Re: MAN-THING

That story is from a whole different timeframe. The Omni collects the various Man-Thing solo series that ran from 1972-1975 and 1979-1981. That MCP story is from 1988-89.

Glad you liked the book, though! :)

Re: MAN-THING

I don't think it does. I was involved with putting together the Man-Thing Omnibus, and my layout docs for Savage Tales #1 gave it 11 pages.

Re: Marvel NOW! Calendar

Why would three years of publishing time (mid-2012 to mid-2015) occur over FOUR years of Marvel time?

Thanks. Does anyone know if there's an actual chronology reason for that?

Nightcrawler #1-4 vs Uncanny X-Men #194-202

Nightcrawler #1-4 was published in Sept-Dec 1985. That's the same months as Uncanny X-Men #199-202.

But the MCP has the miniseries occurring between Uncanny X-Men #194-195.

I'm not seeing any specific chronological reason for placing it there. Where did we get this placement?

Re: Uatu and The Unseen

It's not a coincidence -- the Point One story was a prologue to Original Sin. (It's even collected in the Original Sin HC.)

Red Wolf VII & Lobo II-IV problems

I've been reading about Red Wolf VII (Will Talltrees) lately, and I noticed a few hiccups in his chronology. Right now, we've got this for his past: M/CP 15/4-FB {A 80 (8:5 - 16:2)-FB} DD 258-FB A 80 (16:3 - 17:1)-FB And this for his mid-90s adventures: M/CP 15/4 M/SH3 2/6 M/CP 72/4-FB M/CP 72/4 M/C...

Hyperion-712 in EX3 #64-65

In Exiles v3 #64-65, when the evil Hyperion is on the loose in the Crystal Palace, Beak recruits two good Hyperions from alternate realities to defeat him. One of those good Hyperions is the classic Earth-712 version, from the Squadron Supreme. When the Exiles visit Earth-712 in Exiles v3 #77-78, th...

Re: Unbeatable Squirrel Girl v1 #1

Requesting moderator namechange to "Cranky Old Jeph." The later, short time later, ect. is to show a break in scene. I understand that. But why is it important to note that sort of thing here, in the Watch, where the only point of the post is to just list the issue's characters? If an issu...

A short time later

A little later

A short time later

Shortly

Soon
Remind me again why we do this. This is a giant pain in the butt to read through, especially when you're just listing things like "citizens of New York" over and over.

Re: The She-Hulk 12 Retcon (SPOILERS)

Ok, so She-Hulk 12 is out and the twist is that Nightwatch was NEVER a hero- he was a villain that cast a spell to make people think he was a hero. That's not quite the way I interpreted it. It's not saying "Nightwatch was NEVER a hero", it's saying "Nightwatch is a former villain wh...
