Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

Wolverine #42 follows immediately from #41; X-Men Unlimited Infinity Comic #124 follows on from #123; and Dead X-Men #1 is... apparently a bit later than what we've seen in Immortal and probably FotHoX and RotPoX so far (although it DOES include a scene to which there was a flash-forward in Immortal...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

Resurrection of Magneto #1 is sometime after the end of X-Men Red (and Infinity Comic #118-120). X-Men Unlimited Infinity Comic #123 has a footnote that implies that it's taking place during Cyclops' trial, i.e. shortly before Fall of the House of X #1. X-Force #48 has an editorial note saying that ...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

Iron Man #14 and X-Men #30 are linked by the Firestar and Orchis sequence, which repeats in both issues, thus placing the events of X-Men 30 (the dialogue between Tony and Angelica and probably also Tony's work on the High Evolutionary device) before the final sequences of Iron Man 14. They're not ...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

Okay. So. The new Cable #1 is at some point after the Children of the Vault miniseries, and Old Cable springs Young Cable from his imprisonment. Easy-peasy. X-Men #30, though, is a HEADACHE--it seems to directly contradict #28 and 29, in terms of where Kamala, Synch and Talon are when. I'm going to ...

Re: A quick sketch of Eddie Brock's chronology in Venom vol. 5

Hm. I think there may actually be two Bedlams. To clarify a little, one version of the fight in V5 17 (which is narrated by the Eventuality) ends with Bedlam beheading Darkoth--for whom this appearance seems to be just after Excalibur #39!--then seeing a vision of Eddie and Finnegan and heading to t...

Re: A quick sketch of Eddie Brock's chronology in Venom vol. 5

Oh, and also: Thor vol 6 27-28 involve Darkoth, a symbiote spawned from Bedlam, and Meridius (posing for a while as Venom), at some point that appears to be centuries (for him) after Bedlam's encounter with Darkoth in V5 17. And the second story in Free Comic Book Day: Spider-Man/Venom (2021) starts...

A quick sketch of Eddie Brock's chronology in Venom vol. 5

As requested by Leoparis in the King in Black to AXE: Judgment Day thread, here's what I gather to be Eddie Brock's path so far: (EDITED to include Michael's corrections, or at least how I understand them!) V5 1 (4 - 10) -FB and (15 - 19) -FB : Eddie is projecting his consciousness into symbiotes ou...

Re: KING IN BLACK to AXE: JUDGMENT DAY

This is outside of the purview of this thread, but has anyone kept track of the convoluted chronology of the Eddie Brock avatars? It has to be one of the most convoluted time travel narrative along with the latest additions to Kang by Derek and Lanzy. Well THAT sounds EXACTLY like my kind of challe...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

Rise of the Powers of X #1 is... quite a thing. Apparently it is tightly bound up with both Fall of the House of X and X-Men: Forever, in ways that aren't clear yet. In any case, it seems like it's going to involve a lot of alternate timelines. Wolverine #41 includes an editorial note that it (and p...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

This week's Fall of the House of X jumps forward a bit in time (to Cyclops' trial); we'll see if Fall and Rise provide a framework for other X-books that are coming out now. Thanos #2 indicates that it's happening during the general Fall of X period (with Iron Man in his stealth armor). And X-Men Un...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

X-Force #47 opens very shortly after Wolverine #40; then "a week" goes by before the rest of the issue (which includes several "later" captions that could denote a relatively long time). Immortal X-Men #18's six pages' worth of real-time stuff take place... one ocean voyage later...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

I don't see any problem yet re: Cloak & Dagger and Typhoid's appearances in Gang War--the whole Gang War sequence pretty clearly is after the current cluster of X-books. And Peter makes lots of jokes... The X-Men Unlimited 112-117 sequence is after X-Men 26, but there can be a pretty substantial...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

Astonishing Iceman #5, Uncanny Avengers #5 and Uncanny Spider-Man #5 all wrap up those miniseries and all take place just after their respective previous issues. (Uncanny Avengers shares a data page with X-Men #29, weirdly, and has a coda that's some weeks later, but nothing much seems to have happe...

Re: The rolling post-Inferno X-titles thread

Clever thing of the week: Storm's appearance in Immortal Thor #5 leads directly into her grand entrance in the "ten weeks later" piece of X-Men Red #14! (It's also during/shortly after Avengers Inc. #3, fwiw.) X-Men Red #18, meanwhile, concludes that series and picks up just after #17. Dar...
