Re: Captain America: White

Welcome Nausiated, These are good ideas you have on SHIELD. They only need to be picked up by a Marvel writer (and this includes the Official index writers as they have sometimes to clean up the chronology) before we can use them in our analyses. On the subject of memory, I have seen a TV documentar...

Re: Captain America: White

A number of casual thoughts (I'm not familiar with the Sgt Fury & His Howling Commandos material): Winter of 41 coiuld be construed as Winter of 41-42 and that would extend the date of the Howling Commandos team-up to 20 March 1942. Fury could have searched for Cap's real identity and face, found th...

Re: CA&BUCKY 625-628-FBs

I had a post here with explanations earlier in the thread: http://www.chronologyproject.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5966&p=37229#p37229 But I would revise it as follows: Naslund chronology: CAPTAIN AMERICA COMICS 53/3-FB (childhood memories) INV 14 INV 15 CA5 4-FB (Spirit of '76 fighting on after...

Re: ROBIN HOOD (FANDRAL), KING RICHARD THE LIONHEARTED AND THE THIRD CRUSADE

As an aside, the reason why Marvel writers implied Fandral was Robin Hood is their connection to actor Errol Flynn. Fandral is based on Flynn and Flynn played Robin Hood.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man v3 #1.1-1.5

I attempted this but gave up when I couldn't resolve whether schiffman reaches Spidey before or after the funeral.

According to the index, there are more issues yet to include in this timeframe:

Fantastic Four v5 #6

Per interviews with the artist the flashback is meant to take place during the Kirby era. I saw nothing that would contradict that placement. Actually I only saw a mention to #40 as the last time he was Ben Grimm, so this is before #78-79. They have their classic costumes. The only striking element ...

Re: Mystic Hands of Doctor Strange #1

For the 3rd story, I'd place this more recently, for example during the time when Jericho Drumm was Sorcerer Supreme.
Strange was seen drinking in Fraction's Defenders and also sleeping with students, which is uncharacteristic.
Around H2 126, he was living with Clea, can't have been too despondent.

Re: Winter Soldier: The Bitter March v1 #2

Captain America gives Bucky a lesson during training.-FB

This happens while he's got his triangular shield, so after Bucky is assigned to be his partner in
CA5 14 (21:3 - 21:6)-FB

but probably before their first mission in
TOS 63/2 (8:4 - 10:5) = CA:SL2 12 (17 - 20:4)

Re: Winter Soldier: The Bitter March v1 #3

Captain America lectures Bucky about murdering a defeated foe.-FB From the picture, this takes place in a concentration camp. I analysed Cap's flashbacks related to concentration camps here: http://www.chronologyproject.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7671&p=41431#p41413 CA 237-FB Cap charges the bar...

Re: Winter Soldier: The Bitter March v1 #4

Captain America gives Bucky a speech before going into battle.-FB
Captain America and Bucky race in to fight Baron Zemo.-FB

I think they're both depictions of Cap's last stand vs Zemo (same launching ramp in the background)
