5 - FB

Sauron attacks and drains a young couple on a night with a full moon. This is probably a taped segment that appears on one of

the Director's screens.

ELEKTRA v2 #8 (11-12)

One day. Elektra takes her second victim in Los Angeles. A bystander suggests he went to school that day, implying it is a

weekday.

PUNISHER v6 #21 (2-22)

One day during the week after PUN6 21 (1). The Punisher gets to one of Pearse and Seifert's raids before they do and burns

down the building. Seifert confesses that he is hopelessly in debt to crime lord Bobby Cestone and desperately needs the money.

The Punisher listens in to this conversation. Now he knows that Seifert is corrupt, whereas Pearse is merely a wife-beating

alcoholic. Seifert goes to see Leary. Leary agrees to give him until "the end of the week" to pay up. Fortunately, Big Pete has

disappeared , which has delayed the deal anyway. That evening, Punisher goes to see Fonseca again, and kills him. Pearse visits

his priest, Billy, and confesses to beating his wife. Billy encourages Pearse to quit the force; he believes that Pearse can't handle

the stress of the job. That night, Becky returns home. Pearse is drunk and beats her again. After she crawls out of the house,

Pearse considers suicide, but collapses in tears instead. The reference to the weather being "freezing" is probably topical.

DAREDEVIL v2 #36 (5-6:1)

One day, "three weeks" after DD2 36 (1-4). The Black Widow takes a cab to Matt's law office.

DAREDEVIL v2 #36 (6:2-6:4) ~ ALIAS #15 (1:1-1:3)

The same day as DD2 36 (5-6). It must be after CAGE2 5. The Black Widow pays a visit to Matt at his law office and Jessica

Jones and Luke Cage let her in.

ALIAS #15 (1:4-1:5)

The same day as DD2 36 (6). Natasha enters Matt's office and Jessica and Luke are silent.

DAREDEVIL v2 #36 (6:5-10)

The same day as ALIAS 15 (1:4-1:5). Widow urges Matt to go put his costume on and let them jump around on some roofs.

Matt denies her.

ALIAS #15 (2-9)

The same day as DD2 36 (6-10). As Natasha speaks to Matt, outside the office Jessica and Luke have a discussion about their

relationship. Jessica mentions having a date with Scott Lang "tonight." Then Natasha exits Matt's office.

DAREDEVIL v2 #36 (11-13)

The same day as ALIAS 15 (2-9). Natasha then talks to Foggy and he tells her to leave him alone. Then she places a personal

phone call, using a SHIELD priority code.

DAREDEVIL v2 #36 (14-21)

The same night as DD2 36 (5-13). Matt has a private dinner with Vanessa Fisk, in the Fisk Towers. Vanessa tells Matt she's

leaving America, that she's sold Fisk Towers to Donald Trump and the Kingpin is still in a coma, then gives Matt a card with the

name of the FBI agent who sold his identity to the newspaper. When he gets home he finds Elektra on the rooftop. Full moon.

DAREDEVIL v2 #37 (2-6)

The same night as DD2 36 (5-21). It must be more than "twelve years" after the college scene involving Matt and Elektra in

DD2 37-FB (1). Matt and Elektra chat.

ALIAS #15 (10-21)

The same night as ALIAS 15 (1-9). ALIAS 13 is referred to as having occurred "the other day." Scott Lang and Jessica Jones

have a date at a restaurant as Spider-Man and the Human Torch go after Dr. Octopus (he is probably not captured). During the

date, Scott tells Jessica about his daughter, Cassie: "She's my reason for everything. Seriously - I'd do anything for her. Don't

know what my life would be without her." This dialog is an indication that this scene occurs while Scott is in the midst of the

custody battle mentioned in A3 58 (1-16) and before he loses custody of Cassie in A3 62.

IRON MAN v3 #56

The night of the day after IM3 55/2. Full moon.

IRON MAN v3 #57

The same night as IM3 56.

IRON MAN v3 #58

The same night as IM3 57.

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #55

A night with a full moon, right after the Richards' anniversary in FF3 50/4 (6-8). It is "256 months" -- 21 years and four months

-- after Reed and Sue first met. This puts Sue at about age 40, or at the youngest in her late thirties. This fits in with my estimate

of time since FF 1 (about 20 years), despite Franklin Richards' apparent age.

DEADPOOL v3 #69 (9-22)

The night of the day after DP3 69 (1-8). Deadpool and Ratbag arrive in Germany to kick Black swan's butt. Black Swan fixes

Ratbag's mind and kills Nijo. Deadpool detonates an explosive device that destroys Swan's castle.

[BTS]

The same night as DP3 69 (9-22). It is sometime before AX 1 (1-11). As related in AX 14, Deadpool, Black Swan, and Nijo end

up having their minds melded and reapportioned as the bomb goes off, resulting in the reanimation of Nijo's corpse as Agent X.

Tuesday, July 2

PUNISHER v6 #22 (1-19)

The day after PUN6 21 (2-22). Pearse follows Becky to a women's refuge. The Punisher turns up and drives him off. Later,

Billy visits Pearse again. In the evening, Pearse and Seifert go to Cestone's office. Pearse goes in alone, and hands over some of

his own money to go towards Seifert's debt. Cestone realises that Seifert doesn't have the coke which he was going to sell in

settlement of the debt. The mobsters mock Pearse. Pearse finally snaps and opens fire on everyone. Seifert runs in to help (after

the Punisher fends off a henchman for him). Everyone kills one another. The Punisher remains outside and plays no part in the

fight. DAREDEVIL v2 #37 (7-12)

The day after DD2 37 (2-6). Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson deal with a Daily Globe lawyer. Daredevil confronts the FBI

agent who sold him out.

AVENGERS v3 #56

One day. Stark has only recently revealed his identity, and it's not quite common knowledge yet, thus putting this shortly after

the end of IM3 55/2. Thor is in the costume he was first seen wearing in T2 45, the events of T2 46-50 leave little room for gaps,

and Thor brings Asgard to earth at the end of T2 50. That memorable event should postdate A3 61. So I place A3 56-62

between T2 45 and 46.

(BLACK PANTHER v3 #46)

Panther and company are actually in the nineteenth century here. Loki of that time learns from T'Challa's future self that Odin is

dead and Thor has assumed the throne; this doesn't necessarily mean that the present-day Panther and his contemporaries know

this at the time of this adventure.

(BLACK PANTHER v3 #47)

Panther and company are still in the past.

BLACK PANTHER v3 #48-FB (4:2-5)

BLACK PANTHER v3 #48-FB (3:2)

BLACK PANTHER v3 #48-FB (3:4-3:6)

BLACK PANTHER v3 #48-FB (11:3-14)

These flashbacks occur on the day that the Panther and company return from the past, the week before BP3 48-FB (2). Given

the placement of IM3 55/2 and 53-58 and A3 56 between BP2 45 and A3 57, the only way for only a week to exist between these

flashbacks and BP3-FB (2) is for T'Challa and crew to return to the present more than two weeks after the point they left the

present. T'Challa's future self collapses and must be returned to his chamber.

WOLVERINE v2 #179

One day. Shaman summons Wolverine from Westchester (where we see green grass and trees) to Canada to battle a demon who

has taken over Alpha Flight's headquarters and possessed Sasquatch, Puck, and Snowbird. Shaman mentions that Heather and

Mac are "occupied with the joyousness of Heather's pregnancy." Logan defeats the demon and frees Alpha Flight. Shaman tells

Logan that the demon wanted his protege, Chuck Moss, who Shaman asks Logan to train.

Wednesday, July 3

DAREDEVIL v2 #37 (13-21)

Probably the day after DD2 37 (7-12). Matt and Foggy meet with a Daily Globe exec, who vows to prove that Matt is Daredevil.

SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #15

One day. Heather Krolnek, a Spidey fan, learns her father is a criminal as Spider-Man shows up to capture him when he is

robbing a bank under the costumed identity of the Stag Beetle. Heather mentions her father has been leaving home at dawn

"every other night this week;" she also mentions the Scorpion to be in jail, so it's probably during the time Scorpion spends in

jail after his capture in SM:SC 1. The Beetle is also believed to be in jail (she doesn't know he is out as Mach 2).

