Re: Rawhide Kid - the Sensational Seven

I looked thru a few stray issues from my Rawhide Kid comics, and they all seem to fall into the 1872-1876 period, and Tombstone appears to be up and running in those as well.

Re: Patsy Walker 122-124

Based on the data supplied by Clive_Reston, i've worked out the following chronologies that would need to be added for recurring characters within the issues, but it needs to be double-checked, and other titles need to be collated, such as Millie the Model.. BAXTER, COL. BOB "BUZZ" PW 114 P&H 95 (1-...

Re: Patsy Walker 122-124

I think it's possible that at least some of the Patsy Walker stories going back to at least PW 114 are canon. In issue 114 Patsy and Buzz become engaged. Issue 115 has Buzz joining the army, issue 116 is Patsy's graduation, and issue 117 also deals with Buzz being away in the army. These aren't make...

Patsy Walker 122-124

Patsy Walker #123 is specifically referenced in Avengers #144, during Patsy's recollections of actual events in her life. This issue, along with Patsy Walker 122 & 124, deal with Buzz Baxter's tenure in Viet-Nam, and constitute the final three issues of the series. I suggest that these three issues ...

Re: Rawhide Kid - the Sensational Seven

In Avengers 141-143, Thor, Moondragon, and Hawkeye, with the aid of the Rawhide Kid, the Two-Gun Kid, Kid Colt, the Night Rider, and the Ringo Kid, tackle Kang in Tombstone, Arizona in 1873. Since Tombstone wasn't founded until 1879 in our world, this era of history must be vastly different in E-616...

Re: Rise of the Black Panther #1

So it's possible the Wakandans themselves are heavy on the CH sound and pronounce it TCH without realizing it, and to a western ear, that sounds like the T is pronounced. So even when T'Challa is saying "Challa, no T, Kevin", Kevin is still hearing it as TCHalla. Hence his asking, "Ta-Challa?"

Re: Rise of the Black Panther #1

Because earlier that issue, Kevin had heard Monica Lynne use T'Challa's name, and i guess she must have pronounced the T'..

Nick Fury BTS in Champions 11

Here's one for Col_Fury - should Nick Fury have a BTS listing for Champions 11? On page 4, when Darkstar returns, Black Widow tells her she trusts the Customs Authorities weren't too hard on her, and Darkstar replies No, thanks to the intervention of Nick Fury. One would assume the intervention has ...

Re: Ghost Rider XXXIV/Johnny Blaze 1977 Chronology

Ah $#!% i hadn't read thru that far - another one of those Merry Marvel Muck-ups. In Champions 7-10, Blaze clearly has the power to transform under his own power, and being able to do so is even a part of the plot, as in Champions #7, Johnny is about to transform into GR in order to scare some info ...

Ghost Rider XXXIV/Johnny Blaze 1977 Chronology

I would like to propose an alteration to the Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze) chronology in relation to his appearances in Champions for 1977 issues. As it stands, there are sequences out of order in his chronology.. CHMPS 7 [GR displays the power to transform at will] PWJ2 17 (2)-FB M/VAULT:GAM&CHMPS PWJ...

Re: Rise of the Black Panther #1

Flags of Our Father is basically an expansion on/fleshing out of BP3 30-FB anyway, just with added Howling Commandos. Plus Baron Von Strucker, Red Skull, Warrior Woman, and others. Also in Flags, T'Chaka's father is named Azzuri, and is the Black Panther whom Cap deals with. In BP3 30 flashback, Ca...

Rise of the Black Panther #1

Rise of the Black Panther doesn't look like it can be E-616 canon. It heavily references Captain America/Black Panther: Flags of Our Fathers, which in itself can't be canon.. or can it? Is it possible that the events of Captain America/Black Panther: Flags of Our Fathers could be placed between Capt...

Re: X-Men in Strange Tales v1 #128

I've just come across a reference in the Uncanny X-Men Official Index which may be relevant to this discussion. In the listing for Uncanny X-Men #488, under Guest Stars, it lists New Avengers (bts, exact members unspecified..) If it can be done that way in the Official Index, perhaps it could be don...
