Re: N'astirh
I'm not talking about placing PP 40 after XF 34, just after XF 32. N'astirh's dialogue makes it pretty clear in PP 40 that Carmody contacting him there must take place after Hodge contacts him in XF 32. That's correct (3). I assumed Carmody WAS talking about the events of NM 60. I believe Hodge went...

N'astirh
In N'astirh's listing, PP 40 is placed before XF 32. This is backwards. In XF 32 (Sept 1988) Cameron Hodge has used one of Belasco's old spells he found to contact N'astirh who says to Hodge, "It is... most unusual... for us in Limbo to receive a call from your dimension..." This is the fi...

Re: Boomer Flashback in SWII 5
Speaking of... I was wondering why she isn't listed as "Boom Boom" in her chronology before X-Force # 19 (the issue she changed it to Boomer)?

Re: Boomer Flashback in SWII 5
Really? Skid's mother died in her arms after Skid's abusive dad hit her and she fell and cracked the back of her head on the corner of an end table. It would be totally weird if Boomer's mum died in her arms too. Any mention of, and backstory about Boomer's mum must have happened in the pages of lat...

The Amazing Spider-Man and The New Mutants 1
I was wondering if the free Kmart comic The Amazing Spider-Man and The New Mutants (featuring Skids) Vol. 1, No. 1, 1990 was ever analyzed here? For Skids it is set sometime after Inferno (going by her costume which is similar to the one she got in the X-terminators mini) and sometime before she was...

Re: Adventures in the Marvelous Zone
I used to work in a comic shop. You have no idea how many men come in to sell their collections because their wives/girlfriends demanded it. I'd say that 7% is a tad low.

Re: When has Wolvie been near-fatally injured?
Wolverine was near death when Donald Pierce, Lady Deathstrike & the Reavers attacked him in Australia and nailed him to a cross Uncanny X-Men #251. In fact, his healing factor was so badly damaged during his torture and exposure here that it didn't fully recover until shortly before he took on t...

It does make a difference if the order of (the same) events in PWJ2 17 is different from CHAMP 8...

Re: Marvel Vault: Gambit, Champions
CHAMP 8 The ceremonies occur. Rampage tricked into blowing himself up. The blowing scene is repeated in PWJ2 17 (4:1)-FB, although Rampage is misremembering the event as occurring outdoors instead of indoors. Angel changes his costume. Actually, you've got this the wrong way around. It actually goe...

Re: Marvel Vault: Gambit, Champions
We also have to factor PWJ2 17-FB into this Rampage chronology, and that opens up a gap of at least a few days between pages 10 and 11 (the same break that metaldragon misidentified as pages 16-17 because he counted ad pages) of CHAMP 7. I didn't actually "count" anything. I just went by ...

Re: Marvel Vault: Gambit, Champions
I managed to find a copy of this. There are some problems. It looks like the fight from The Champions #6: Rampage is wearing his jet pack and Angel is wielding Hercules' mace but it can't be the same fight because Ghost Rider wasn't there (and Hercules didn't have a spiked ball-and-chain weapon). Gh...

Re: New Mutant Additions
Since these characters don't effect the plot at all and, as I said, aren't mentioned in dialogue, do they really merit OP or BTS placements here? I agree that it's most likely that in NM 80 Destiny is probably sitting in the helicopter, since it's unlikely Avalanche and Crimson Commando would leave ...

Re: New Mutant Additions
I went over these proposed additions and don't necessarily agree. Why would the rest of Freedom Force have to be off panel or behind the scenes? They have lives of their own outside of their team. NM 80- We see Blob, Mystique & Pyro surrounding Rusty & Skids on Liberty Island. Avalanche &...

Re: Marvel Vault: Gambit, Champions
The Champions fought AIM & MODOK in Iron Man Annual #7 alongside Iron Man. Is this a different encounter? Or is this set during that story?
