NSUB@ 4

Currently, we have NSUB@ 4 and NSUB@ 4/2 placed between NSUB 53 and NSUB 54. That doesn't work. Namor is still returning from his adventure in NSUB 53 at the start of NSUB 54.

Re: Rise of the Black Panther #1

It gets worse- in Rise of the Black Panther 2, Namor is wearing his blue and yellow costume but this issue takes place before T'Challa met the FF. Re: Azarri and Chanda- blame Roy Thomas. In Kirby's Black Panther series, the Panther's paternal grandfather was named Azarri but in Fantastic Four Unlim...

Re: Ghost Rider XXXIV/Johnny Blaze 1977 Chronology

The problem is that in Champions 12, there's a footnote that says the issue "takes place before the developments in Ghost Rider 22" and in context they seem to mean Johnny's ability to control his transformations.

ST3

Currently, we have ST3 posted in between FF 395 and 396. However, as fnord points out in his recent review of that issue, that doesn't work: http://www.supermegamonkey.net/chronocomic/entries/strange_tales.shtml Ben's face is unscarred-it was scarred at the time in FF and Strange (who we don't have ...

Re: CX placement changes per X-Men Classic Omnibus

Well, Classic X-Men 40/2 has to take place after X-Men 130-131, since Kurt makes reference to the Hellfire Club's faceless goons.

Re: X-Men: Grand Design v1 #1

The problem isn't that it doesn't mention anything after 1991- that in and of itself isn't enough to strike a series from canon- but that it's a resequencing of events- for example, Xavier doesn't meet Moira until after he loses the use of his legs.

Flashbacks in X-Men: Grand Design #1

Note that some of the flashbacks are inconsistent with 616 continuity- for example, Scott, Warren, Bobby and Hank are depicted as meeting Jean during the fight with the Conquistador.

Re: Doctor Strange appearance in Incredible Hulk 207 references his appearance in Dr Strange 19

One thing- WCA2 20 takes place while Strange is still in the eighteenth century after the story in Doctor Strange 17-19, so it has to take place immediately after those issues.

Re: Generations: The Archers-Hawkeye/Hawkeye v1 #1

But present Steve doesn't remember past Steve talking to Sam in the Captain America Generations. I guess Kobik sent Kate to the past and Sam to an alternate reality?

Re: Luke Cage, Power Man #31 & Power Man Annual 1 (1976)

BTW, while we're on the subject of Omega, could someone please explain to me why Nitro's appearance in OU 8 is placed after CM 54, when CM 54 explicitly takes place after OU 8?

Re: Iron Man's appearance in Werewolf By Night 42-43

In Avengers 152, Iron Man states that he recently fought beside the Werewolf, with an editorial note stating that was in issue 42 of WBN. At the moment, the Iron Man chronology has the order like this, as per the Iron Man Official Index to the Marvel Universe, but i would submit this is an error, a...

Re: the 'NAM!

The 'Nam! series is weird, though, because in the early issues the characters talk about superheroes as if they're fictional. The real explanation is that Marvel changed its mind halfway through about whether or not it's happening in 616.

Re: Generations: The Americas-Sam Wilson: Captain America/Steve Rogers: Captain America v1 #1

Note that the dialogue implies that this is not the past of 616, since there's no evidence of Sam in the history books.

Are we sure those are Neanderthals? Neanderthals only appeared about 350,000 years ago.
