X 120: The woman with Dave Cockrum?

page 10 panel 3: The MCP and the official X-Men index both identify Dave Cockrum's companion as Bonnie Wilford (Chris Claremont's wife at the time). But it seems more likely that she is Paty Cockrum. In other appearances Bonnie is always depicted as a blonde and Paty as a brunette. (See this page fo...

Re: Cover Appearances

A somewhat similar situation exists with the Blue Blaze. His handbook entry mentions an alleged encounter with the Vampire of Doom. Said vampire's sole "appearance" to date was a mention in the "next issue" panel at the end of the Blaze's story in Mystic Comics #4. No Blue Blaze story appeared in th...

Re: Earth-7642/Earth-Crossover Chronology

They've also said that the appearances of Mantis in issues of Justice League of America and Scorpio Rose are the 616 Mantis who was dimension-hopping at the time. Does it explicitly state the words "Justice League of America", "Aquaman", "Atom" (Ray Palmer), "Elongated Man" or "The Construct" (Ditt...

Re: Earth-7642/Earth-Crossover Chronology

Marvel have no rights, and have never had rights, to Archie. So they can't, from our POV, unilaterally declare it to be in the Marvel Universe - we would also need a declaration from ARCHIE that it was so. As I see it, Marvel isn't declaring that all of Archie/Riverdale exists in the Marvel Univers...

Re: Earth-7642/Earth-Crossover Chronology

When the Marvel Universe crosses over with another publisher's universe, it must be presented as two separate universes crossing, not existing in the same universe, to qualify for a listing The above qualification is a completely sensible one. A) The very nature of these sorts of stories often make...

Re: Some Stories Missing from MCP

Thanks to Spider-verse, we have a reality where Spider-Man and the other heroes actually defeated villains with Twinkies. Similar events happened on Earth-616, just without the sponge cake business. Well according to Man Mountain Marko's handbook entry, in his particular case Hostess cupcakes actua...

Re: Update

I noticed that Fred Hembeck's Petey stories have been removed from 616 character chronologies and placed within new "Hembeck Universe" character chronologies. The Petey stories were confirmed as 616 in the Thor index.

Anthromorpho

His name is spelled incorrectly. It should be Anthropomorpho.

Re: Living Tribunal

Since Last Planet Standing isn't 616, I placed it by publication date. Shouldn't it be in The Future, like the GOTG appearances (just +15 years rather than +1000!)? Probably. Although it's likely not the same future as GOTG. Plus, in light of recent events, it's not certain how much of a future exi...

Re: MCP chronologies vs Handbook chronologies

"After assisting Power Pack in curing a maddened Nova, Galactus was drawn back to Earth by the power of the Phoenix Force, briefly battling its then-host, Rachel Summers..." I don't think the two stories reference each other; the ordering decision may ultimately have been somewhat arbitrary. In lieu...

MCP chronologies vs Handbook chronologies

Is there a general policy for when the MCP's chronologies disagree with the Handbooks'? Just to pick one example, you list Galactus' appearances in PP 56 & 58 as taking place after XCAL 24 & 25, whereas his handbook entry has it the other way around.

Stories not clearly referenced in anything official (to my knowledge), but I don't see any good reason to not include them : Dark Shadows #34 (for Silver Dagger, caterpillar character from Dr. Strange) Hulk/Pitt Iron Man/X-O Manowar: In Heavy Metal #1 Marvel Heroes #33 (Panini; for Death's Head) Pr...
