Re: X-Men: First Class v2 #16 & Giant-Size X:FC

His only other appearance is in X:FC2 13. Elsewhere, there's short interview with Jeff Parker here - http://talkingwithtim.com/wordpress/2008/10/27/jeff-parker-on-giant-size-x-men-first-class/ There's not much detail, but it confirms that he's still very much writing it as in-continuity (he says he'...

Avengers: Fairy Tales #4

Avengers: Fairy Tales #4 appears to have an in-continuity framing sequence (set, given She-Hulk's costume and the fact that it involves an intact Avengers Mansion, some time during the Johns or Austen Avengers v3 runs): http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=1332&disp=table The s...

Re: Hank Pym/Skrull in Mighty Avengers #15/New Avengers #42

When I read that issue, (with the part where the "new" Yellowjacket declares himself "Criti Noll") I just assumed it was part of the spell, to help take the memories of the dead Criti Noll, along with the memories of Yellow Jacket, so that the transformation was flawless. Well: ...

Re: Wolverine: Origins 29

Hrmn. I suppose it's possible that Wolverine would have misgivings about Xavier messing with his head because he just went through dealing with amnesia, and he didn't want to forget the life he's lived since being found naked by the Hudsons. So while Xavier might have made Wolverine forget a few th...

Re: Hank Pym/Skrull in Mighty Avengers #15/New Avengers #42

And like the Hank Pym skrull in NA 45- Criti Noll. Been looking through some SI books there (are we going to get a definitive once-and-for-all list of who was replaced - and perhaps more importantly for us, when they were replaced, since it'll be crucial for their chronologies?), and "Criti No...

Re: Wolverine: Origins 29

Apparently, Wolverine’s amnesia was caused by Xavier, even though I thought it was caused by his experience in the Weapon X project. However, as revealed in W: O 28 Wolverine was still working for Romulus when he fought the Hulk, so he had to still have his memory after the Weapon X project. *tries...

Looks like Ultimate Shocker to me.

I doubt it could be considered canon - but if it is, it would be Ultimate U.

It's a Cosmic Cube-created puppet of the Red Skull's:

Re: X-Men: First Class v2 #16 & Giant-Size X:FC

Okay, first to get it out the way, the cover and indicia titles for this don't agree. The cover says "Giant-Sized X-Men First Class #1", the indicia "X-Men: First Class Giant-Size Special No. 1". I'll continue referring to GSX:FC 1 for simplicity. Second, GSX:FC 1/4 (written and ...

Re: Mighty Avengers #19 vs. SI:Who Do You Trust?/4

Does that work for you, Somebody? Depends if by that you mean "Do you see a better alternative?", to which the answer is "no." Geographically, it's hopelessly screwed (he flew up many levels from the congregation scene, and the room he walks out of exits into a corridor, and it ...

Re: AGE OF THE SENTRY #2 (w/ Carol Danvers and Silver Age)

Wolframbane, there are obvious contradictions in chronological placement in this story, as you point out in your character-by-character analysis. I suspect what's going on with Fury in this story indicates some kind of temporal anomaly that hopefully will be explained in a future issue. Until we fi...

Re: Thor: The Truth of History

Beats me. I thought it was THE Sphinx, and then he just left it behind? I don't know -- I'm sure it's been retconned about fifteen times by now. Well, I just had a look, and if you believe the Appendix, the Sphinx has at least four origins, and this is compatible with at least two of them (One of t...

Wasn't that *a* Sphinx rather than *THE* Sphinx? I'm pretty sure the Sphinx has been seen in modern-day stories.
