Re: MK8 1-14

I don't have the book in front of me; I'm only addressing the policies/philosophies raised in your post. Even if the whole story was only a dream ..., we can consider that his dreamself is an appearance of the character. From the FAQ : 3. Was this really an appearance, as opposed to a dream sequence...

Re: Cyclops (I)

As a matter of fact, I was. And no one would have to convince me that we could make mistakes of omission. We're human. I was also one of the writers of the Thor Index, and after it was published, Chrissy was reading an issue of Journey Into Mystery, and said, "That sure looks like Thund...

Re: Cyclops (I)

The Official Index to the Fantastic Four #1 (1985) states that FF 9 is that particular cyclops' first and only appearance. Marvel Saga #8 (1986) describes the FF character as "a gigantic creature mutated to resemble the one-eyed cyclops from the days of the Greek myths". And, as already n...

Re: Cyclops (I)

We...may be talking about two different things, but let's get back on track. Based on information in Official Index of the Fantastic Four #1, Marvel Saga #8 and Punisher: Official Index to the Marvel Universe , the cyclops who appeared in FF 9 is a different character than the one who appeared in th...

Re: Incredible Hulk 1 and Tales to Astonish 35

Unless he's also speaking on a phone to the Premier, then no. Simply talking to a picture of a character doesn't warrant a BTS appearance. He may say that he's speaking to the Premier, but that just shows his mental instability. He's talking to himself.

What's the nature of the behind-the-scenes appearance. Unless it's something more than what you've described, it doesn't qualify as BTS.

Re: Avengers 4 - Listings to adjust

So to illustrate my understanding of your method, let's say that for a given story, three books are telling about the same story, and the series are called A, B and C. And the cutting of all scenes in that story/arc could go something like this: C 10 (1-4) A 1 (1-11) B 7 (1-2:1) C 10 (5-6) B 7 (2:2...

Re: Avengers 4 - Listings to adjust

I have to disagree on this one. I understand Russ's rule about contiguous panels and all, but I think it refers to a same scene, doesn't it? But it is not exactly the case here. Allow me to break it down for you: I'll leave it to michel to address the bulk of your post; just popping in here. I woul...

Re: Born Again

And we've gone over this already. The only flashback in 230 is the inside flashback to Manolis's murder. I got that. But I think the other characters have caught up with the Kingpin's timeline in those pages. Extracting half a page is odd. When modern cartoonists want to set a sequence apart from t...
