Re: what are your Marvel firsts?

I was 6 years old when I got my first introductions to the Marvel Comics. First was in November 1982 when I got Hulk 1982-11 reprinting Incredible Hulk (vol. 2) #263 and #264. (September and October 1981). http://img.tradera.net/images/171/256484171_92b72f3f-9933-473d-b81d-76ff67b90b57.jpg Second wa...

Re: Spider-Man #½

ASM2 2 goes straight into a storyline with Iceman and Shadrac, as right in the beginning of issue ASM2 3 Peter Parker thinks about that he just left the new Spider-(Wo)Man on the roof of the building you see him jump off on. He doesn't even have webshooters yet, which makes him fall and slide and la...

Re: Spider-Man #½

There is a problem with that placing. Peter Parker doesn't become Spider-Man again until the last page of ASM2 2. Until then it was the new Spider-Woman that was Spider-Man during the start of the Volume 2 runs.

Somebody wrote:Wasn't this the digital Otto Octavius that was subsequently downloaded into his brain the first time he was brought back from the dead?
Yes, that's the explanation why he did not remember Peter Parker is Spider-Man. The digital copy of his memories was made before he found out.

Second story : Professor X Cyclops Marvel Girl Iceman Angel Beast Bobby is in his icy form, so this must occur after UX 8. The students are still learning the rules of using the Danger Room, so I wouldn't put it much past UX 8. So, I'd say it's everyone's next appearance after UX 8. Professor Xavie...

Re: Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Comic Magazine

Yes, they should, in my opinion. Months of research have revealed that years ago, the Earth was visited by alien beings--creatures of phenomenal powers and abilities--but the United States government has kept the existence of those extra-terrestrial visitations top secret! It was a simple matter for...

Re: Naming conventions

It sounds like you're suggesting we continue to do things the way we're already doing things. [...] When you go to the Search page and look up CA 327, it (will eventually) say that SUPER-PATRIOT/CAPT. JOHN WALKER appears there. When you look up CA 338, it (will eventually) say that CAPTAIN AMERICA ...

Re: Naming conventions

I think what he's saying is that we list Johnnie Walker's complete chronology under WALKER, CAPT. JOHN SUPER-PATRIOT/CAPT. JOHN WALKER CAPTAIN AMERICA VI/CAPT. JOHN WALKER and USAGENT/CAPT. JOHN WALKER But what would happen when someone searches for Cap #327 is all four identities would come up. Ag...

Re: Naming conventions

In that case, when you look up Captain America #327 in the Search, it would say that WALKER, CAPT. JOHN/SUPER-PATRIOT/CAPTAIN AMERICA VI/USAGENT appears in that comic. We're still left with the same problem. He's not all three identities in Cap #327, he's just Super-Patriot. Uh no, you list every c...

Re: Naming conventions

Now, if you look up Captain America #327 in the Search here at the MCP, it says that USAgent appears. Well, no, Super-Patriot is in that comic. (of course, we've already split up USAgent's chronology into his three identities, but the Search hasn't been updated to reflect that yet) We update USAgen...

Re: Naming conventions

To elaborate, no one (or close to no one) is going to look for Spider-Man on the "P" page for Parker, Peter, or for the Thing on the "G" page for Grimm, Ben. Which is why you could have a referal links like this: Spider-Man I (Peter Parker), See Parker, Peter Chronology Page THI...
