And NAM appears in both the Punisher's and Mike Phillips' chronologies. That should be a clue.

Re: Mephisto's historical alterations for OMD/BND

Marvel has said that MJ was never pregnant so those stories are not canon anymore. What? I think he's referring to this: http://www.comicboards.com/app/show.php?msg=smb-2008011818000000 Okay, couple of points. That's second-hand information from Marvel editorial. I'm not sure that "MJ was never pre...

Re: Gerber, Steve

SPOOF 4/2 Ummm...SPOOF isn't canon. marvunapp.com knows that it's Steve Gerber. Huh? Hardly. In fact, in their Gerber profile, Snood goes to the trouble of mentioning parenthetically that he only THINKS it's Steve Gerber. First Appearance: (As a writer for Marvel) (Adventure into) Fear#11 (December...

I elected to list it, because it shares a name with an existing character. The Man-Thing we know is not the first character with that name.

Re: References in Text stories.

All of your questions can be answered thus:

Characters don't "appear" in text, so the practical answer would be "No to text, yes to images."

1) No

2) No

3) No

4) Yes for images only, assuming the story is canon

5) Yes for images only

Re: Peter Parker: Spider-Man '01

Spiderfan.org places this annual between issues 2 and 3 of ASM, but the reviewer there refers to it as out-of-continuity. When the reviewer refers to it as "out of continuity," I believe they mean that it's not in current continuity, not that it's not canon. I don't see any reason to believe that t...

My personal preference would be not to include them, because it opens up worm cans, but I suppose that's up to the Directors.

Re: PPTSS 120 placement

My main assumption for placement is that Glory is not working for the Bugle issue 120. This is based solely on the scenes of Peter at the Bugle conferring w/ Robbie and Glory is nowhere in sight. Make your assumptions based on evidence, rather than lack of evidence. The more likely assumption is th...

Re: Graphical Chronology

You're selling off your collection?? Two questions spring to mind: 1. Can I ask why? Mrs. Uatu and I will be entering the housing market soon. Based on what I'm seeing for slabbed comics on eBay, I believe we could raise enough capital to buy a pretty decent house. Storage space is also an issue. I...
