Re: Recent article about the Sliding Timescale
I have a suspicion that Xavier is a Gulf War veteran now, not Vietnam. But that's irrelevant to the point. I strongly disagree with what that fan Wiki is saying: "its that a 200 year old Magneto relating to a 40 year old Xavier as a friend and equal is an impossibility of character." Impos...

Actually, mentioning the Seeker reminds me. The Inhumans entry in OHOTMU HC5 named the brothers - Seeker III is Kadlec, Seeker IV is Uys.

Re: Two Elizabeth Braddocks?
Thanks for the link, Loki! I see you wrote this article (and related articles), nice work! Thanks. I see that CB 29 -FB is mentioned in both Captain Britain's parents' histories there, but there's no mention of CB 28 -FB. So it looks like we at the MCP (and the wiki Don mentioned) got the issue wro...

Thanks for the link, Loki! I see you wrote this article (and related articles), nice work! ALSO, your article mentions that Captain Britain's father was a member of the Captain Britain Corps. This was recently referenced again in Uncanny X-Force volume 1. And yet, we have no mention at the MCP of B...

Re: ATLANTIS ATTACKS!
The Handbooks established that the mysterious character was Phaeder, an Inhuman. Yay! Which Handbook revealed that? I'm not sure, sorry. Probably the 12-issue "A-Z" series just prior to the hardcovers. Check various versions of the High Evolutionary's profile until you find it? :( FF Ency...

It's Plokta rather than Plotka - I used to make the same mistake. He's named after a British SF fanzine, which in turn is named after the acronym "Press Lots of Keys To Abort."

These continuity concerns were raised with editorial when the Index and Captain America handbooks (with Sidewinder entry) were being worked on. The ruling was that it was canon, that the Serpent Society seen was effectively a dry run for the later one Sidewinder formed, and that Puff Adder was there...

Re: Hulk UK
The Smash! story and Hulk Comic stories are. One of the Annuals isn't (can't recall which off the top of my head) as it includes Jack McGee from the Hulk TV show. The other annual stories could conceivably be, but I don't think any ruling has been made regarding them either way.

Re: First chronological appearance of Peter Parker?
Untold Tales of Spider-Man #-1 I *KNEW* someone was going to bring that up. I KNEW IT ! [...] *goes into the archives to find several conversations about this* I believe the short version is "the MCP doesn't chronologise characters until they're actually born" :) Hmm. Got an awkward one f...

Need some help with the two-page spread of the funeral scene. Who is the character near the top of the page, in the red two-piece, behind Black Panther? Misty Knight, wearing this outfit http://www.netbrawl.com/uploads/fe56eb6db89b23550334592325cac55c.jpg Who are the three characters to the left of...

Re: Winter Soldier 15
Winter Soldier mentions a mission he did for the Soviets in 1977, crushing down a revolt in Croatia. In 1982 he was tasked with the recovery of a defecting Soviet scientist. It is also mentioned that there were SHIELD agents in 1982, thus confirming the SHIELD is supposed to be dating back to the C...

Kyras Shakati, Arak, Arion and Dirac also turn up in X-Men #125 on Chandilar, attending Lilandra's state ball. If it wasn't for the Inhumans mini series that starred Jason of Spartoi, this might be put down to an in-joke, since it would seem they were present there after their demise in Marvel Previ...

If it's Apocalypse who appeared to "a despondent Ahmet Abdol", he's most definitely shapeshifted. But this is AFTER Abdol's already let off his first power blast (which is why he thinks he's mad)! Yes, according to Uncanny 376, Apocalypse approached the Monolith disguised as the Egyptian ...