AVENGERS v3 #57

One day. We see White House reconstruction, probably following the Panther-Iron Man battle in BP3 45 (not necessarily Kang

War destruction as implied). The Falcon is back with the Avengers, sporting a new costume; Cap's remarks about it suggest that

this is the first time it's been seen - thus this story must occur before M/DS 2/2. The Black Panther rejoins the Avengers,

probably after BP3 47, since Gyrich is still with him. Given that Scott Lang loses custody of his daughter in A3 62, and that

continuity from A3 57 to A3 62 is fairly tight, A3 57 probably occurs after MDS 3/2. Washington, where Yellowjacket and the

Wasp are, and earth's other capital cities are swallowed up by energy portals. Responding to the ensuing panic and anarchy, the

U.N. declares a state of emergency and asks the Avengers to restore order. The Eiffel Tower is shown here, apparently repaired

from its destruction in UX 406 (1-21).

ELEKTRA v2 #8 (13-16)

One day. Elektra's two victims arrive by freight in Crete. She nabs a third in Houston.

AVENGERS v3 #58 (1-16)

The same day as A3 57. As the Avengers deal with the fallout of the capital disappearances around the world, Iron Man/Tony

Stark addresses the U.N. Ant-Man mentions his child custody battle, and Namor shows up to rejoin the Avengers because the

void problem is wreaking havoc with the world's oceans.

WOLVERINE v2 #180 (1-19)

The day after W2 179. Logan trains Chuck Moss in British Columbia, where we see green grass and trees. Full moon.

Thursday, July 4: Independence Day

AVENGERS v3 #58 (17-22)

Early the morning after A3 58 (1-16). At 3:32 AM, She-Hulk and Warbird encounter the Scarlet Witch channeling the In-

Betweener. Yellowjacket and the Wasp survey the missing cities in the 13th dimension and are attacked by Scorpio.

WOLVERINE v2 #180 (20-23)

The morning after W2 180 (1-19). Chuck Moss passes his training and Logan gives him his totem, a worm, and calls him an

"Earthmover." This segment must occur sometime before XU 45 (1-24).

Friday, July 5

PUNISHER v6 #22 (20-21)

One day, a few days after PUN6 22 (1-19). The Punisher watches from a distance as Pearse and Seifert are buried. We see green

grass and trees and a few bare trees.

X-FACTOR v2 #2 (8-12)

One day. Aaron Kearse and Catherine Gray begin their investigation of "two months" of death threats against Tony Robb, so it

has been at least that long that baseball season as been going on. Green grass and trees.

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #56

One night, before T:F 1 (5-16).

ELEKTRA v2 #8 (17-18)

One day. Elektra takes her fourth victim in Manhattan.

Saturday, July 6

X-MEN UNLIMITED #50 (1-22)

One night. In Tokyo, Logan defeats Azuma, a man out to get the mystical sword of a girl named Renge.

X-FORCE #123

This entire reality-bending, 'Nuff Said story occurs in one second at midnight as X-Force relax at their headquarters.

BLADE v7 #3 -- FB (16:4-18:5)
One day. This flashback occurs after PPSM2 8. Some vampires trick Blade into killing his girlfriend, Yathalea Marcoule.
BLADE v7 #6 -- FB (8:3-9:4)
One day. A woman and her husband return home from a date when they're attacked by a vampire. The husband dies later at the hospital.

Sunday, July 7

X-MEN UNLIMITED #50 (23-24)

The day after XU 50 (1-22). Logan and Renge part ways and Logan destroys her sword. If Logan does not return to Japan after

XU 39/2, then this segment must occur sometime before XU 39/2.

AVENGERS v3 #59

One day, enough "days" after A3 58 (1-16) for the Avengers to round up seventeen would-be dictators. Lord Thor appears here

in the costume first seen in T2 45. Jack of Hearts enters the Zero Room at 3:32 AM and is supposed to stay in there for "ten

hours." Green grass and trees in Virginia.

AVENGERS v3 #60 (1-24)

Same day as A3 59. Two teams of Avengers succeed in reuniting Order and Chaos into the In-Betweener. They defeat Scorpio

and the lost capital cities are returned to their rightful places.

Monday, July 8

AVENGERS v3 #60 (25-28)

The day after A3 60 (1-24). After the Avengers turn political power back to the U.N., the Secretary General calls with a

proposal. Meanwhile, Scorpio reports back to the Zodiac with data about the Avengers. I've placed this story before WX2 1, in

which Weapon X destroys Zodiac's headquarters. The Vision does not have the appearance he acquires in AI:V 1-4, so this must

occur before AI:V 1. The Eiffel Tower must appear here before its destruction in UX 406 (1-21).

AVENGERS ICONS: THE VISION #1

One night, perhaps the same night as A3 60 (25-28). Green grass and trees in Queens. The full moon may be topical. It must be

Monday.

AVENGERS ICONS: THE VISION #2 (1-17)

Same night as AI:V 1.

SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #17 (20-22)

One day, "seven weeks" after TW 17 (1-19). The Spot shows up to see Tombstone (who has been operated for his heart

condition) for some retribution after helping him to get out of prison. Tombstone breaks the Spot's neck, killing him. The Spot

mentions Spidey to be "currently embroiled in a bout with that Octavius fellow...or was it Mysterio?" - this isn't necessarily a

reference to a published battle.

ELEKTRA v2 #8 (19-21)

One day. Elektra arrives in Crete with her third and fourth captives.

ELEKTRA v2 #9

The same day as ELEK2 8 (19-21). Electra refuses to torture and kill the men she's brought to Ione, but rather frees one of them

and leaves the others for Ione to torture and kill. Elektra blackmails Valance through Olson and Megaera.

SHE-HULK v4 #14 - FB (13:4-13:5)

One day. This flashback must occur before S-H3 6-FB (17:4). Mallory gives Awesome Android a slate on which to

communicate.

Tuesday, July 9

AVENGERS ICONS: THE VISION #2 (18-22)

The day after AI:V 2 (1-17), a "Tuesday." We see warm weather (judging by clothing) and green grass and trees at Penn State,

where college is in session and was so the preceding week as well. This is probably a summer session.

AVENGERS ICONS: THE VISION #3

The same night as AI:V 2 (18-22). It is "a month" since Gremlin arrived in the U.S. Apparently Penn State students like to party

on a Tuesday night. Green grass and trees. Topical full moon.

AVENGERS ICONS: THE VISION #4

The same night as AI:V 3. Green trees in Philadelphia and Queens.

THING: FREAKSHOW #1 (5-14)

One day, after FF3 56. During the second parade held for the Fantastic Four this month, the FF battle the Wrecking Crew and

Wrecker pries off a small chunk of the Thing's hide. Afterward, the Thing gets honked off and leaves the Baxter Building. We

see green grass and trees in New York on "the fifteenth" of the month, but the appearance of a waning crescent moon in TW 18

places this segment a week earlier.

SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #18

The same day as T:F 1 (5-14). Spellcheck tries to ally Typeface when the later tries to capture the Penny-Ante gang. Then

Spider-Man finds Spellcheck hanging from a pole at the train station. The Thing is seen sitting at a train station, linked this issue

to T:F 1, and presumably placing it on "the fifteenth" of the month, but I'll go with the waning crescent moon here and place T:F

in this spot instead of the fifteenth. Ghost Rider is also at that train station. Coat weather in New York.

THING: FREAKSHOW #1 (15-16)

The same day as TW 18. The Thing hops a train for Myrtle Beach to get away from it all and falls asleep.

SECRET WAR #1 - FB - FB

One day. Killer Shrike is defeated by Iron Man and Thor, who appears in his Lord Thor raiment. I've placed this videotaped

flashback between A3 60 and 61, a time during which Lord Thor was hanging with the Avengers. This scene may occur many

months before SECWAR 1-FB (8-18).

Wednesday, July 10

AVENGERS v3 #61

One day, perhaps the day after AI:V 4. It is probably a couple of days after the end of A3 60, as news of the Avengers' new

status from the end of A3 60 is getting news coverage, and it's hard to believe that Thor would stick around for long after A3 60.

During this period of a couple of days, Ant-Man hangs around Avengers Mansion. Thor (to whom Wasp refers as a "king")

leaves for Asgard, not by walking out the door and flying up to his floating kingdom, but through inter-dimensional teleportation;

this suggests that A3 61 occurs before T2 46, the storyline that leads to Asgard over Manhattan. The Vision has a new

appearance here, resulting from his encounter with the Gremlin in AI:V 1-4, so enough time must pass between A3 60 and 61 for

that miniseries to occur. T'Challa probably appears here before the death of his future self in BP3 48-FB (2). It looks like Jack

of Hearts has 8 hours and 14 minutes left of being locked in the Zero Room, but it can't be less than two hours after A3 59 - this

must be a different period of confinement from that begun in A3 59; indeed the ten-hour lock-down must occur each day, as

revealed in A3 62. Green grass and trees in Manhattan.

