Re: The New Mutants in UX #175?
Should mention: Dani was referred to as Psyche in M/TU@ 6, which is placed between NM 4-5. I think Dani only went by Spellbinder during the X&M mini. The Unofficial Appendix site makes this note in the entry for the Entity (the big-bad in X&M): In the X-Men/Microverse#1, the alias "Spe...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
Really? It's the only problem I've noticed. Is there a thread about this? I'd be curious to read it. I genuinely think it fits perfectly well between the pages of Exc 11, except for the costume thing. (I cringe to imagine what I have overlooked ... :) ) Without grabbing the issues, which are probab...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
And there's a perfect example in a Claremont-written book of that exact time - Captain Britain's costume is shredded by Kitty with the Soulsword during Excalibur's Inferno tie-in arc (while he was demon-transformed, no less!). And with no working costume his powers consequently start to fail until ...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
I think you're exaggerating a bit there, Doot. Who, me? In seriousness, I see where everyone's coming from. As you note, in either "solution," authorial intent has to be messed with to make things work. I'd again point to the fact that issue 8 of Wolverine refers to the events of i...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
Somebody, do you genuinely believe your solution is less complicated, or do you just like it better because it is yours ? Short version? I'm looking for any solution that doesn't involve reordering pages within an issue - doubly so since W2 7 is so clearly intended to take place over a single night...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
Or we could just assume that this was a replacement for the armor damaged in X-Men 243, which doesn't involve splitting either of the issues up. Is there any reason, aside from the Index, that this doesn't work? Well, it would mean that Wolverine #10 takes place post-"Inferno." That creat...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
But Storm,Logan and Longshot never went through the Siege and the idea that they were permanently affected was dropped too. But Storm pretty much got "reset" as well, by Nanny. Longshot quit the team in the same issue that Storm was kidnapped, and never came back. In Claremont land (or th...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
Leaving the specifics aside for the moment (since I can't be bothered to pull out all these issues AGAIN in short order - I'll just say that, yeah, I saw the end of UX 244, but I'm prepared to say that Maddie made a habit of knocking herself out...), and just going for the thing Russ just brought u...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
Is there any reason Landau,Luckman and Lake couldn't have just made an extra set of armor for Betsy in case one was damaged and Jessan wore the spare set? That's not a bad idea. Sabretooth does damage Psylocke's armor in UX 243. Maybe the armor in W2 5-7 is replacement armor because of that inciden...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
C'mon, it wasn't anywhere NEAR eight. If you hadn't done the double-post to start with, it wouldn't even have been twice :p I'm counting the times I said it the last time this came up. You ignored it then, too! Pull the front half of UX 232 back to its' original position, and pull UX@ 12 back with ...

Re: Wolverine Vol2 7
Unfortunately, he's kinda right if you take the armour's appearances as sacrosanct , even if it IS a Bendis-level continuity trainwreck that requires the cross-referencing of umpteen comics. The basic problem's what he said (in a post I didn't actually notice, Doot - the reason you shouldn't post t...
