Re: Iron Man's appearance in Werewolf By Night 42-43

In Avengers 152, Iron Man states that he recently fought beside the Werewolf, with an editorial note stating that was in issue 42 of WBN. At the moment, the Iron Man chronology has the order like this, as per the Iron Man Official Index to the Marvel Universe, but i would submit this is an error, a...

Re: the 'NAM!

The 'Nam! series is weird, though, because in the early issues the characters talk about superheroes as if they're fictional. The real explanation is that Marvel changed its mind halfway through about whether or not it's happening in 616.

"It hadn't been time travel. We checked the records, and according to them, Pastor Paul Jeffries never existed".

Re: Generations: The Americas-Sam Wilson: Captain America/Steve Rogers: Captain America v1 #1

Note that the dialogue implies that this is not the past of 616, since there's no evidence of Sam in the history books.

Are we sure those are Neanderthals? Neanderthals only appeared about 350,000 years ago.

And fnord from the supermegamonkey website just pointed out to me that Valerie Cooper also isn't listed as appearing in XF 104 and 105.

Quicksilver in XF 104

In XF 104, Quicksilver makes an appearance that isn't in his chronology. He mentions being unavailable because of an emergency and the footnote refers to A 375, so this should probably take place between A 374 and A 375.

Re: What If…? #7, 19, 23 & v2 #42; SI:I♥NYC /4

About What If 23- the weird thing is that the story establishes that the Crypto-Man's creator was a worshipper of the Dark Gods and the boy Jarella died saving was an illusion. It's not clear if this was the case in 616.

Re: Secret Wars #2-9

NOTE: Black Panther didn’t rewrite the past, he just did something in addition that we didn’t know about earlier. That’s my understanding, anyway. The theory many fans at the time had was that he changed history so that everything bad that happened to Wakanda after New Avengers 1 never happened. Th...

Re: Hulk: Let the Battle Begin placement

Although we do have Marvel Double Shots 1, where Ross seems to be in command, placed after H2 264, since Jen seems to be She-Hulk at the time of this story. OTOH, in that story, Ross only gets involved after Betty calls him and tells him that the villain of the story has kidnapped Bruce and is tryin...

Re: Hulk: Let the Battle Begin placement

The complicating factor is Ross's appearance. He's leading troops against the Hulk. Moonstone triggers a breakdown in Ross in H2 229 and he's not back on active duty again until H2 264. Then H2 269-272 start the plot where Banner gains control of the Hulk. So if we want to place this after H2 239, i...