THING: FREAKSHOW #1 (17-23)

The day after T:F 1 (15-16). The Thing awakens in Michigan, where we see green grass and trees. He stumbles upon a small

town and encounters a freak show.

THING: FREAKSHOW #2

The same day as T:F 1 (17-23). The Thing discovers that the townspeople are Kree and the freak show consists of Skrulls led by

Paibok. Green grass and trees in Michigan.

THING: FREAKSHOW #3

The same day as T:F 2. Caught in a square-off between Kree and Skrulls, Ben regurgitates an egg that hatches into Staak the

Evolver, then discovers a baby Watcher. Green grass and trees in Michigan.

THUNDERBOLTS #67 (5:3-16)

One day. It is "eight weeks" after TB 64 (22-23) and "twelve weeks" after TB 67-FB (4). In his search for Justin Hammer's

secret weapon, Hawkeye leads his new team of Thunderbolts to Symkaria, where they encounter Silver Sable and where we see

green grass and trees.

MARVEL DOUBLE SHOT #2 (1-9)

One day. Doom entertains a Russian symphony and talks with reporter Karen Sutter that has altered to look like his lost love,

Valeria. Doom appears here sometime after his return from Counter-Earth.

CAGE v2 #1

One day. Luke Cage drinks and gets hired to find a victim's killer. Given Cage's costume, this story must occur after M/K 15.

CAGE v2 #2

The same day as CAGE2 1. Full moon.

PUNISHER v6 #23 (1-7)

One night. At a mob poker game in New York, the other players tease Sid Saggio for his bizarre hobby - hunting for giant squid

in Brooklyn. The Punisher bursts in and kills everyone; Sid is in the toilet and escapes through the window. As he runs down

the street, he is confronted by the ghosts of the other players.

Thursday, July 11

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #39 (6-22:2)

Mary Jane attends a movie premiere at night of the same day of ASM2 39 (1-5) (probably past midnight in New York at this

point) and later at home watches the repeat of the Spider-Man news before going to sleep which she doesn't get to do until is time

to get up already. That morning in New York, aunt May cancels subscriptions to papers that don't like Spidey, she decides not to

e-mail the Bugle though (in ASM2 40 May states she didn't cancel her Bugle subscription because she wanted to do it personally

having known Jonah for so long), then tries to improve Spider-Man's image by writing to different TV shows. At night Spider-Man rescues people from fire and after seeing M.J. in a Times Square screen thinks about calling her but doesn't do it.

Later Peter has dinner with his aunt.

CAGE v2 #3

The early morning after CAGE2 2. Luke heads over to a bar and stays until it closes. He has sex with the bartender before finally

falling asleep.

MARVEL DOUBLE SHOT #2 (10-11)

The morning after M/DS 2 (1-9). Doom has breakfast and Karen Sutter commits suicide.

THING: FREAKSHOW #4

The morning after T:F 3. Ben is last seen starting an 80-mile walk back to Manhattan in the rain. It is shortly before FF3 57.

UNCANNY X-MEN #407 (16-23)

The day after UX 407 (1-15). The X-Men pick up Nightcrawler and Chamber in the snowy Bavarian Alps.

THUNDERBOLTS #67 (17-22)

The day after TB 67 (5-16). Hawkeye's Thunderbolts face off against Crimson Cowl's Masters of Evil in Symkaria.

THUNDERBOLTS #69

The same day as TB 67 (17-22). Hawkeye's Thunderbolts defeat Crimson Cowl and the Masters and SHIELD shows up to claim

Plantman. Green grass and trees in Symkaria.

MARVEL UNIVERSE: THE END #4

MARVEL UNIVERSE: THE END #5

MARVEL UNIVERSE: THE END #6

One day. This series occurs during the span of a few moments, as just prior to the end of END 6, the Marvel Universe is re-

booted to a point in time just prior to END 1. The Surfer refers to Strange, Namor, and the green-skinned Hulk as his "once-

fellow Defenders," an indication that this segment occurs after ORDER 6. Beast is cat-like and the X-Men are in their Morrison

outfits. Xavier is in a wheelchair, which seemingly places this segment before X 126 - however, since this is probably the real

Xavier (not Cassandra Nova) and Angel is with the X-Men, that places this segment after X 126, and since Chamber and Stacy X

are with the X-Men, that places this segment after X 400 - Xavier may still be using the wheelchair at times, as he did in

ORDER 5-6, during weeks of physical therapy (helping him get used to the use of his legs), but this segment must definitely

occur before X 127, in which Xavier walks without difficulty. Peter Parker is in the apartment into which he moved in PPSM2

30. Ant-Man is with the Avengers and Yellowjacket and Wasp are present as well, so this segment must occur after A3 60 (1-24)

- and since a bearded Lord Thor is shown on his throne in Asgard, this segment must occur after his departure from the Avengers

in A3 61. Archangel has white skin, but this story must occur before UX 413, while he had blue skin; this may be chalked up to

a coloring error or an image inducer used for no good reason. Gambit is with the X-Treme team and Sage is not catatonic, so this

segment must occur after XX 9. Storm is not in a wheelchair in the few panels in which she appears, but even more significantly,

Rogue and Gambit have their powers (Rogue is hovering in air and Gambit has a deck of charged cards in one two-page spread in

END 1), placing this before the Khan storyline in XX 10. T'Challa still has the Panther identity, so this segment must occur

before his future self is slain in BP3 48-FB (2:3-2:5). Spider-Woman is shown in the costume worn by Spider-Girl and must

appear here before ALIAS 16. Captain Marvel is not insane, so this segment must occur before CM6 1. Aurora must be

summoned from the institution in which she's been housed since W2 173/2. Erik Josten and Dallas Riordan are not separated, so

this story must occur before TB 74. All these clues lead me to place this segment on July 11, right after the Thing's return to the

FF from T:F 4, right after the X-Men's return from the Alps in UX 407 (16-23), and right before the slaying of T'Challa's future

self in BP3 48-FB (2:3-2:5). This would mean that both Xavier and Storm have been in physical therapy for more than a month

by this point. Green grass and trees.

BLACK PANTHER v3 #48-FB (15-22:1)

BLACK PANTHER v3 #48-FB (2:3-2:5)

These two flashbacks occur one day during the week after other flashbacks in BP3 48, as noted by the narrative statement, "next

week." A3 57-61 occupy that week nicely. T'Challa's future self is slain by M'Baku. This likely occurs after the Panther's

appearance in A3 61, since he spends the three days after this brooding and then gives up his Panther identity in BP3 49.

PUNISHER v6 #23 (8-9)

The day after PUN6 23 (1-7). Sid is still tormented by the ghosts as he tries to get on with his life.

THUNDERBOLTS #70

One day, "weeks" after TB 64 (13-21). Zemo's Thunderbolts investigate Paris of Counter-Earth (annihilated by the arrival of the

Rip "sixteen months ago") and encounter the Rip and the Anomaly. Full moon on Counter-Earth.

THUNDERBOLTS #71

The same day as TB 69. I have Citizen V here after CV&VB:E 4 (21-23). Hawkeye's Thunderbolts battle SHIELD and claim

Plantman for themselves.

THUNDERBOLTS #72

The same night as TB 70. Zemo's Thunderbolts deal with the Anomaly, meet up with the Young Allies, and are faced with

determining the fate of Counter-Earth. Full moon on Counter-Earth.

THUNDERBOLTS #73 (1-22:2)

The same night as TB 71. Citizen V calls on Hawkeye's Thunderbolts to deal with a white hole being created around the V-

Battalion's ship.

THUNDERBOLTS #74 (1-21:2)

The same night as TB 72. Zemo's Thunderbolts deal with the void on Counter-Earth and end up getting shuttled back to earth,

sans Jolt.

THUNDERBOLTS #73 (22:3-22:4) ~ THUNDERBOLTS #74 (21:3-21:4)

The same night as TB 74 (1-21). The Thunderbolts are reunited.

THUNDERBOLTS #74 (22)

The same night as TB 74 (21).

THUNDERBOLTS #75 (1-23)

The same night as TB 74 (22). Members of the Thunderbolts catch up and make decisions about their future. Nice weather on

the Canary Islands. Full moon.

Friday, July 12

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #39 (22:3-22:8)

Early one morning. Mary Jane, Aunt May and Peter are shown sleeping (it's 3:33 AM on Peter's clock).

