Re: X-Factor in Iron Man Annual 8

I'm in favor of keeping XF Annual 1 where it is only because at the beginning of issue 8, they are "cleaning up" from the previous battle in issue 7. It's not a direct continuation but having too many issues in between 7 and 8 seems like it would be too much time, at least for me.

X-Factor in Iron Man Annual 8

Currently X-Factor's appearance in Iron Man Annual 8 is placed between X-Factor 4 and X-Factor Annual 1. It should be moved to after X-Factor 7 because Cyclops mentions their "X-Terminator" costumes and the term X-Terminator was first used in X-Factor 7. The only spot it could be moved to ...

Thanos: The Infinity Finale

Did anybody else read this graphic novel? I'm very confused as to when this takes place exactly. It starts three months after Infinity Relativity (Thanos being dead the whole time) but it has elements from pre-Secret Wars and post-Secret Wars leaving no room for Thanos to actually appear in Secret W...

Re: MTU 135, X-Men Vs. Hulk, X&AF2 mini series

Yeah, sorry for bringing up an unrelated topic. As for how my proposed changes affect everything else, I haven't looked into that. I sometimes think about these things and forget about the larger Marvel Universe and how other character's chronologies might be affected. I can check on the Hulk but I ...

Re: MTU 135, X-Men Vs. Hulk, X&AF2 mini series

Which entries? I just want to check from one to another. The big one that comes to mind is the High Evolutionary. His hardcover handbook profile references a Wolverine: First Class story but his later profile in the updated paperback has this story omitted. I don't believe so, but since both the Ma...

Re: MTU 135, X-Men Vs. Hulk, X&AF2 mini series

It's a Universe to Universe crossover. It should be included. Not to mention it is referenced in the handbook entries. The handbooks used to mention X-Men: First Class and Wolverine: First Class but that has been omitted in later updates. Do any X-Men characters in the Star Trek crossover mention t...

Re: MTU 135, X-Men Vs. Hulk, X&AF2 mini series

Why do we need to come up with a rationale for them coming back to the states? We don't see every minute of their lives. There was a week gap and anything could have happened to make them come back. Who knows? We don't need to explain it. I personally feel it's a better fit. Not perfect, but better....

Re: MTU 135, X-Men Vs. Hulk, X&AF2 mini series

I guess I'm just trying to pick the lesser of two evils. Coming up with an explanation for why they went back to the states during the week long gap in 173 (the babysitting thing doesn't have to be the reason) seems to be more plausible than figuring out why Wolverine doesn't remember Lockheed. I'm ...

MTU 135, X-Men Vs. Hulk, X&AF2 mini series

Hello all, I've been reading the Uncanny X-Men Omnibus Vol. 3 (which includes issues 154-175 of Uncanny X-Men plus the Wolverine mini-series) and I've noticed that the chronologies for the X-Men characters is rather messy during this time. Specifically the placements for MTU 135, X-Men Vs. Hulk, and...

Re: Marvel Fanfare Vol. 1 #4

Ok, I gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up but I must say I have been using the MCP as a reading order for the most part and I've enjoyed it. I will continue to use it and make changes based on my personal preferences and if I see something that can't work, I will let you guys know :D

Re: Marvel Fanfare Vol. 1 #4

I must have been mistaken this whole time. I thought the point of a chronology was to figure out the best order to read comics in so that it feels natural and makes sense.

Re: Marvel Fanfare Vol. 1 #4

Right but that doesn't mean a bunch of issues need to be sandwiched in there for no reason. A lot of comics have a bunch of time pass by where nothing is in between. It just doesn't read right to have a break like that. Plus, Angel is involved in M/FAN 1-4 but he is nowhere to be seen in all those i...

Marvel Fanfare Vol. 1 #4

According to the MCP, most of the X-Men members' chronology looks like this: M/FAN 4 (1-19) UX 151 UX 152 MICRO 37 UX 153 M/GN 1 SS@ 6-FB-BTS XU 29/2 M/FAN 4 (20) Having just read most of these issues (except M/GN 1 and the XU story), I see absolutely no reason why Marvel Fanfare is split at the end...

PPTSSSS 1/2

I'm just wondering why the second story from the Peter Parker, Spectacular Spider-Man Super Special isn't placed in the middle of Amazing Spider-Man 400 when they are visiting Aunt May's grave. The story from PPTSSSS is about Peter and Mary Jane visiting Aunt May's grave. Mary Jane says to Peter tha...

Hulk UK

Marvel released the TPB Hulk: From the Marvel UK Vaults and it reprints Smash! 38, Marvel Storybook Annual 1968, Hulk Comic 1-6, 9-20, and 26-28, Incredible Hulk Annual: Authorised Edition 1980, Hulk Annual 1981-1985, and Super Heroes Annual 1991.
Are any of these considered canon?
