Re: Hashing out X-Men post utopa-pre regenesis

Thing about putting A:CC after Fear Itself is that Colossus appears as his pre-Juggernaut self (there's also a lead-in story by Heinberg & Coipel in UX 526/2 to consider, although it's sufficiently loose to be severable if it becomes strictly necessary). Much as I like the idea of putting it af...

Can we just write off that costume entirely as a topical reference? :-)

Re: X-Men: Prelude to Schism

Since the title is "Prelude" to Schism, and the threat is not specifically mentioned. I'm leaning more to after Fear Itself, but before Schism. It should also come after Rogue's team gets back from space and before the "Dark Angel" saga in Uncanny X-Force. I think Avengers: The ...

Re: New Marvels on December 28

This would appear to be the January 4th list. Or at least, none of those comics appeared to be out when I went to the comics store today, and a whole bunch of others were out instead.

Re: Name that 2001 celebrity!

There's plenty of other fictional characters who are real in the MU (not counting the Marvel characters themselves), so no reason Ali G couldn't be. And it'd be very weird for Sacha Baron Cohen to go along to a sporting event as Ali G unless he was performing (no evidence that he is), as weird as i...

Re: Name that 2001 celebrity!

The one at the centre of the front row is Ali G, a character played by Sacha Baron Cohen. True! I mentioned that in my original post, though. -Jeph! Oh, sorry, I somehow missed that. But anyway, it should probably be listed under SACHA BARON COHEN rather than ALI G, unless evidence is presented tha...

Re: X-Men: Prelude to Schism

It doesn't really fit with Fear Itself - in that, the X-Men go and actively try to defend San Francisco from the big threat, rather than wait to defend Utopia as they are doing in Prelude. [I do wonder whether Prelude was supposed to tie in more closely with Schism, but Schism ended up being differe...

Re: definitive lists of Avengers line-ups

Hello. I thought I'd post a link to the result - at http://cryosphere.net/~morwen/myths/avengers , which is a first attempt at doing Avengers #1 through to the present day, with some elisions and simplifications.

Corrections gladly accepted. :-)

definitive lists of Avengers line-ups

Hello folks, I'm making an "Avengers Family Tree", depicting various line-ups of the Avengers over the years. This is particularly useful for the modern period with its multiple line-ups, but I'd like to extend it backwards too. So far I've got a gap for the brief period between 1964 and 2...

MA#15 also confirms there is at least a 2-month gap between Ultron attack in MA#1-#6 and SI#1.

Re: New Avengers Annual #2 -- what the #$%^&!?

Dr. Strange's prominent role in the last few "Avengers/Invaders" solicits is starting to raise some flags in my head... -Jeph! And A/I 2 has the New Avengers, including red-and-blue-suit Spidey, hanging at Doctor Strange's. Is the least-energy solution to assume that NA's depiction of Spi...

And, isn't that Havok I spy on page 21, dumbfounded with the rest of the heroes?