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #40

One day. Spider-Man catches two bank robbers before school. May tells Jonah that she's canceling her Bugle subscription. At

night Spider-Man battles the Shade after learning he has been abducting people to the Astral Plane, the Shade escapes. May

informs Peter Mary Jane will be in town next week. Warm weather.

CAGE v2 #4

The day after CAGE2 3. There's mention of a recently announced "second quarter earnings report" on the TV, so this series

must occur no earlier than July. Placement here also ties in with the full moon shown in CAGE2 2. Luke is beaten up pretty badly

at the end of this issue.

B-SIDES #1/2

The night of high school graduation, a "couple of months" before BS 1. Placement here is roughly consistent with the placement

of ASM2 43 (1-6) a week later, which assumes a late school year because of the disruptions of the Kang War. Feeva uses

Fateball, Mize, and Jughandle to complete a test to get into the Pegasus Institute, foe which she needs to leave "tomorrow" to

take "summer classes." We see a waning crescent moon.

THUNDERBOLTS #75 (24-37)

The day after TB 75 (1-23). It is "all these months" before A/TB 3 (6-22). Songbird makes reference to Skein having been

involved with the Thunderbolts for "months,"but it can't be that long since TB 65. After reuniting, the Thunderbolts roster is

shaken up, and Hawkeye, after being duped into handing the team over to Zemo, is brought to Washington DC by Moonstone.

After this, Clint is free to participate in M/DS 2/2 and shoot Batroc with an arrow (DL 2). Nice weather in the Canary Islands.

Full moon.

X-TREME X-MEN #10

One day.

X-TREME X-MEN #11 (1-10)

The same night as XX 10. Given that we have the introduction of the Grell-Ryan armor so close before the Kang War proper,

Khan's invasion almost has to occur afterwards. The White House has been restored by this point. The Avengers appear here.

Thor is shown behind a word balloon in one panel; if his presence here is canon, then this depiction of him in his classic costume

must be an error because this story leads to the injury of Storm and the loss of power for Gambit and Rogue and thus must occur

after END, in which Thor appears in his Lord Thor costume. My theory is that word of the Khan situation forced Thor to leave

Asgard to re-join the Avengers (so soon - a day - after his departure in A3 61) to help deal with it; he is still with the team in

M/DS 2/2 after the assignment is done. Green grass and trees in Washington, DC. Full moon.

X-TREME X-MEN: X-POSE #1 - FB (2:1-2:2)

The same night as XX 11 (1-10). Bishop with his right fist glowing, and Sage in her regular costume (with no glasses) holding

onto a pillar of rock, both caught on videotape.

X-TREME X-MEN #11 (11)

The same night as XXX 1-FB (2:1-2:2).

X-TREME X-MEN: X-POSE #1 - FB (1:3)

The same night as XX 11 (11). Storm in the sky with lightning, caught on videotape.

X-TREME X-MEN #11 (12:1)

The same night as XXX 1-FB (1:3). Storm shapes the storm.

X-TREME X-MEN: X-POSE #1 - FB (3)

The same night as XX 11 (12:1). Storm flying through the storm, caught on videotape.

X-TREME X-MEN #11 (12:2-23)

The same night as XXX 1-FB (3).

X-TREME X-MEN #12

The same night as XX 11 (12-23). Full moon.

X-TREME X-MEN #13 (1-4)

The same night as XX 12.

X-TREME X-MEN: X-POSE #1 - FB (2:3)

The same night as XX 13 (1-4). Rogue in her red outfit breaking rocks, caught on videotape.

X-TREME X-MEN #13 (5-22)

The same night as XXX 1-FB (2:3). It is "a little while" after XX 13 (1-4). Full moon.

WOLVERINE v2 #181 - FB

One night. According to the narration in W2 186, it is "a few weeks" after PUN6 17. Logan kills Freddo Mazzo's mobsters,

who hold a young girl hostage in a bar.

WOLVERINE v2 #181

The same night as W2 181-FB. Logan frees the girl.

Saturday, July 13

WOLVERINE v2 #182

The day after W2 181, judging from the newspaper coverage, although Johnny refers to W2 181 as having occurred "that night,"

rather than "last night." It is "one week" before W2 183 (19-21). Wolverine arrives at the home of Freddo Mazzo with the hand

of one of the mobsters he killed and offers to destroy rival mob boss, the Roman, if Freddo forgives a $20K marker against the

father of the girl. Freddo accepts. Green grass and trees in New Jersey.

CAGE v2 #5

The day after CAGE2 4. The bartender mentions sleeping with Luke "the other night," confirming that the entire limited series

lasts no more than a few days. This story must occur before Cage's appearance as Murdock's bodyguard in DD2 36 (5-13).

PUNISHER v6 #23 (10-11)

The "Saturday" after PUN6 23 (8-9). The ghosts plague Sid as he hunts for squid. They demand that he avenges their deaths.

X-TREME X-MEN #14

The night of the day after XX 13 (5-22).

X-TREME X-MEN #15

The same night as XX 14.

X-TREME X-MEN #16

The same night as XX 15.

X-TREME X-MEN #17

The same night as XX 16.

X-TREME X-MEN: X-POSE #1 - FB (2:4)

The same night as XX 17. Gambit against a rock with his left hand up, caught on videotape.

X-TREME X-MEN: X-POSE #1 - FB (1:2)

The same night as XXX 1-FB (2:4). Gambit against a rock with his coat on, caught on videotape.

X-TREME X-MEN #18

The same night as XXX 1-FB (1:2). It is "a few weeks" before XXX 1 (1-4) and "not long" before XX 20. Storm, Rogue, and

Gambit are gravely injured. Cap, Iron Man, and Thing appear, as do Nightcrawler (probably before UX 408) and Beast and Jean

Grey.

MARVEL DOUBLE SHOT #2/2 (1-7)

One day. I theorize that the Avengers are returning from dealing with the Khan situation in Madripoor and that this story begins

the same day as XX 18. Concerned for her beloved Thor, the Enchantress convinces Loki to play pranks on Thor and his friends

rather than launch a wicked scheme to subdue the thunder god. Invisible, Loki plays his pranks at Avengers Mansion, where we

see green trees. Among those present are: Thor, who I suggest is still here after helping the Avengers with the Khan situation in

XX 11-18, and wearing (correctly this time) the costume first seen in T2 45; Hawkeye is apparently here after TB 75 (24-37) -

he's still wearing his Thunderbolts belt buckle here; Iron Man, in Grell-Ryan armor; and Falcon, who is wearing the costume

introduced in A3 57. Black Panther is not present, suggesting placement after BP3 48-FB (2). Ant-Man is not present,

suggesting placement before A3 62. Now that Clint is back, he and Cap may have their "date" with

Sunday, July 14

MARVEL DOUBLE SHOT #2/2 (8-11)

The morning after M/DS 2/2 (1-7). Jarvis exposes Loki as the prankster and Thor wallops the god of mischief. Since Thor was

rendered bald here, we must allow enough time between now and his next appearance (I suggest T2 46) for his hair to grow back.

It will be "too long" before Thor and Iron Man meet again, in T2 58.

BLACK PANTHER v3 #48

One day, "three days" after BP3 49-FB (2), during which time T'Challa broods over the death of his future self.

BLACK PANTHER v3 #49

The same day as BP3 48. T'Challa gives up his Panther identity and is missing and presumed dead during the "months" between

BP3 49 and BP3 52.

ELEKTRA v2 #10

One day. Elektra arrives in New York City and meets with a contractor who warns her that she is drawing too much attention

before he is shot dead by a sniper. The high profile could help explain how Black Widow was able to contact her so quickly

between DD 36 (5-13) and DD 37 (2-6).

UNCANNY X-MEN #408 (1-18)

One day. The events of UX 407 are noted as "recent." I place Nightcrawler here after XX 18. Indeed, Warren is asked when

Paris will be rebuilt, placing this issue sometime before X 128, where the Eiffel Tower is shown rebuilt. The X-Men mop up the

Vanisher's drug operation from UX '01 ("remember Cuba?").

Monday, July 15

UNCANNY X-MEN #408 (19-23)

The morning after UX 408 (1-18), "a week" before UX 409 (1-11).

