Re: Sabretooth's real name

Sabretooth is referred to as Creed in X 5-6. I think that was the first time- I don't have copies of Wolverine 48-49 on hand, so I'm not sure if it was used in those issues. Just for my own curiosity's sake, Michael... I read through X 5 a couple times... was 'Tooth called Creed in that particular ...

Re: The New Mutants in UX #175?

Sorry for the double, but I wanted to weigh in on Dani's codename. The Marvel Wikia lists Dani's first appearance as Mirage as #21. I pulled up #21 and couldn't find any instance of her using the name (incidentally, she was present but in a wheelchair recovering from her injuries after her showdown ...

Re: The New Mutants in UX #175?

Should mention: Dani was referred to as Psyche in M/TU@ 6, which is placed between NM 4-5. I think Dani only went by Spellbinder during the X&M mini. The Unofficial Appendix site makes this note in the entry for the Entity (the big-bad in X&M): In the X-Men/Microverse#1, the alias "Spel...

Re: UX #326 & 329 cover artists - WHO?!

#326's colorist: There's a colorist named Holly Blessen listed on ComicBookDB... unfortunately, her only credit there is coloring on Silver Surfer: Homecoming. Still, could be her.

#329's inker: Could that be "DG?" Dan Green, maybe? He inked Madureira's earlier UXM work.

Re: The New Mutants in UX #175?

Oh, you would be asking about the first X-Men comic I ever bought...

Throw me in the consensus of sticking this between NM 12-13.

Hildegund/Gudrun in T@14/4

Is there some reason that Gudrun's appearance in T@ 14/4 is situated well into the modern era (between T 397 and T@ 17/3, the latter of which follows NM 87)? Pretty much every other character in that story has it placed far back in Thor's pre-JIM 83 period (Thor himself lists his previous appearance...

MASTERS OF EVIL (as in the Heroes Reborn one-shot)

Does anyone have this and, if so, could you let me know if the Counter-Earth Masters of Evil's real names were revealed in that and if they were the same as their 616 counterparts?

Re: Hi! Just a question...

If the Unofficial Handbook of Marvel Comics Creators site is correct, all the Akira Collections were published in 1993. Welcome! :) EDIT: I've got no info as to whether any additional material was in any of them, though. I know the last issue of the original run (#38) has two additional stories by L...

Re: Avengers: The Origin

With the Marvel Universe perpetually held at a span of 12-15 years, such retellings with the timeframe shifted more recent are going to keep happening. It all depends on which suspension of disbelief you want to go with, that the modern-day Marvel Universe's starting point was in the Clinton era ins...

Hawkeye, Cap, and the Whizzer in H2 440

Okay, seeing something of a sequence conflict plus a possible Tigra moment... Hawkeye is seen appearing in H2 440 between A 396-397, which in and of itself is problematic since Hawkeye and the Scarlet Witch's hex ship was shot down in A 396 and they were still there battered and bruised in A 397 and...

SENSM 28 & A3 1-3

Okay, got a sequence conflict with these... Captain America, the Invisible Woman, Iron Man, Edwin Jarvis, Mr. Fantastic, and the Wasp each have SENSM 28 occurring after A3 1-3, however, Spider-Man's chronology has SENSM 28 occurring before A3 1. I don't have SENSM 28... but according to the SpiderFa...

Questions regarding Dargo Ktor (Once & Future Thor)

When was Dargo's last name first revealed, and when was his timeline given the designation of Earth-8710?

I'm presuming the FF Marvel Encyclopedia for the latter, since the Alternate Universes OHOTMU doesn't list it, but I lack any of Dargo's later appearances.

Re: The Eye of Odin's Tale (flashbacks in T 295-300)

Okay, I think I've finally got an idea on how to place this stuff. Had to stretch some things, but I hope it works. Here goes. (Russ, go ahead and jump to the bottom if you need to for the answer to your question. The preceding gets a little wordy, I get to the point at the end.) INDEX SIDEBAR: Aske...
