Bushwacker chronology

Bushwacker's chronology seems to be out of whack. His appearances in DLOK2 2-5, NOM2 4-5 and DD@ 8 (books from 1991 and 1992) are currently placed after his appearance in EL 5 (a book from 1997). Bushwacker's appearances in NOM2 4-5 actually happen around the same time as DD 307-309 and should be mo...

DD 305-307

In page 1 of DD 305, with an upcoming meeting of underworld bosses in their city to divide the Kingpin’s fallen kingdom of crime, high rollers from Las Vegas get the idea of hiring lawyers to sue for the right to be invited to the table. In page 10, Karen Page mentions to Matt Murdock that Foggy has...

DD 297-303

The FAQ says: Q. My favorite character is Mr. Potato Head. Why isn't he listed? … Characters who appear in more than one title are listed, regardless of their importance... The listing of characters who reveal both their first and last names is basically a judgment call. The questions we ask oursel...

Re: DD 300-FB

By using green and red letters (something I’ve used in the past) instead of the words ‘add’ and ‘delete’ respectively, I was trying to make the issues in question more visually obvious on the listing segment. I find the black bold letters not standing out as easily from the non bold letters, but I g...

DD 300-FB

I’m not quite sure what the procedure is for cases like this where flashback scenes in the same issue are out of sequence. In DD 300 (14:2 - 15)-FB the Kingpin’s goons beat a cab driver to death using Daredevil’s billy club, then place him on the back seat of his taxi cab with an unconscious Matt Mu...

Re: Bullseye discrepancy

While trying to find the best placement for DD 500/3 (and FB) I noticed that DD 380 is supposed to happen out of publication order at some point prior. That’s mentioned to be the case in two spots throughout the issue. First, in the double page spread recap behind the cover, Now, a totally unrelated...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

In Reckoning War Alpha I think that's an art error and that dialogue should be attribuited to Sunfire. Also, in this issue Spider-Man is Peter Parker, and so it has to take place after the Beyond storyline (o, at least, after Black Cat and Captain Americe give back the costume to Peter) and after D...

Re: Spider-Man/Human Torch # 1 (2005)

Not to be dismissive of Captain Good or anybody’s efforts but I just read the issues in the recently proposed order and I can’t say that I agree with it. It feels forced and disruptive of the intended reading flow. A few things strike me as odd from from this topic discussion. Why would the project ...

Re: FF 271 & CONSPIRACY 1 flashbacks

The flashback in FF 271 also has a voice only appearance by the U.S. President, it’s on panel 3 of page 10. Since this is a flashback to shortly before FF 1, published in 1961, one would assume the President in question would be John F. Kennedy. This is what the project has for him: KENNEDY, JOHN FI...

Re: FF 271 & CONSPIRACY 1 flashbacks

Gormuu also appears in a flashback from CONSPIRACY 2. Footage seen on panel 4 of page 10 and panel 3 of page 11 shows him causing destruction amid Central City while planes fire missiles at him. By page 9 of the flashback on FF 271 he is ‘on the outskirt of the city‘ and on page 10 they guess he wil...

FF 271 & CONSPIRACY 1 flashbacks

A little before the origin of the Fantastic Four the MCP has: MR. FANTASTIC/REED RICHARDS ... FF 271 (7:3 - 13)-FB CONSPIRACY 1 (11:2 - 13)-FB FF 271 (14 - 15:3)-FB CONSPIRACY 1 (14)-FB ... On FF 271, panel 2 of page 15 is a flashback inside a flashback, where Reed deduces that while Gormuu is getti...

Re: FNSM 5

Thanks, guys! The Looter shouldn’t have his FB numbered either but I’m sure Russ will catch that when adding the appearance to the listing. Just mentioning it in the spirit of communicating. Page 1 of UTSM 3 is actually a flashback, as it happens “Two hours ago” in relation to the “Now” portion star...

Re: FNSM 5

Question for michel, StrayLamb, Russ or whoever can provide an answer. What’s the criteria for adding page and panel range to flashbacks? I know you do it to differentiate flashbacks when a character has more than one flashback within the same issue, but when a character has only one flashback in an...

Re: FNSM 5

Good to know. I believe I follow those guidelines when I make suggestions, although in this case I was referring to involuntary errors more than anything. It sure looks like it was involuntary when you compare Liz Allan’s chronology with everybody else’s appearing in the issue.