MARVEL ADVENTURES #1

One day. Given Hawkeye's appearance here in classic costume, this story probably occurs after TB 75 (24-37) and perhaps

around the time Clint hangs with the Avengers briefly in M/DS 2/2. According to a newspaper headline, "Hulk Rampage Causes

Rush Hour Gridlock!" - if this story is from earlier in the day, then it must be a weekday. A man named Dunn is released from

Riker's Island after a ten-year incarceration. In all that time the police never found where he stashed his stolen loot. He wants to

retrieve it, but the police will be keeping a close eye on him, so he unleashes several robots, the location of which was given to

him by "his cellmate, a criminal mastermind," as a distraction. The robots rampage through midtown Manhattan and Chinatown

and are defeated by Daredevil, Stupid Hulk, the Invisible Woman, Hawkeye, and Captain America. One smashed robot begins to

display a recording, taken unbeknownst to Dunn, of him musing out loud about the location of his loot, and when Dunn surfaces

from a large hole he's dug in Central Park, he finds all five heroes waiting for him. Green grass and trees in New York.

PUNISHER v6 #23 (12-22)

One day during the week after PUN6 23 (10-11). At Lucky's Bar, Soap tells the Punisher that Sid phoned him at work that

morning and left details of a time and place where it would happen. Soap gives the Punisher the details. The Punisher duly turns

up, and fights a bunch of henchmen in an abandoned warehouse. After killing them all, he realizes that Saggio isn't there. In

fact, Saggio has wired the building with explosives, and detonates them from outside. The Punisher escapes in time. Saggio

confronts him on the docks. He is about to shoot the Punisher when a giant squid yanks him into the sea and kills him. The other

ghosts aren't too impressed with Sid's "revenge." But Sid doesn't care because he's been proved right - there really are giant

squid in New York.

NEW AVENGERS: ILLUMINATI v2 #4

One day. This story occurs after M/BOY 6 (22-23). The Illuminati gather and Strange tells them that Clea left him; she may have stayed with him for several weeks following ORDER 6 and returned to the Dark Dimension just before this story. Iron Man is in his Grell armor, Namor in his trunks, and Xavier in a wheelchair, perhaps during the time he's in physical therapy prior to X 127. The Illuminati visit Noh-Varr in his cell at the Cube and offer him a chance to earn his way out of prison and serve humanity. They cite Mar-Vell as a role model. Reed returns to the Baxter Building and asks Sue if she would like to go on a date or have a picnic "tomorrow" with the "kids," placing this story after FF3 54. Leafy tree in New York.

BLADE v7 #6 -- FB (5:4-5:6)
One day. The dead husband's kid screams and claims he saw his dead father.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #41 (1-10:5)

One day. Spider-Man talks to a police Lieutenant to help him find out about the Shade. As she writes letters to different

publications, before having dinner, May tells Peter Mary Jane called to confirm she'll be flying in on "Tuesday," which must be

tomorrow. Green grass and trees and light clothing. Full moon.

Tuesday, July 16

AVENGERS v3 #62

One day, sometime shortly after A3 61. Pym concludes that Jack must stay in the containment room fourteen hours a day instead

of ten, and he notes that Jack "spent the last few years in space." Scott Lang loses his daughter in a custody hearing (it must be a

weekday), so this issue must occur after ALIAS 15 (10-21), in which he tells Jessica that he doesn't know what his life would be

like without Cassie. Ant-Man officially joins the Avengers in this issue; his absence from M/DS 2/2 suggests that that issue

occurs before now. The Black Panther is not seen in this issue. Green grass and trees in Manhattan.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #41 (10:6-20/21:6)

The rainy day after ASM2 41 (10-22). Spider-Man learns the Shade might have gotten his powers from a jail mate called

Richard Cranston, who is now in a mental institution. Then he goes to see Dr. Strange.

FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #24 (18:5-19:1)

The same day as ASM2 41 (10-21). From a point in the future, a non-corporeal Dr. Strange takes an injured, non-material Spidey to his Sanctum Sanctorum to treat him. Strange restores them to physical form.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #41 (20/21:7)

The same day as FNSM 24 (18-19). The current-day Spidey arrives at the Sanctum Sanctorum and knocks on the door.

FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #24 (19:2-19:3)

The same day as ASM2 41 (20/21:7). The future Strange leaves the future Spidey to answer the door.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #41 (22)

The same day as FNSM 24 (19:2-19:3). The future Strange answers the door and sees the present Spidey there.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #42 (1-3:3)

The same day as ASM2 41 (22). The present Spidey relates his tale and asks the future Strange for help.

FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #24 (19:4-19:5)

The same day as ASM2 42 (1-3). The future Spidey stumbles to the door of the room where the future Strange left him to find out what's delaying him.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #42 (3:4) ~ FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #24 (19:6)

The same day as FNSM 24 (19:4-19:5). The future Spidey overhears his prior self discussing the Shade with the future Strange.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #42 (3:5-4:1)

The same day as ASM2 42 (3:4). The future Strange tells the present Spidey he cannot accompany him into the Astral Plane as he has "an appointment with death."

FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #24 (20:3-20:5)

The same day as ASM2 42 (3-4). The future Spidey tries to leave the room to warn his prior self about his future, but he loses physicality and realizes there's nothing he can do.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #42 (4:2-6:4)

The same day as FNSM 24 (20:3-20:5). The future Strange gives the present Spidey the Hand of Vishanti to go to the Astral Plane and advises him not to leave the path.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #42 (6:5-6:6) ~ FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #24 (21:1-21:2)

The same day as ASM2 42 (4-6). The future Strange leaves the present Spidey alone to meditate in preparation for his journey.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #42 (6:7)

The same day as ASM2 42 (6:5-6:6). The present Spidey makes a smart remark about Strange.

FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #24 (21:3-22:3)

The same day as ASM2 42 (6:7). The future Strange returns to the future Spidey, who is mostly healed. Strange explains why he could heal Peter but not May, then he takes Peter back to the future.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #42 (7-12)

The same day as FNSM 24 (21-22). On "Tuesday," the day Peter is supposed to pick up M.J. at the airport, Spidey goes to the Astral Plabe after the Shade abducts Jennifer Hardesty. Since time doesn't work the same in the Astral Plane as in reality, according to the Shade, at some point during their stay in the Astral Plane (say, page 12) it's past midnight.

PUNISHER v6 #24

One night. The Punisher attacks Monk Macchio's crew at their "Tuesday night" pool game. His gun jams, and the mobsters flee

onto the street. The Punisher follows them and kills all but one. He follows the survivor into the subway, where he encounters

"the man down below," a homicidal maniac who's been killing homeless people. Punisher also encounters social worker Jen,

who was led to the underground lair by a homeless man from her soup kitchen. Frank battles the MDB's henchmen and Jen falls

down a hole and lands on the pile of corpses.

PUNISHER v6 #25

The same night as PUN6 24. The Punisher escapes the henchmen and returns to the surface. He goes home to get more

equipment. He returns to the tunnels and meets Jen climbing out. She directs him to the corpse pile. The Punisher promptly sets

off to kill everyone, despite Jen's protests.

PUNISHER v6 #26

The same night as PUN6 25. Jen follows the Punisher back into the tunnels. The Punisher fights off the henchmen and then

torches the corpse pile, killing "the man down below." The Punisher and Jen return to the surface.

Wednesday, July 17

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #42 (13-22)

One day. Spider-Man fights the Shade in the astral plane and after being thrown to where his abducted people had been staying,

the Shade explodes. Spidey then helps people to get out of astral plane but lets himself to be drawn to a place where he finds a

gigantic Spider, when he leaves he is still in Astral form and realizes it's already "Wednesday, July 17." Mary Jane can't see him

in astral form when he finds her boarding a plane to go back to LA. After school being canceled by snow, probably the Kang

War, and an Osborn Industries truck collision against 108 PS's wall, school must be still in session by this time of year, as it

probably still is in XU 36.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHAT PRICE GLORY #1 (1-21:7)

One evening. Steve Rogers drops in on old friends Kate and Sal (who is celebrating a birthday), then he checks on reports of

mob violence and ends up being escorted to the home of Charles Frizini. Frizini asks Steve to rescue his daughter Pasha from the

life she's made with mobster Nicoli Spano in Las Vegas. Frizini notes Steve's "anonymity," so this limited series must occur

before CA4 1 (21-32). We see long sleeves and a reference to there being "a cold wind coming" in New York. The full moon is

inconsistent with the lunar phases elsewhere in this story.

Thursday, July 18

CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHAT PRICE GLORY #1 (21:8-21:10)

The morning after CA:WPG 1 (1-21). Steve boards a plane to Vegas.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHAT PRICE GLORY #2 (1-11:1)

twenty percent humidity." That night, Cap runs afoul of Spano's men at a Captain America amusement park.

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #57

One day shortly after T:F 4, Reed uses a piece of Ben's hide to analyze recent changes in his skin.

