Canonicity of Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1
Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1 (1939) was published by First Funnies, Inc., rather than Timely Comics. The characters of Sub-Mariner and American Ace were later published in Timely Comics, and became canon in the Marvel Universe. Has the other characters and stories from Motion Picture Funnies Wee...

Re: Chronology: Birth of the Avengers to Engagement of Reed & Sue

In Adventures of the X-Men #12, that universe was destro...

Re: Revisiting Asgardian History in light of Marvel Legacy
It is possible that Angela was born and Odin separated Heven from the other Nine Realms during prehistoric times after 1 Million BCE but before the beginning of the Era of the First Ragnarok in 51,845 BCE. This would explain the appearance of cavemen and mammoths. It would also explain why during an...

Re: Revisiting Asgardian History in light of Marvel Legacy
In my Marvel Timeline, I have figured out the ages for a great many characters. In Thor #6-7 (2016), Thor still used the ax Jarnbjorn in the year 896 AD but had not yet earned Mjolnir. In Journey into Mystery #102 (1964), Thor was eighteen when he first wielded Mjolnir. Thus he was no older than 18 ...

Re: random CONAN bits
I may be wrong, but I believe that Red Sonja was never actually depicted battling Kulan Gath during the Hyborian Age. Twice during the modern era yes, both no direct Hyborian appearance other than Marvel Saga #1.

Groo, or a version of him, appeared in Suburban She-Devils #1, battling a parody of COnan during the sinking of Atlantis.

Re: Revisiting Asgardian History in light of Marvel Legacy
For my extensive Marvel Timeline, I have revised my version of the Ragnarok cycles. RAGNAROK CYCLES 1) Each Ragnarok cycle is "2160 years" (Thor #294, 1980) long, based upon an astrological age, a time period in astrologic theology, such as the Age of Aquarius 2) There are at least 25 Ragn...
