Re: Comics Missing from the Timely/Atlas List

This explains why I've listed some Patsy Walker issues below because, even though y'all don't include Patsy's stories, sometimes other characters (like Cindy Smith) would have stories included in Patsy issues. Your list you link to in the CMRO forum appears to include Patsy stories though (e.g., "1...

Comics Missing from the Timely/Atlas List

I've been compiling for the Complete Marvel Reading Order what we've been calling the Handbook Reading Order. This includes everything from the main 616 reading order from the Golden Age to the present, as well as everything we're including in the "Expanded Marvel Reading Order" (which includes alte...

Re: Complete List of Marvel Comics?

I would be very interested in a list like this. Do you only intend to include comics? Or do you intend to include all 616 stories no matter what format they're in? I intend to include all forms of media from all universes, but will start with comics for now. Cool. Regarding comics, don't forget to ...

Re: Two-Gun Kid question

Basically, if we want a bunch of books done, we lock Fury in his room and tell him he can't eat until he's finished. He hasn't missed a meal yet ;) I'm fairly effective when food's at stake (or is that steak?). I'd also love to get back into getting some more Golden Age comics into the MCP, a...

Re: Two-Gun Kid question

Yes! That's it exactly. Are you volunteering? Doubtful. I'm not rich enough to own copies of all of those 50s comics, and even resorting to sailing the high seas still leaves lots of gaps, especially for the humor and romance comics. That's a shame, since Millie has a bazillion appearances (the han...

I have all the Two-Gun Kid's, but the westerns are not on the priority list right now.
Neither, apparently, are the Hyborian, 50s war/spy/crime, humor, or romance comics.

Re: Two-Gun Kid question

While TGK #60 seems to indicate the original Two-Gun Kid (Clay Harder) was just an in-universe fictional dime novel character, Marvel Westerns: The Outlaw Files reverses that and indicates that Clay Harder was a 616 character. The dime novels must have been in-universe fictions based upon his 616 ad...

Re: Spider-Verse realities

Good luck with integrating Spidey Super Stories with Electric Company Magazine. :-P

And since Spider-Boy appeared in a single panel, that's a perfect prompt to add the 616 Spider-Man's appearance in Spider-Boy Team-Up #1 to his chronology. :)

There's some further info about the difficulty of placing the 1976 Supes/Spidey crossover here.

Re: Just a for fun Spider-Man Question

Thanks! That's high praise coming from a guru here! :D Yeah, it's a really fun project, and since it's so huge there's plenty to work on for a long time. I'm especially looking forward to when the eventual Ultraverse reading order is added to the site, since I worked that one out myself. Since you'r...

Re: Just a for fun Spider-Man Question

The Complete Marvel Reading Order hasn't yet put up the planned "Everything Remotely Related to 616 Order" (which will include all of the Earth-Crossover stories), but once that goes up the 1976 Supes/Spidey story will be placed right after Omega the Unknown #3 ( link ). Focusing in just on Spidey, ...