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #58

The same day as FF3 57.

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #59

The same day as FF3 58. The Thing loses his ability to become Ben Grimm.

X-FORCE #124 (1-7)

One night. Edie messes up a teleport at the end of an unpublished mission and X-Force must return home via plane.

Friday, July 19

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN v2 #43 (1:1-1:6)

One day. Peter is figuring out a way to apologize to Mary Jane for presumably standing her up in ASM2 42. It is the last day of

school before a "holiday break," probably summer break, since we see a banner that looks like it says, "Have a great summer."

(This may be the end of a school year that is extended a month because of the disruptions of the Kang War.) Peter's

conversation with a fellow teacher indicates that the break is lengthy enough for a trip or for finding a way to earn extra money.

UNCANNY X-MEN #409 (1-11)

One day. Logan's been hanging around for "a week" since UX 408 (19-23). It is "two weeks" before UX 409 (12-13).

DAREDEVIL v2 #38 (1-6)

One night. The original White Tiger (Hector Ayala) comes out of retirement and stops a robbery, only to be fingered as a cop

killer. DD2 39 refers to this event as having occurred "July 19th" and Matt notes in DD2 40 that this incident occurred a "few

months" ago.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHAT PRICE GLORY #2 (11:2-13)

The night of the day after CA:WPG 2 (1-11). At a casino, Steve tries to convince Pasha to leave Spano. Waning crescent moon.

Saturday, July 20

CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHAT PRICE GLORY #2 (14-23)

The day after CA:WPG 2 (11-13). At 2 AM, Cap again fights Spano's thugs at the amusement park. That next afternoon, Steve

meets up with Pasha and as she leaves in her jet ski, she's hit by a speedboat.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHAT PRICE GLORY #3 (1-8)

The same day as CA:WPG 2 (14-23). Steve saves Pasha and is invited by Spano to be his bodyguard. It is a "Saturday."

According to the newspaper, the temperature range in Vegas today is 84-108 degrees.

moon.

Sunday, July 21

CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHAT PRICE GLORY #3 (9-22)

The early morning after CA:WPG 3 (1-8). After 2 AM EST, Pasha tells Steve about Spano's plan to take over the amusement

park and Cap rushes there to prevent a planned explosion.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHAT PRICE GLORY #4

The same day as CA:WPG 3 (9-22). Cap saves the park, FBI agents arrest Spano, and Steve takes Pasha back to Frizini. Spano

is revealed to be Pasha's father and Cap discovers that Sal and Kate manipulated him into the entire situation. Spano notes that

"it looks to be a promising summer." Green grass and trees in New York. There is a reference to the Twin Towers being gone,

so this story occurs after 9-11.

DAREDEVIL v2 #38 (10-12)

The day after DD2 38 (7-9). Matt Murdock visits Hector Ayala at Ryker's and takes his case.

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #60 (3-9)

Probably the day after FF3 60 (1-2). Shertzer meets the Fantastic Four and goes on a "Sunday drive" with them into another

dimension. Johnny has broken up with a celebrity named Jennifer. Sue refers to Franklin as a "seven-year-old" (yeah, sure...);

this may be an internal reference to the fact that this segment occurs before Franklin's purported eighth birthday in FOUR 1 (1-

6).

One day. Nathan meets Blaquesmith in Egypt.

WOLVERINE v2 #183 (16-18)

One day. The Roman tells his new assistant that he's decided to recruit the Sweeper to handle Logan.

days must be allowed after this issue for Guy and Edie to return to California by car. Full moon.

BLADE v7 #2 (8-22)
The day after BLADE v7 2 (1:3-7). Government agents question other vampires. Rosa and Cesar Belinski let Blade know what they've discovered from the book he gave them. Meanwhile, Queen Cilla eats someone and yells at Rowkis. Later, Blade gets some gadgets from Fofo and discovers that Susan is following him, so he trains her a bit in killing vampires. Meanwhile, government agents plan to kill Blade. Later, Blade goes to the cemetery and chats with the ghost of Yathalea.
FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #60 (10-11)

On a "Monday," the day after FF3 60 (3-9), Shertzer accompanies Johnny and Sue as they fix the Baxter Building security

system after the Mad Thinker (BTS) wrecks it.

The night of the day after DD2 38 (10-12). Luke Cage and Iron Fist gather some information on the Ayala case while on the

phone with Matt.

SOLDIER X #2

Probably the night of the day after SX 1. Nathan and Blaquesmith are now in Moscow.

PUNISHER v6 #27 (1-4)

One "Monday evening." Elektra probably appears in this story between ELEK2 10 and 11, when she's in New York without

work and going mad from the lack of conflict; even Frank comments that she's insane. Punisher tries to kill mobster Figsy

Goleano, but Elektra shows up and kills him first. Leafy trees.

WOLVERINE v2 #183 (19-21)

One night, "one week" after W2 182. Logan returns to Pazzo's headquarters and meets with Freddo Pazzo, Johny Delacavva and

Tony Ditello. Freddo shows Wolvie that day's edition of the Daily Bugle; its front page article is titled, "Freddie Got Fingered.

stepping outside, Logan is stalked by the Sweeper.

WOLVERINE v2 #184 (1-5)

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #60 (12-15)

In the wee hours of a "Tuesday" morning, the day after FF3 60 (10-11), Shertzer accompanies the Fantastic Four as they deal

with a mishap at Cause Cerebral (an annual event that, until this year, Reed had been attending since age 17). Full moon.

SOLDIER X #3

The day ("14 hours") after SX 2. It is no more than a month after C2 107, as Nathan's narrative, written after this story, refers to

the events of C2 107 as having occurred "last month." Green grass and trees in Russia.

and kills them. Worried, Punisher gets Soap to meet him at Lucky's Bar with Elektra's file. Soap is horrified that Elektra is

hanging around.

The day after W2 184 (1-5). It is "one week" after W2 182 and "all these months" after W2 184-FB. Logan kills the Sweeper

and the Roman, but Freddo reneges on his deal and kidnaps the girl again to get Logan to silence a grand jury witness scheduled

to appear in his pending federal trial.

there first. Leafy trees.

to Johnny for disposal, leaving Johnny in charge of the Pazzo family. Leafy and bare trees in New Jersey. Full moon.

BLADE v7 #3 (4-22)
The day after BLADE7 3-FB (20). Blade infiltrates a vampire's safehouse and torches it. Meanwhile, government agents research vampires. Later, Blade goes out on a date with Susan. Blade gets a phone call that Fofo is in the hospital. Blade sees through the trap and leaves the hospital, but is attacked and captured by vampires.
BLADE v7 #4 (1-13)
The same night as BLADE7 3 (4-22). Valencia interrogates the captured Blade while Bitsy watches. Blade breaks free and kills them. When he makes it outside he finds governments agents who were waiting to kill him tied up. He's attacked by Rowkis, who then lets him go.

Thursday, July 25

PUNISHER v6 #27 (12:2)

The day after PUN6 27 (12:1) - a "Thursday." Punisher arrives too late to kill Jimmy the Gun; Elektra did it first.

GRAVITY #5 - FB

One "summer" day, the "year" before GRAV 5. While Greg Willis sails with his parents, a weird spatial anomaly appears during

an unexpected storm. It sucks Greg up then disappears, leaving him floating in the water.

BLADE v7 #4 (14-22)
The day after BLADE7 4 (1-13). Blade wakes up at Rosa's place. Meanwhile, Rowkis brings the government agents to Queen Cilla. Later, Blade asks another vampire group for information and they come up with a plan to stop Queen Cilla.
BLADE v7 #5
The same night as BLADE7 4 (14-22). Susan is captured by Rowkis and Blade goes to save her. When he arrives at the secret hideout, he's tricked by Queen Cilla into having sex with her. Blade then rescues the government agents and kills Rowkis, but Queen Cilla gets away. Later, he regroups with Rosa, Cesar, and Fofo.
FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #60 (17:4)

On a "Thursday" evening, the day after FF3 60 (16-17), Ben reads a book while singing the Thing rap to himself.

GHOST RIDER v3 #1

One night? I don't have this issue, but in GR3 2 Chloe notes that she and Johnny Blaze had a discussion "last night."

Friday, July 26

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #60 (18)

On a "Friday," the day after FF3 60 (17), the Richards family visits a museum and Sue wonders about the reason for Shertzer's

assignment.

SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #19-FB (2:1-p2)

One day, probably a few days before TW 19 (1-4). The Grizzly leaves prison and decides to go straight after getting some

education in the joint.

