Jason Doty wrote:BTS-Maybe he did something to her to cause her to forget her emerging and him (that we haven't seen), It could be anything. I don't recall her acting like she knew him in the Dark X-Men storyarc.
In X-Man 50, Emma clearly remembers her past with the Dark Beast.

Re: Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four v2 #2

Thanks, Michael. I do have FF 274 and page 4 of SM&FF2 2 matches up with the 2-page epilog of FF 274 -- no new content. I suspect the scene in ASM 261 shows the same thing (I don't own ASM 261, but there's no note in the recent Spider-Man index to the effect that it's a duplicate scene). Yes, i...

Re: X-Men Origins: Iceman (and Cyclops!) & how they fit in

Scott spent a year in a coma -- but was it RIGHT AFTER THE FALL, or could it have been DURING his time at the orphanage? It's fairly clear that he wasn't REALLY in a coma- Scott realizes in X-Factor 39 that was Sinister messing with his memories. But yeah, in X-Factor 35, Scott mentions that he was...

Re: X-Men Origins: Iceman & how it fits in

By the way, why is Uncanny Origins #1 (the Cyclops issue) considered non-canon? It looks pretty good to me. It does conflict with the "Cyclops in a coma for a year after the accident" bit, but we could finesse that. After all, in the XFac #39 fb, Cyclops says "I was in a hospital ......

Re: X-Men Origins: Iceman & how it fits in

The counterargument is that Scott thinks that Magneto doesn't recognize him without his mask in UX 148-149. He's surprised when Magneto basically says "Of course I know it's you, Cyclops". Then again, Scott could have just assumed Magneto had a crappy memory.

Re: X-Men Origins: Iceman & how it fits in

the X-Factor flashback takes place as soon as he's brought to the orphanage I just re-read it. Where does it say or imply that? Scott says that he was told that he was in a coma for a year. In UX 138, Scott says "I was in the hospital for over a year, after I was found." These are clearly...

Re: X-Men Origins: Iceman & how it fits in

But the X-Factor flashback takes place as soon as he's brought to the orphanage, while the X-Men Origins flashback takes place years later. There's also the problem that Scott still had his glasses in UX 42 but doesn't have his glasses in the flashback where he meets Xavier and asks "What's happ...

Re: Avengers 16 flashbacks

I'm not sure if we should include the flashback at all- it seems like it's not intended to be representative of new material, but just a depiction of one of the Brotherhood's previous battles and any differences are artistic license. There's a similar flashback in A 234 of the X-Men vs. the Brotherh...

Re: Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four v2 #2

ASM 258 is where Peter first learns the symbiote is alive. The symbiote's escape on page 5 is depicted in FF 274 and ASM 261. Keep in mind that the "meanwhile" captions make it seem like this takes place while MJ and Liz are being held captive by the Hobgoblin and the Rose but these can be...

Re: X-Men Origins: Iceman & how it fits in

Dang it, now I'm starting to think that "Origins: Cyclops" could work too, if I split the "runs away from the orphanage" scene from the "Prof. X gives him his first visor" scene... -Jeph! It still doesn't work- in previous depictions of Scott's origin, Scott runs away ...

Re: Emma Frost and that X-Men flashback...

Whats going to happen when the Rogue ongoing gets indexed and we have to push all her early appearances to prior to UX 64 because of the Sunfire and his Uncle f/b's. The Rogue ongoing is problematic because Blindspot's dialogue makes it sound like Lady Deathstrike killed her father BEFORE Shiro's u...

Jack of Hearts in Alias 28

Currently, we have Jack of Hearts's appearance in Alias 28 in between A3 76 and A 500. How is that possible? In Alias 28, Jack of Hearts helps the other Avengers fight the Purple Man. In A3 76, Jack of Hearts died. In A 500, Crazy Wanda brings him back to life to use as a weapon against the other Av...

Re: X-MEN FANS: What's missing from the recent Index?

Doesn't the explanation of Proteus' recent resurrection on Muir Island in X-Men Legacy 231-233 make Star Trek/X-Men non-canon? Proteus' resurrection is problematic anyway - the HoM world was the MU, just altered (Hawkeye could literally see right through it to the MU beneath in the Pulse HoM issue,...

Re: X-MEN FANS: What's missing from the recent Index?

But the flashback in Cable 33 takes place before New Mutants 87. Xavier wouldn't become Onslaught for quite some time.

Re: X-MEN FANS: What's missing from the recent Index?

Here's the thing about the flashback in Cable 72- it continues from a flashback in C2 33 featuring Post, G.W. Bridge, Cable and the Mandarin. That flashback is listed in Post's, G.W.'s and Cable's chronologies but not in Mandarin's. My guess is that it would take place between IM 268-FB and TOS 50 (...
