Isn't the scene with the previous Smasher (Vrill-Rokk) the same seen during Grant Morrison's run on X-Men? I can't remember the issues...

Is this where the "New Universe" story arc begins? (Sorry, but I don't think that's a spoiler any more at this point.) I gotta catch up on that.

Issue 122

Indeed, the first two panels on page 1 duplicate panels from New X-Men #122 (specifically, page 1 and page 4, panels 2 and 6). The last three panels on page 1 of A5 5 are new and take place immediately after. Page 2 of that FB in A5 5 picks up some time later.
