Re: Punisher's family's names - where were they revealed?

Just got started, and from what I've seen, the names "Maria" for the wife, "Barbara" (also called "Barb") for the daughter, and "Frankie" for the son are established for the first time in Punisher volume 2 #11 (cover dated Sept 1988). I'll keep looking for the...

Re: Punisher's family's names - where were they revealed?

Perhaps I will dig through my collection this week, searching for this information you seek (that rhymed unintentionally). I think I need to do some rebagging, anyway!

No wonder Rulk was able to punch him, he's blinder than a cosmic Mr Magoo!

Ocean Doot wrote:I've seen it in comics as far back as the 80s, but yeah, it's a myth that it appeared in X-Men #1. I assume it is indeed a corruption of "Return to me, my X-Men."
I wonder which came into prominence first, Silver Surfer's "To me, my board" or Prof's similar line.

Re: June call for analyses

Just to let you know, "Secret Invasion: Home Invasion" TPB came out back in January. So it should be moved to the "completed" pile.

Re: Two Bishops?

This kind of reminds me of some of the rumors about Booster Gold during Infinite Crisis and 52. Pure fanwank, certainly, but intriguing concepts (namely that the Booster who left was the original Booster, the one who came and died was the new future timeline's Booster, and the original was now Super...

Not surprising, considering how MAX treated Microchip's death as something he could've faked (it really, really wasn't), versus DR's outright magical revival.

Re: Heroes Reborn #1/2

Just some page/panel ranges for Bucky, I guess. Page 2-3 (a double page spread) has Bucky leaping through the air in the city saying "hi" for no reason. Page 4-5 (another double page spread) has Rikki, pre-Bucky, looking towards, but not at, us, with her green haired brother just generica...

Re: Heroes Reborn #1/2

The Watcher shows us the HR Earth, focusing on Rikki Barnes, saying she'll soon become Bucky. She's standing around in a street with her brother John Barnes nearby. Sort of future "visions" of her as Bucky, Eagle-symbol Cap, Nick Fury, Red Skull appear. Then a quick shot of Cap and her in ...

Re: Punisher's real name

I'm unsure on the other things, but I know for a fact he kept Castiglione until he went into the military. He only changed it to Castle so he could get around the limits of serving and re-up again. Which could mean Maria would've had to change her married last name...
