The members of the short-lived A 300 Avengers roster (Captain America, the Forgotten One, Invisible Woman, Mr. Fantastic, and Thor) all have their appearances in A 300 bisected by a flashback in A 306, which is a two-panel condensing of the climactic battle between the Avengers and a horde of demons...

I stuck with it till around the mid-20s, I think... was a nice series that was thankfully free of the "dark-and-gritty" quality that embodied a lot of the early 90s books. 'Course, I dropped it and stuck with the likes of X-Men and Ghost Rider, so take that for what you will... ahem...
