I'm glad to see the Amalgam stories added to the site. :) Just a quick note about some other items I've posted breakdowns for here: Amazing High Adventure #1 Avengers Battle the Earth-Wrecker Strange Combat Tales #1-4 all the Earth-7642 (Earth-Crossover) stories Are these not going to be adde...

Re: Pre Universe and Post Universe

Earth-92131 is the universe wherein Galan of Taa (later Galactus of 616) originated, as made clear in the Adventures of the X-Men series and confirmed by the handbooks. Regarding universes from other continuities, I wouldn't be so quick to discount them. In Adventures of the X-Men #12, the Living Tr...

Re: Rawhide Kid - the Sensational Seven

Rawhide refers to the Lone Ranger in his 2003 series. That mean's it's already been confirmed that there's a 616 Lone Ranger.

Re: Strange Combat Tales #1-4 and Amazing High Adventure #1

In which handbooks those comic books was referenced? Mystic Arcana: The Book of Marvel Magic contains an appendix of mystical swords, talismans, and tomes. At the end of the appendix is this: For an unabridged listing of magic items, see http://www.marvunapp.com/list/appmagic.htm If you click on th...

Re: Strange Combat Tales #1-4

I forgot that Oliver Cromwell also has an appearance in Amazing High Adventure #1, which means I need to update his chronology. I figured, why not just do the whole issue, rather than cover just one character from it? So here's a breakdown for each story in #1, along with an updated Cromwell chronol...

Re: Squadron Sinister #1-4

Interesting that all those DC character items appear. I wonder if maybe Battleworld had included an alternate version of Earth-7642 (Earth-Crossover) or one of the other Earths that also contained DC characters (e.g., Not Brand Ecch, or Pow! Biff! Pops!) and the Squadron killed them and kept their i...

Strange Combat Tales #1-4 and Amazing High Adventure #1

This is an obscure series from the 90s. Most stories published under the "Epic" banner aren't 616, but the handbooks have referenced this series, so it's among the few Epic stories that are 616. I hope I've gotten the formatting correctly below. STRANGE COMBAT TALES #1 (Oct 1993) By Rob Stofega and ...

Re: An oddly named ASM “mini” from the early ’90s

Sweet! I'm glad to see some of these promotional books being covered. A number of others have been confirmed to be 616 by the handbooks. Do you plan to cover more of them?

Re: Cover Appearances

Interesting. I wasn't familiar with the idea of a coververse. In any case, MCP's listing for Hercules should at least be updated to include his full name, which is Varen David.

Re: Cover Appearances

Well, there's nothing confusing about the handbook entry. It just says that Hercules once rescued FDR from being hit by a train, just as is depicted on the cover of Mystic Comics #4. The Hercules story inside that issue is a different story, so the handbook references both incidents. Since the handb...

Cover Appearances

Is it the MCP's policy to ignore character appearances on covers when the covers depict a story that isn't actually in the issue? I was prompted to ask when I noticed that the handbook entry for Hercules (Varen David) includes the events from the cover of Mystic Comics #4, even though the Hercules s...

Skagg in JLA/Avengers 4

The Thor Index mistakenly says that Skagg's only appearance is in Journey into Mystery #104. But that's not true, since he also appears in JLA/Avengers #4. MCP is also missing this appearance.

Re: Willie Lumpkin in LLIZZIE 5?

No one can explain this Lizzie story being included? Someone here had to make the decision to include it in Willie's chronology, right?
