Re: Recent X-chronology

Do we need to find a gap somewhere in UX 515-517 to accommodate Messiah War and Necrosha? I think that Messiah War can be pushed back before UX 515 if needed : I notice that X-23 is nowhere to be seen in UX 515-518, which may put those issues in the same time-frame as XFOR3 17-20. As for the Cuckoo...

Re: Recent X-chronology

I'm not entirely convinced yet that XFOR@3 1/2 is a Necrosha tie-in. Sure, Cyclops, Emma, Vanisher, and Domino are seen fighting the Hellions, but the Hellions are focused on fighting the New Mutants in Necrosha. Er, except that in NECROSHA-X #1 the Hellions do fight the Cyclops-Emma-Domino group, ...

Re: Recent X-chronology

Necrosha [...] X-MEN: LEGACY ANNUAL #1 X-MEN: LEGACY #228-230 [...] UNCANNY X-MEN #515-519 Nope, this doesn't work. As mentioned previously, XFOR3 @1/2 is a Necrosha tie-in that happens "weeks" after Magneto gets on the island. It's a major plot point there that Magneto's around, and he's set to fe...

Re: Recent X-chronology

Just as a note : the back-up of this week's X-Force Annual #1 is an Necrosha tie-in, featuring Deadpool of all people. In there, we learn (at the same time as Deadpool, who's not really keeping track) that Magneto has been on the island for "weeks" by the time of the initial attack on Utopia (a cuta...

Coming from Marvel in December

Marvel have seemingly stopped their detestable practice of witholding key solicitation info, so let's try to catch up. For the solicitations at Newsarama : http://www.newsarama.com/comics/090922-marvel-dec-09-solicitations.html If you prefer Comic Book Resources, here you go : http://www.comicbookre...

Re: New Marvels on September 10

The War of Kings one-shot was among a flurry of september books that were announced at a con a few days after the original solicits. Last time I checked, none of them were on the Marvel website (I had to find a copy of Previews to update my own shipping chart).

Re: A flashback panel in Dark Reign: Mr. Negative

I supposed this was a reference to the Lee/Ditko era, when Peter and Betty nearly became a couple. No idea of the actual issue reference, though.

Re: Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited

Astonishing Tales: Dominic Fortune #1-3 I don't remember seeing this one in the Astonishing Tales print series, but I may be mistaken. Dark Reign: Made Men #1-4 There's a one-shot for these coming in late September, I think. Marvel Digital Holiday Special Probably reprinted in the October Holiday S...

Re: Runaways v3 #1-6

JD, I assume that the plot synopsis you wrote for RUN3 6 occurs in the first 19 pages. What happens in that flashback on pages 20-21 with Karolina and Xavin? And what happens on what I assume is the last page, page 22? Basically : - page 13 is Karolina telling Xavin she has no other choice than sur...

Re: August call for analyses

Runaways v3 #1-6 (JD) It's finally done ! Hopefully I'll be done with #7-9 soon. #10, on the other hand, is a cameo-fest, so it will take more time (it's a stand-alone, with guest writers). Future stuff Amazing Spider-Man Family #8 (michaelyuri) Captain America: Theater of War – America the Beautif...

Coming from Marvel in October

Again, I'm quite late with this, since once again Marvel removed a couple of high-profile books from their solicitations, and I had to wait for a copy of Marvel Previews to be sure I hadn't missed anything. So for the incomplete solicitations at Newsarama, as usual : http://www.newsarama.com/comics/...

Re: UX #350 - who wrote it?

I've looked around on Usenet archives, and found this second-hand statement : I actually helped UCX350 out of being even later from what I understand. I wrote the plot quickly (three months after the plot was due) and turned around dialogue fairly quickly. Interestingly, it seems to lead into the op...