X-FORCE #125 - FB (2-3)

One day. X-Force goes on a mission to arrest a Central American general wanted for crimes against humanity, but the mission

goes badly.

X-FORCE #125 - FB (15:2-15:4)

The same day as XFO 125-FB (2-3). On this mission, Orphan ignores a little girl knelling among the dead.

X-FORCE #125 (1)

The same day as XFO 125-FB (15). X-Force returns home from their Central American mission.

X-FORCE #125 (4-9)

The same day as XFO 125 (1). Spike tells X-Force they need to change their name, then Orphan, Anarchist and U-Go Girl go to

a cemetery to recruit Dead Girl, only to encounter a portent of death.

PUNISHER v6 #27 (12:3)

The day after PUN6 27 (12:2) - a "Friday." Elektra has killed the Dutchman before Punisher arrives to do so.

BLADE v7 #6 (1-20)
One day, probably a week or two before BLADE7 6 (21-22). This segment occurs before TOD4 1. Rosa has set up a job for Blade, and at the meeting he's asked to dig up a dead husband. Blade listens to the widow's story. Blade goes to the cemetery and digs up the husband's grave, but there's no body inside. They go back to the widow's house and the husband eventually shows up as a vampire. Blade kills him and leaves.
GHOST RIDER v3 #2 (1-14:1)

On a "Friday evening," Ghost Rider destroys Emmet Electronics. We see green trees in Maryland.

Saturday, July 27

GHOST RIDER v3 #2 (14:2-22)

The day after GR3 2 (1-14). On a "Saturday morning," an injured Johnny Blaze awakens and demands an exorcism from a

priest. On "Saturday afternoon," Johnny tells Gunmetal Gray, a mercenary killer biker, that he wants Ghost Rider dead. Green

grass and trees in Maryland.

FANTASTIC FOUR v3 #60 (19-22)

On a "Saturday," the day after FF3 60 (18), Schertzer reports back on his week with the FF and Reed tells Valeria the reason he

wants the FF to be celebrities.

X-MEN UNLIMITED #36 (1-12)

A "Saturday" during a college semester, which I conclude is a short summer quarter during which some classes are held,

including the physics tutorial shown later in MEK; a number of students are hanging around campus during this time. Kitty

refers to her life before the X-Men as having been "five years ago," but it must be longer than that, especially given that: she

tends bar, an indication that she's at least 21; and that she was noted as being 13 ½ in UX 129. We see green grass and trees as

Kitty walks across the campus of the University of Chicago, mulling over the destruction of Genosha and passing the booths of

advocacy groups, including Citizens for Humanity. She goes to her apartment (last seen in XX '01/2) and that night, she tends

bar at the Belles of Hell. On the way home, she witnesses an explosion in a high-rise and helps victims escape the fire.

X-FORCE #125 (10-22)

Perhaps the day after XFO 125 (4-9). X-Force are set up on a mission to reclaim a space station taken over by prison inmates

mutated by the CIA, under the guise of a mission to save earth from aliens. Dead Girl joins the team.

X-FORCE #126

The same day as XFO 125 (10-22).

X-FORCE #127

The same day as XFO 126.

X-FORCE #128

The same day as XFO 127. Edie Sawyer dies. It is "weeks" before XS 1 (16-23), "months" before XS 10, and presumably just

under "four months" before XS 2 (14-22), but that last reference may be wrong.

PUNISHER v3 #27 (13)

The day after PUN6 27 (12:3) - a "Saturday." Elektra kills Don Alberto Luigi Pariani before Punisher can do it.

WEAPON X: ZERO #1 (14-22)

Zero finally goes on his mission to kill Wolverine, probably after months of other missions for Weapon X. He fails, and is

punished by the Director. The Director sits in his office watching multiple monitors, on which we see Agent Zero, Spider-Man,

Captain America, Four Freedoms Plaza, and what are probably an Avengers Quinjet and the Hulk. The Agent Zero feed is live,

but the shot of Four Freedoms Plaza is clearly taped (the Plaza hasn't existed on earth since FF3 15 or so). In WX 0.5 we see this

same set-up, and several of the Director's monitor feeds are clearly taped there too. The Director has a folder on his desk in

which we see photos of Wolvie and Deadpool. We see this exact same folder on his desk, with the exact same photos, in WX 0.5,

implying, possibly, that this sequence takes place around the same time period as WX 0.5. This is probably the only clue we

have to placing this sequence, other than the fact that Wolvie has two good eyes here, placing it after W2 169. I have Logan here

between pages of UX 409, which would make sense, as Logan is in New York at this time.

Sunday, July 28

X-MEN UNLIMITED #36 (13-15)

The day after XU 36 (1-12). Kitty fights a bunch of anti-mutant students and gets academic probation and an order to undergo

mandatory psychological counseling, which we see begin in MEK 1 (3-14). Kitty's appearance in XX 19 must be after this story,

as this occurrence of "trouble at school" is mentioned in XX 19. And given that the psychological counseling that is supposed to

begin "immediately" starts in MEK 1, both XX 19 and the MEK series must span a short amount of time after this.

X-FORCE #129 (1-10)

Probably the day after XFO 128. Orphan announces that Edie Sawyer is dead and the media have a field day. Spike notes that

X-Force will be looking at replacements "tomorrow." Green grass and trees.

WEAPON X #0.5 (1-13)

Probably the same day as XFO 129, since Orphan announces the X-Force tryouts on TV. The issue opens with the Director

going through the folder we saw in WX:ZERO, musing about the men who have given him trouble -- Wolvie, Deadpool...and

Sabretooth, who we see is the third photo in the folder. The Director ruminates on past events up through W2 176which places

WX 0.5 after W2 176, and likely places WX:Z (14-22) after W2 176 as well. We see several scenes on the Director's screens on

page 12, but nothing all that "current" to indicate what other events might be taking place "now." We see Iron Man in his Grell-

Ryan armor, indicating that this issue takes place after the wrap of the Kang War. The Director decides that it's time for a draft of

new operatives in this issue (p.12), which places it before the rest of the "Draft" one-shots.

AGENT X #1 (1-11)

One day, sometime after DP3 69 (9-22). Agent X arrives badly injured at Sandi's apartment. He is given the name "Alex

Hayden" and Sandi asks Taskmaster to train him. Meanwhile, Higaski struggles to assert his authority as the new leader of the

Four Winds organization.

PUNISHER v6 #27 (14-23)

The day after PUN6 27 (13) - a "Sunday." Elektra kills Skinny Vic Strega and waits for Punisher to show up. Elektra explains

that she's been killing out of boredom and invites Frank to dinner "tomorrow night."

CALL OF DUTY #1 (1-9:6)

One day. Police sergeant Frank Gunzer enters a hostage situation in which a man kills his daughter and shoots Gunzer's partner

Sammy before being killed by backup cops. Gunz then sees a blond girl who speaks an ominous message of death before

disappearing.

CALL OF DUTY: THE BROTHERHOOD #1 (1-19)

The same night as COD 1 (1-9). While fighting a fire, fireman James MacDonald sees the blond girl, who gives the same

ominous message of death before mysteriously vanishing again. The injured MacDonald is taken from the scene in an ambulance

with EMT Jennifer Montez, but the ambulance encounters a car wreck.

CALL OF DUTY: THE BROTHERHOOD #1 (20-21:3) ~ CALL OF DUTY #1 (9:7-10)

The same night as COD:B 1 (1-19). Montez encounters the blond girl and her disappearing act at the car wreck. Gunz shows up

and they start to compare notes with MacDonald. This segment is noted in COD:W 1 as having occurred "the other day."

CALL OF DUTY: THE BROTHERHOOD #1 (21:4-27:2)

The same night as COD:B 1 (20-21). At the hospital, Montez, MacDonald, and Gunz compare notes about the blond girl. "9-

11" is referenced in a scene with MacDonald and fellow firefighter Mick.

GHOST RIDER v3 #3

The day after GR3 2 (14-22). On a "Sunday afternoon," Gunmetal Gray catches up with Ghost Rider and blows his head off, but

Ghost Rider's head reassembles and he gets away. On "Sunday evening," Gunmetal uses a truck full of liquid nitrogen on Ghost

Rider, but fails to kill him. Johnny Blaze reveals to Gunmetal that he himself is Ghost Rider. Green grass and trees in Maryland.

GHOST RIDER v3 #4 (1-13)

The same night as GR3 3. Just as Gunmetal is about to pop Johnny, the police show up, and Gunmetal goes one way and Johnny

goes another with a guy named Juneau. Green grass and trees in Maryland. Full moon.

