While indexing the Golden Age DCU books, I found that theft of radium is probably a national epidemic.

Re: *Waves from the other mountaintop*
I won't name names, because sometimes, I have to work with people, but I'm in the unique position of maintaining an obligation to the Project. So, yeah, there are plenty of times that I find myself reading a book, when there are other things I'd rather do, and if not for the Project, I'd never read...

Howdy all! My name's Jim (Doty!) and i'm not a current Marvel reader/collector (but have been in the past, more on that later), but love indexing and chronology-building and Who's Who writing on another website (Unofficial Guide to the DC Universe) and just thought i would just throw out a few rando...

Re: Organizing your collection
I'm not buying new books anymore, and gotten rid of a lot of my floppies, but here's how i had it set up: In an old comic rack (like the kind you would see on the front of a counter in a 7Eleven) I had 16 slots for new books, with the last 24 issues of series that i was collecting. When the number d...

Hulk vs Superman chronology questions
In indexing the book "Incredible Hulk vs Superman" for the Unofficial Guide to the DC Universe, i would like to enter before and after appearances for the characters. Since they are not standard 616 characters, would anyone have an idea where they appear in relation to the regular characte...

Re: Black Widow: Deadly Origin #1-4
The serum that Ivan gives to Natasha is probably a variant of the Super-Soldier serum used by the Grand Director/Captain America that he found in Germany, so a copy may have also gone to East Germany and worked its way back to the USSR.

Yah.... try and do some JSA chronologies sometimes... real time until the Silver age, then sliding timescale... plays havoc with working with the kids.

I've been reading the Marvel Index Series since George O started with the big ones back in the mid/late 70's... even after i quit collecting most, if not all, regularly published Marvel. I'm getting the Hickman FF books and Waid Daredevil now, dipping my toes in, so to speak. Even my DC collecting h...
