Note: This issue confirms that this Gilgamesh is meant to be the same character as the Gilgamesh who served in the Avengers with Captain America. However, there is a MAJOR problem with that idea in that the Avengers’ Gilgamesh was definitely one of Earth’s Eternals but this one seems to have been written as if he really was an actual Sumerian god. I have no idea how this inconsistency could be resolved.
