Can we interpret the panel showing Beast, Angel, and Gamora as an actual appearance? Carol's thinking about them, and we the readers, see them elsewhere at that moment? That interpretation is...not impossible...but to me it looks more like a symbolic tableau instead of a photo of a "real"...
