Re: Two-Gun Kid question

Yes! That's it exactly. Are you volunteering? Doubtful. I'm not rich enough to own copies of all of those 50s comics, and even resorting to sailing the high seas still leaves lots of gaps, especially for the humor and romance comics. That's a shame, since Millie has a bazillion appearances (the han...

Re: Two-Gun Kid question

Basically, if we want a bunch of books done, we lock Fury in his room and tell him he can't eat until he's finished. He hasn't missed a meal yet ;) Speaking of Conan and related books, anyone have 'em? (there's a bunch!) Nah, bunches are flowers. There's a bushel! Don't forget the Spidey/Red Sonja ...

I have all the Two-Gun Kid's, but the westerns are not on the priority list right now.
Neither, apparently, are the Hyborian, 50s war/spy/crime, humor, or romance comics.

Re: Two-Gun Kid question

While TGK #60 seems to indicate the original Two-Gun Kid (Clay Harder) was just an in-universe fictional dime novel character, Marvel Westerns: The Outlaw Files reverses that and indicates that Clay Harder was a 616 character. The dime novels must have been in-universe fictions based upon his 616 ad...

According to marvunapp (link) there are some more appearances of Weirdworld than you've listed above.

Re: Spider-Verse realities

Good luck with integrating Spidey Super Stories with Electric Company Magazine. :-P

And since Spider-Boy appeared in a single panel, that's a perfect prompt to add the 616 Spider-Man's appearance in Spider-Boy Team-Up #1 to his chronology. :)

There's some further info about the difficulty of placing the 1976 Supes/Spidey crossover here.

Re: Just a for fun Spider-Man Question

Thanks! That's high praise coming from a guru here! :D Yeah, it's a really fun project, and since it's so huge there's plenty to work on for a long time. I'm especially looking forward to when the eventual Ultraverse reading order is added to the site, since I worked that one out myself. Since you'r...

Re: Just a for fun Spider-Man Question

The Complete Marvel Reading Order hasn't yet put up the planned "Everything Remotely Related to 616 Order" (which will include all of the Earth-Crossover stories), but once that goes up the 1976 Supes/Spidey story will be placed right after Omega the Unknown #3 ( link ). Focusing in just on Spidey, ...

Re: Some Stories Missing from MCP

I just realized I forgot to include the 25th issue of Marvel UK's Secret Wars series, which included an original Spider-Man story.

Re: Foreign Produced Marvel Comics Original Stories

I may have just learned of two more Brazilian comics with original Marvel stories. According to here , the X-Men also appeared in the 19th issue of Edições GEP. A reprint or an original story? Also, according to that link as well as here , the X-Men character Unus appeared as a major character in Ra...

Some Stories Missing from MCP

Apologies if it's not kosher for a newbie to start a long list like this. And since I'm new, I'm hoping that I haven't just missed these stories. Stories that are clearly 616 (or involve characters who interact with 616 characters and should have an MCP entry), since they've been referenced i...

Re: Foreign Produced Marvel Comics Original Stories

I've been trying to compile a list of these foreign stories for eventual inclusion in the Complete Marvel Reading Order ( link ). I've listed several that haven't appeared in this thread so far in this thread at cxpulp: http://www.cxpulp.com/showthread.php?7257-Original-Marvel-Stories-Outside-the-US...