Monday, July 29

GHOST RIDER v3 #4 (14-22)

The morning after GR3 4 (1-13). On a "Monday morning," Gunmetal Gray shows up at a Chicago precinct to warn Detective

Harlan Smith that he's Ghost Rider's next target. Juneau leads Johnny to an encampment in Illinois, but Johnny turns to Ghost

Rider and heads to Chicago, where he finds that Gunmetal has roughed up Smith, creating a grudge match with Ghost Rider.

Full moon.

GHOST RIDER v3 #5 (1-2)

The same morning as GR3 4 (14-22). Gunmetal kills Detective Smith.

AGENT X #1 (12-13:2)

The day after AX 1 (1-11). Taskmaster begins to train Agent X on "training day one."

X-FORCE #129 (11-19)

The day after XFO 129 (1-10). Washout and other hopefuls audition for a spot on X-Force in the Mohave Desert. The Orphan

then appears on Lacuna's TV show to talk about Edie.

WEAPON X #0.5 (13-16)

Probably the same day as XFO 129 (11-19), since the Director recruits Washout from the X-Force open tryout shown in that

issue. Washout is transformed into a water-based life form.

CALL OF DUTY: THE BROTHERHOOD #1 (27:3-29)

The day after COD:B 1 (21-27). MacDonald is placed off duty for "seven days" and he watches his "brothers" go out on a call.

Green trees in New York.

ELEKTRA v2 #11 - FB (5-6)

One day, "three weeks" before ELEK2 11. This segment should occur after PUN6 27 (14-23). Elektra is now in Miami, still job

hunting.

SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #19 (1-4)

One day. A few days after getting out of prison, the Grizzly gets his first welfare check and puts his ad in the personals looking

for an "animal lover picnic partner." Later finds out Rhino lives at the same apartment complex Grizzly asks Rhino to keep out

of his way because he's now going straight.

Tuesday, July 30

WEAPON X: THE DRAFT - SAURON #1 (1-7)

One day, sometime after WX.5 (13-16), according to Jeph. The Director informs Kane, Mesmero, Sauron, Wild Child, and

Agent Jackson that they have assignments to bring new recruits into the Weapon X program. Marrow is not present, presumably

because her surgery of WX:M 1 (1-18) has not yet occurred. Sauron flies to Xavier's to recruit Emma Frost, who is seen with

the diamond-like skin she acquires in X 116. Frost takes control of Sauron's mind and sends him away to fetch his "plan B"

recruit. Green grass and trees in New York.

AGENT X #1 (13:3-13:4)

The day after AX 1 (12-13). It is Agent X's "training day two."

SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #19 (5-13)

The Grizzly finds he has no messages for his personal, a "summer" day with hot temperatures, the day after TW 19 (1-4). He

then sees the Rhino everywhere he goes, later that night he has a few drinks at the V-Bar and after the Rhino steals his last little

piece of toilet paper they start fighting and break the wall; outside Spider-Man beats them and leaves them tied up. Full moon.

WOLVERINE v2 #186

One day, shortly after W2 185 (9-21). This story is a follow-up to PUN6 17, and it's clear that Logan and the Punisher haven't

seen each other since then, so this story must occur before PUN6 33. Upset about Logan's handling of Johnny Delacavva, the

Punisher goes after the mutant, who defeats him. Green grass and bushes.

[BTS]

One day, two years before ("the year before last") X:ES 1. While traveling for "six weeks" recruiting mutants for the Institute, Scott Summers meets a boy surnamed Landru.

UNCANNY X-MEN #409 (12-13)

One night, "two weeks" after UX 409 (1-11). All that time, Stacy X has used her power to distract the Vanisher. Shortly before

the arranged meeting seen in UX 409 (14-24).

Wednesday, July 31

AGENT X #1 (13:5-13:6)

The day after AX 1 (13:3-13:4). On "training day three," Agent X gets beaten up by Taskmaster. It is "a few days" before AX

1 (14).

GHOST RIDER v3 #5 (3)

One day, two days after GR3 5 (1-2). On "Wednesday" at "3:26 A.M.," Gunmetal catches up with Johnny Blaze in Sioux Falls

but Johnny escapes.

UNCANNY X-MEN #409 (14-24)

The narrative tells us that it's "Wednesday, July 3." I suggest that a digit is missing and that it's actually Wednesday, July 31. It

is shortly after UX 409 (12-13). The X-Men put the Vanisher out of business.

SOLDIER X #7 (1-21)

One day, "a week" after SX 6. Nathan saves a bunch of children from death at the order of Pakistani General Daid-Khan, who is

killed. Nathan encounters Nigel Novotny, aka Blaquesmith. Snow on the ground in the mountains of Kashmir. Full moon.

WEAPON X: THE DRAFT - SAURON #1 (8-19)

Probably the day after WX:S 1 (1-7), given the fact that Sauron comes to his senses and realizes that he has flown from New

York to Australia. While Sauron recruits Jack in Australia (where we see green grass and trees), the Director, Agent Jackson,

and Kane discuss the probability of success for other Weapon X members on a night with a full moon.

SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #19 (14-17)

The night after TW 19. Grizzly gets somebody answering for his personal ad but realizes he's out of practice. Later the Rhino,

who also just got a date, cheers him up telling him a thing he learned "lately" (in TW 5-6) don't try to be something you're not

and just be yourself. Grizzly goes back and sets up a date for "tomorrow at 3:00" at the zoo.

WEAPON X: THE DRAFT - WILD CHILD #1 (1-4:4)

WEAPON X: THE DRAFT - WILD CHILD #1 (10:4-17)

On a night with a full moon, Wild Child breaks Aurora out of a psychiatric hospital in Manitoba (where she has been since W2

173/2), where it is snowing. This segment must occur after Aurora's appearance with Alpha Flight in W2 172. It is "six months"

after WX:WC 1-FB.

Thursday, August 1

SOLDIER X #7 (22)

Early the morning after SX 7 (1-21). Nathan and Blaquesmith leave the Kashmir village at sunrise.

WEAPON X: THE DRAFT - WILD CHILD #1 (18-20)

Early the morning after WX:WC 1 (10-17). Agent Jackson retrieves Wild Child and Aurora in snowy Manitoba. It is "three

months" before WX:WC 1 (21-23).

WEAPON X: THE DRAFT - SAURON #1 (20-22)

The morning after WX:S 1 (8-19). Sauron returns from Australia with Jack in a box. We see an uninjured Kane here, so this

segment occurs before WX:M 1 (1-18).

INHUMANS v4 #1 (1-7)

One day. The Inhumans play ball on the moon. The snow and bare trees in New York must be topical. Full moon.

NEW X-MEN #127

One day. A mutant community is starting to grow in Alphabet City. Professor X is walking without difficulty, so this story must

occur after entries we've slated to occur during a period of weeks of his physical therapy - ORDER 5-6, END 6 (20-22), and NA:I2 4. Paris is probably rebuilding BTS.

SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #19 (18-20:3)

One day. The Grizzly hides thinking his date is an approaching fat lady and a zoo guard fires him a dart putting him to sleep,

thus missing his date. At night the Grizzly apologizes through the internet and manages to get another date.

WEAPON X: THE DRAFT - MARROW #1 (1-18)

One day. Given the full moon in WX:M 1 (19-22), this segment probably occurs the same day as WX:S 1 (20-22). The

Weapon X program transforms Marrow's body to pass for normal. It is right after her surgery that Marrow is given her orders,

which other Weapon X inductees already received in WX:S 1 (1-19). "Hours" after the surgery, she goes on assignment and

wounds Agent Kane badly enough that he needs "minor rehab," and possibly badly enough to delay his own "Draft" assignment,

so placement here is between WX:S 1 (20-22) and WX:K 1.

GHOST RIDER v3 #5 (4-22)

The night of the day after GR3 5 (3). Johnny meets a girl named Piston and they go to a bar. Gunmetal catches up with Johnny

and a chase ensues, culminating in the death of Gunmetal's friend Magnus.

GHOST RIDER v3 #6 (1-4)

The same night as GR3 5 (4-22). On a "Thursday night," Gunmetal hurls a grenade at Ghost Rider and leaves with Magnus.

Friday, August 2

WEAPON X: THE DRAFT - MARROW #1 (19-22)

In the very early morning, "hours" after the end of WX:M 1 (1-18), and with full moon visible (on the night following the full

moon of WX:S 1 (1-19), Marrow completes her assignment, killing
