Re: Placement of Avengers Children's Crusade

Doesn't that still place Children's Crusade before Three and Fear Itself, though? Cap's costume isn't a big deal-- Jim Cheung admitted that he drew Iron Man in outdated armor by mistake-- but there are a number of other reasons why placing A:CC before FF #587 and FI causes problems: *The Avengers An...

Re: Placement of Avengers Children's Crusade

Tom Brevoort said that Children's Crusade takes place before Doom joins the Future Foundation in FF #1. So that would mean that it takes place before X-Men 16-19 too. As for the Avengers/New Avengers annuals, they specify on the recap page that they take place before Fear Itself, and thus before Chi...

Re: Daredevil 354

Yeah, there was a thread a while ago that pointed that out, along with a number of other problems with Clone Saga continuity: http://www.chronologyproject.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4942. Not sure if anything was ever settled or not. It was a very confusing time for Spider-Man comics, and th...

Re: Wolverine: Son of Canada - where does it fit?

UXM #383 came out in August 2000. X #109 came out in February 2001. This issue came out in April 2001. The Green Goblin appeared in ASM2 #25 and PPSM2 #25, which is a pretty cool coincidence. Could his bts appearance here tie into those two issues? Wasn't that the storyline where Peter WAS the Gree...

Re: MAJOR disasters, invasions, and battles on Marvel Earth

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_events_of_the_Marvel_Universe Thanks. It's not quite complete but it's way more extensive than I'd expected Wikipedia to be. This should make a very good starting point. When you mentioned big attacks that are never referenced again, the first thing I thought of...

MAJOR disasters, invasions, and battles on Marvel Earth

I need some help for a project/potential story I'm working on. I'm trying to come up with a list of all of the MAJOR events that've taken place on Earth in the Marvel Universe. I'm not talking about things like your run-of-the-mill supervillian attacks, because that'd encompass practically every Mar...

Re: Siege timeline

Yes. It seems like it has to be, for the Hood's departure from Camp Hammond to correspond with his arrival at Asgard.

Re: Flashbacks in Web of Spider-Man v2 #8

Does the Thing's (fist's) appearance give us anything? I also remember an issue (from around the same time as the one I mentioned earlier) where Spider-Man accidentally knocked over the Thing's donuts. The issue ended there with the heavy implication that Spidey was about to get an ass-kickin'. May...

Re: Flashbacks in Web of Spider-Man v2 #8

LOL! Wasn't there an old issue of Peter Parker Spider-Man where Peter was depressed, went to visit Uncle Ben's grave in the rain, and then got splashed with mud from a car speeding by? I feel like that would fit with these scenes pretty well.

Re: Siege timeline

Sure. I'm not 100% familiar with your usual format, but I did my best to emulate the style you were using. Here are the proposed changes: SIEGE: EMBEDDED #2 (6-22) The same morning as A:INIT 32-FB (5-7). During his live coverage in Oklahoma City, Keller gets a visit from Iron Patriot, who he discove...

Re: Siege timeline

Wow, that's a really detailed timeline, good job fitting everything together so well. Most of my confusion came from thinking that Cap and the others confront Osborn immediately after Asgard falls; once I realized there was a gap between pages 19 and 20 of Siege 3, placing issues like the Captain Am...

I thought Willian Nguyen getting fired was supposed to coincide with the original fight between Spider-Man and the Juggernaut, in ASM 230?

Siege timeline

Does anyone have a timeline of Siege, like when all of the crossovers and tie-in books are supposed to take place? So far I've been unable to find one anywhere.

Re: Richard Nixon and CA 175

So how would you handle recent books where Bush or Obama are seen and referred to by name, or at least drawn in such a way that it's unmistakably them? What about books where the President is shown, but not mentioned by name and deliberately not shown clearly enough for his identity to be apparent?
