Re: How do we annotate 2-page spreads?

I haven't seen much of that, but you know, I like it.

Re: How do we annotate 2-page spreads?

We are gravitating toward treating the two-page spread, separated by a slash, as one page, i.e., 2/3:5 for the 5th panel of the "page" consisting of pages 2 & 3.

TV news, according to Sue, said that Doom was in Latveria, addressing a conference of ministers.
That would do it. And again, if we move FF 73, we must move DD too.

Re: Skaar: Son of Hulk #2-6 + "Savage World of Sakaar" one-shot

All of Caiera's appearances in these issues of Skaar (plus #1 after the reprise of H3 105) should be -VO. She doesn't reappear as a physical being until #8. I know you mentioned that in the analysis thread for Issue #1, but have we ever used "-VO" before? It's true that "BTS" isn't quite appropriat...

Re: Doom in ST 161-167 and FF 73

My memory is that it would be a rather tenuous behind-the-scenes appearance.

I will point out, though, that FF 73 takes places immediately after the Daredevil appearances, so if Doom's chronology is wrong, the DD stories will have to be moved, too.

Re: Captain America and Falcon placements

Okay.

Well, Part 1 ends with Sharon inviting Cap to go on a vacation with her. He accepts, but says, "Just let me get a good night's sleep, first." Part 2 opens with Steve in bed, trying to sleep.

I guess that "good night's sleep" came several nights later. Thanks for the clarification!

Re: Captain America and Falcon placements

Got another one. We currenly have Captain America appearing in Avengers 97 - 100 between CA 143 and 144. But we also have Nick Fury appearing in CA 144 between Avengers 97 and 98. Which means that CA 144 occurs before A 97 for Cap and after A 97 for Fury.

What does the Avengers Index say?

Re: Jean Grey's Appearances in Atlantis Attacks

New Mutants were reunited with them in front of a zillion reporters. Can the hyperbole. When you state things that can't be true, readers will doubt the veracity of your other statements. I don't follow your reasoning. If the New Mutants are reunited in front of some reporters, it does not follow t...

Might I suggest putting Dark Reign titles in spoiler tags? That way they're...y'know...dark.

Re: Captain America and Falcon placements

I'm not really comfortable with that. CA 138 begins with Falcon captured in Stone-Face's HQ. He's freed by Cap and Spider-Man, and the three of them defeat Stone-Face. Upon leaving Stone-Face's HQ on the last page, they notice the limo that is waiting for Cap. There's no place for Falcon to appear i...

Re: Captain America and Falcon placements

Hmmm...See, there's not really a break for Captain America between 138 and 139. On the last page of 138, Cap is picked up by a mysterious man who says, "I'll have to ask you to come with me now. We can't put it off any longer." Cap tells Falcon, "I have to leave for a while. I can't explain what it ...

Um, yes, there is a reason. Marvel (via the most recent Official Index) says that they take place somewhere else.

You have to show that the Index MUST be wrong.
