Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four 1 (2010)
Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four 1 is set in the Silver Age, before Reed and Sue were married. In the story, Peter's already enrolled in ESU and has met Gwen and Harry. Now, here's the problem- Peter has his first day of classes and meets Gwen and Harry in ASM 31. Reed and Sue were married in FF@3....

Re: Scarlet Spider appearances - SMU #12-14, SMTU #3-5
The "Super Special" flipbook stories, where Ben fights the Lizard (or, I should say, *a* Lizard), occur after Ben learns that he's the real Peter. You have them placed RIGHT after that revelation -- between Spec #226 and the "Maximum Clonage" arc -- but Maximum Clonage begins im...

Re: Mephisto Vs. Continuity
The more I think about it, WCA2 22-23 are the key to placing issue 4 relative to the FF's chronology. Jan seems to be chairwoman when she appears in WCA2 17, which means that WCA2 17 must occur prior to Avengers 278. Avengers 278 has to take place prior to Thor 381-382, because Thor's curse has yet ...

Re: FF vs. the X-Men
Is it possible that it takes place between pages of FF 304 or 305? There's a gap of time in FF 305, between pages 17 & 18. And then on page 19, Johnny & "Alicia" are looking at apartments to move into. Putting together all of the above, we roughly have this: FF 299: Four Freedoms ...

Re: Updates
There's still a small problem with the new chronology. We have Iron Man's appearance in Iron Man 214 after his appearance in Thor 375. We have Spider-Woman II's appearance in the first part of PPTSS 125 after her appearance in Iron Man 214. Now here's the problem: the Wrecker's appearance in the fir...

Re: Updates
and may make things easier for She-Hulk to appear as well. What's wrong with She-Hulk? I think that what metaldragon means is that She-Hulk went off into space with Reed. Oh, yeah. Awkward indeed. Col_Fury's behind the scenes calisthenics (X-Factor's getting lost and staying overnight in the tunnel...

Re: Updates
Was there a reason why a possible spot DURING T 375 right after Thor gets the arm brace from Tony Stark (for his appearance WCA@ 1 and A 276-277) was rejected? Since WCA@ 1 has to occur before the Mutant Massacre, and therefore before Thor breaks his arm in T 374, Thor's appearance in WCA@ 1 is not...

Re: Mephisto Vs. Continuity
I don't see much of a gap in issue 4, there could be a break between page 3 and 4, just after Rogue is the only X-Man held by Mephisto, and before the arrival of the Living Tribunal. After the Tribunal leaves, Mephisto immediately takes Rogue to the fallen Thor (that would be between Thor #380 and ...

Re: Updates
So now we ARE assuming that Hank stopped to take a shower and chat with Jan while Artie was still missing? That's just... bizarre. Plus, Reed offered to help the Avengers clear their name while Franklin was still on Snarkworld? We discussed it on this thread and considered the possibility that Thor'...

Re: FF vs. the X-Men
What you say makes sense, but I want to be sure you're not conflating Franklin's precognitive dreams with his astral projection. In FFVX, Reed and Sue definitely know about Franklin's dreams, but do they ever see Franklin in his astral state? (I checked quickly and couldn't see it, but I might have...

Re: FF vs. the X-Men
Again, maybe I'm missing something, but why would Reed and Sue be surprised by Franklin's astral self? Franklin was born with powers, he's had them turned on and off several times before FF 299-301 & FFV.X 1-4, and he'd been hanging out with Power Pack right before these FF issues. But Franklin...

Re: Mantis' chronology after GSA 4
WCA@ 1-FB -- Mantis and Prime Cotati fly into space I don't think the WCA@1 flashback should be added. The context is Jan trying to convince the other Avengers that Mantis isn't the Avenger who betrayed them to Gyrich. Jan says "Mantis became the Celestial Madonna, and I can't picture anybody ...

CA 148 **COH 2 (24-28) DHKF 8/2 Following DHKF 8/2, I have the following, based on Olshebsky’s Marvel Comics Index #9B: BG 1-BTS BG 2 BG 3-BTS The Index says that Warhawk’s “boss is never fully revealed, but is fat, bald, wears rings, and smokes a cogar, and so is probably the Kingpin, ...

Re: Evolutionary War - ASM@ 21 & FF@ 22
I just looked in FF @ 21- the Watcher refers to Speedball encountering the High Evolutionary's agents in ASM @ 22- so FF @ 21 has to take place after ASM @ 22. Even if we ignore the footnote, Robbie had no known encounters with the Evolutionary's agents before ASM @ 22, so there's nothing else the W...
