Re: Classic X-Men 43
There's nothing about the character that suggests Kowalski to me, plus there's an issue where Death proper cycles through various appearances (can't recall where right now) that includes how Death looks in this issue. Alan Davis' Excalibur... late #50s or thereabouts. Yes! Thank you. With the memor...

Plus, why do you think that Starlin's Death is a different entity from Claremont's?

Re: Can Killmonger #1-5 be canon?
The mini takes place before Killmonger’s first appearance in JA2 6 (September 1973). Bullseye is working for the Kingpin. Bullseye was hired to kill the Kingpin in DD 171, but Kingpin made him a better offer in DD 172 (June-July 1981), so that’s… uh oh. Bullseye and Kingpin clearly know, or know of...

Re: Frankenstein & his monster in IIF:GMOD
What about the Frankensteins and monsters that appear in the following? Are any of them the original monster? How should these be in MCP? Marvel Tales #106 Suspense #20 Strange Tales #10 Strange Tales #15 Menace #7 Marvel Tales#106/1 - A film crew making a new Frankenstein movie shoot on location a...

Re: Frankenstein & his monster in IIF:GMOD
In All New Invaders#12, the October 1917 flashback reveals that Freedom's Five, including temporary new member Orson Randall, are planning a mission into German territory to take down Germany's mad scientist Ursula Frankenstein before she can create an army of corpse soldiers. So while Orson could ...

Re: Frankenstein & his monster in IIF:GMOD
Man, the monster gets frozen a lot. Per the U.S. Department of Agriculture, it is safe to thaw and then refreeze meat. :-P In IIF:GMOD /3, “doc” Frankenstein is in the German castle and has been for at least 15 years. We’re in 1932 or 1933, so since at least 1917 or 1918. This Frankenstein is super...

Re: Defenders (2011/vol.4)'s flashbacks
I don't think Thakorr means "exile" the way everyone else does. In SUBC 32, upon hearing that Fen has given birth to a half Atlantean half human son, he wants to kick both her and the infant Namor out of Atlantis. An aide reminds Thakorr that Fen and Namor are the only heirs to his throne...

Re: Frankenstein & his monster in IIF:GMOD
In IIF:GMOD /3, Orson Randall (re-)meets the Frankenstein monster. For Orson, this needs to be shortly before 1933, if not in 1933. Where does it go for the monster? Victor Frankenstein appears here, explicitly after his death; he’s transferred his mind into the body of his “worthless son.” Orson n...

Re: the Punisher teaches YOU self-defence
PWZ 23/2 * has the Punisher telling the audience about his fighting techniques. I know this isn't the only time a story like this has appeared featuring the Punisher; does anyone know of any others like this? Not just fighting techniques, but maybe something about booby trapping a house or somethin...

Re: Defenders (2011/vol.4)'s flashbacks
Namor was born near the end of 1920. So, in 1928-1933 he’s between seven and thirteen years old. FEN …… SAGASUB 2 (4:4 - 4:5)-FB-FB (Namor 1 or 2 yrs old) SUBC 32 (11:7 - 11:9) (Namor’s 10th birthday, so near end of 1930, released from exile) NSUB 20-FB (Namor interacting with other Atlanteans, so ...

Re: Defenders (2011/vol.4)'s flashbacks
here’s how I *think* things should go: IRON FIST VIII/ORSON RANDALL IIF 4 (1 - 3)-FB-BTS IIF 4 (9 - 10:1)-FB (becomes Iron Fist) IIF 2-FB (WWI, 1916) IIF:DQOC-FB (WWI) IIF 4 (10:2 - 10:3)-FB (WWI, near the end?) IIF 14-FB-FB (WWI, surrounded by corpses) IIF 3-FB (1926, opium addict, first meets Ern...

Re: Defenders (2011/vol.4)'s flashbacks
As you say, no one is named in DEF4 6-FB; I suppose it's possible that's not Leonard there but some other ship captain. Fen could still leave Atlantis and have adventures with this group after Namor's birth, just not with Leonard present. That would loosen things up for Wendell, right? Yes, that wo...

Re: Defenders (2011/vol.4)'s flashbacks
Here are some examples of how the DEF4 flashbacks are currently in the MCP: Orson’s , Wendell’s , Captain Nemo’s , Fen’s and Leonard’s . It looks like the MCP has the view that despite the artist differences, that’s Nemo and Farraday in the various appearances despite looking different, and Leonard...

Re: Modred the Mystic and Morgan Le Fay
To help people decide, here's the individuals I was talking about, next to the people I think they might be. Modred? https://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/8/85763/6919512-mordred.jpg vs https://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/0/77/108092-43433-modred-the-mystic.jpg The color scheme isn...
