Tower of the Elephant was adapted into both Conan the Barbarian #4 and Savage Sword of Conan #24. The adaptation from SSOC 24 may have extra scenes.

Fun Fact: Fenris and Black Rat were parodies of Fafhrd and Gray Mouser, two sword-and-sorcery heroes on the world of Newhon appearing in stories written by American author Fritz Leiber.

The Conan comics strip basically retold existing Marvel strips, different enough so they probably would not be canon.

In June, 1933 in the Marvel Universe, terrorist leader Iron Mask (Sinecuse) attempted to use uranium-238 bombs to devastate the world, but was defeated by Doc Savage, in Doc Savage Magazine #5 (1976). So humans may have had has access to information of atomic technology before the 1940s.
