Yes, most of that series is set in Galacus/Galan's home universe that preceded 616. However, at the end of #12, there is a flashforward to 616, and the 616 X-Men briefly appear. That appearance should be acknowledged by MCP.

You're missing the appearance of the X-Men in Adventures of the X-Men #12 that overlaps with X-Men #1.

I don't see what the problem would be with listing Tonto. There's a 616 version of the Lone Ranger, so why not Tonto, too?

Re: History of the Marvel Universe

Oh wow, I wonder how much material from the westerns, funny animal comics, 50s anthologies, and Hyborean material will be covered. :D Edit: and if it will include any references to the tie-in comics based upon the Earth-92131 cartoons that the handbooks have established as taking place in the univer...

Re: Ziggy Pig - Silly Seal Comics v2 #1

I just learned that Ziggy Pig and Silly Seal are in a pin-up with Thor in Marvel Fanfare #18, for whatever that's worth, so it's not unprecedented to depict them alongside 616 characters.

 Wow, so should the Timely funny animal stories be considered 616? :D If so, then I would remind y'all that Stan Lee appears in one of the Timely funny animal stories, and so that should be added to his chronology, too: http://www.chronologyproject.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14458 :)
