SI: Annihilation of the House of Macaroons [NAv #45 SPOILERS

Oh, THIS should give Paul B paroxysms ;). It's the "Skrulls in HoM" issue... Veranke (still as Jessica Drew) "wakes up" immediately after the reality warp in a HoM-SHIELD uniform on board the Helicarrier. A group including Rogue, Nightcrawler, Mystique, Toad and Quicksilver notic...

It's (possibly deliberately) contradictory. The trade dress on the fake cover in question is late 80s/early 90s though.

Re: New Marvels on September 24

As for Black Panther, is he just doing the Secret Invasion arc, or is he staying on after that? After the SI arc, Black Panther is either on hiatus or cancelled depending on who you ask. What they ARE doing, however, is a Storm mini (branded as X-Men: Worlds Apart ) which appears to be intended to ...

Re: Wolverine: Saudade

It was originally published in France (both the original writer and artist are French). Here's how the writer described it: For those who missed out on Wolverine: Saudade when it came out in France, can you provide a summary of what it's about? JDM: It starts in the early 90s when our hero went to B...

Mother Askani, Sanctity & misc.

Okay, four simple corrections here: 1) The name should be MOTHER ASKANI/RACHEL SUMMERS | CABLE/ASKANI TIMELINE (or somesuch - I'm not precious about the exact designation for the timeline, but it needs noted, and her real name added). 2) UX -1 is placed FAR too late in her chronology. It should be m...

Re: Wolverine: Saudade

I glanced at the US version today. It does not mention any specific time period on the last page, less still "fifteen years".

Re: Secret Invasion: Inhumans

We can put a gap either between NA:I2 5 and SECINV:INH 1 or between pages of SECINV:INH 1. That depends on how long you figure Stark would have held onto the Black Bolt Skrull before handing it over to the Inhumans. After Illuminati #5, easily. There may be a smaller gap duing SI:INH 1 so that Star...

Re: Marvel Calendar -- Latest Edition Now Online

Mentioning Cap helped me nail down exactly why Secret War cannot take place before Disassembled: Captain America v5. Fury, as head of SHIELD, is an integral part of the first 14 issues (apart from the Nomad FB and HoM issues, of course). That cannot be an LMD since real-Fury-in-exile references bein...

Re: Secret Invasion: Inhumans

Is anyone else seeing a continuity problem with Secret Invasion: Inhumans? Lots. And not just chronology problems - did the writer actually READ Silent War ? He seems to be working off a one-paragraph summary. A badly written one-paragraph summary at that... Medusa's appearance in a panel of SECRET...

Re: Hank Pym/Skrull in Mighty Avengers #15/New Avengers #42

I wrote the Siri entry in "SKRULLS!", and I got the name from New Avengers #40 p.18. This isn't a case of comic vs. handbook -- this is two comics, both written by the same guy, contradicting each other. Hoorah! Maybe she's one of those rare Skrulls that has two names, like Karant Kiar? M...

Re: Marvel Calendar -- Latest Edition Now Online

Wait... something's gone very wrong with that chronology. Secret War (the OYL part, at least) was meant to be just before NEW AVENGERS #1, not Disassembled - according to multiple Bendis interviews at the time of the much-delayed last issue, he actually rewrote it to sit there (and didn't the Pulse ...

Re: Marvel Calendar -- Latest Edition Now Online

Plus, the latest Jack O'Lantern (from Civil War) has been identified as a different person. I take your point on the rest - but Steve Levins, the one killed by the Punisher in CW, was the Jack O'Lantern who was a Cap villain in the latter part of Greunwald's run (and who fought Ben Reilly along wit...

X-Men: First Class v2 #16 & Giant-Size X:FC

Preview for X:FC2 16 is up @ http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=1040&disp=table , and the recap page confirms that it's the last issue of the ongoing, but there's the previously-announced Giant Size X-Men: First Class next month, and (according to the recap page) a miniseries...
