I may be wrong, but I believe that Red Sonja was never actually depicted battling Kulan Gath during the Hyborian Age. Twice during the modern era yes, both no direct Hyborian appearance other than Marvel Saga #1.

Groo, or a version of him, appeared in Suburban She-Devils #1, battling a parody of COnan during the sinking of Atlantis.
