Re: ORIGINAL SIN to AXIS

Post by Siabod »

I have some issues about placement of UA #23

Steve is old, which happens in Cap America #21. Zola's invasion of New York happens in #22
In UA #23 Red Skull talks about this invasion, and is yet to happen

Also

In UA #23, Havok comes out of his pod. Wasp talks about this as if it's his first time out since the Kang saga. However, he is already out and about in All New X factor, Quicksilver is reporting to him

Well that period is one big continuity mess, but I think some things can still be rearranged to make more sense.

But first on not really related note:
NO5 20 belongs with the rest of the Original Sin tie-in and not here, it should be NO5 21

First the matter of Havok. I would push All New X-Factor #5-13 earlier. Not only it would make more sense for the series itself (there shouldn't be such a long break between starting team and announcing its existence), but would also resolve Havok problem. #14 also seems to suggest that Pietro's spying is a thing that happened significantly in the past.

I think that Death of Wolverine should be pushed in the latest possible spot. His departure in UA #23 wasn't written as flashback, there is the whole "we need to be quick" aspect of Logan's Legacy, and matter of Deadpool's friends.

Of course there is also a matter of X-23 that Wolverine7320 mentioned (I haven't read Bendis-Men, so I don't know details) which may force Logan Legacy to happen after AXIS. That would force us to ignore Sabretooth's behaviour but would allow for some leeway with them not recovering his body. It would also make Deadpool's chronology make more sense.

I would also suggest to put more space between Nova's and Hawkeye vs Deadpool's Hallowen and AXIS Thanksgiving. The current closeness seems to be due to Nova's ending, but as it is split anyway there really is no reason to keep them so close.

Do we know when this issue take place in regard to Rocket Raccoon vol2? Prior to issue #1?

Yep, it's not listed in the MCP yet, so that's just my personal placement. The 2014 GOTG FCBD isn't listed yet either.

Aged-Cap appears in SH3 7-10, but when he meets Jen she doesn't know he has become old ("Were you really not going to ask me why I'm suddenly ninety years old? I figured I'd let you bring it up."), so I think CA7 25 (14 - 26), the presentation of the Falcon as the new Captain America, which She-Hulk does attend, and which is "one week later" after CA7 25 (1 - 13), should happen after SH3 7-12 (1 -18).

Legendary Star-Lord 1-4
DD6 11-12
NW5 10-12 (Rogers is old, Wilson is Cap, Havok w/Avengers)
UA 23 (Wolverine’s alive) (Rogers is old)
UA 24-FB (Wolverine “leaves” Avengers)
In UA 23, the Red Skull clone asks Ahab "You've spoken with Zola? He is set to begin the cleansing?" and Ahab answers "Tomorrow afternoon. His mutate army is gathered. The Avengers will step into his trap."
So it looks like UA 23 should be moved between CA7 21 and 22.

This is my listing for this period, based on Col_Fury's listing, completed with page-numbered FB.

I've put W&X2 1(19-20)-9, Kid Omega leaving the school, after Kid Omega's appearances still in the school : UX3 21-22, X:NMH and NO5 22. So I've moved NO5 19-22(1-19:2) earlier than just before Axis, and HAWKV.DP 0-4 too because NO5 22 and HAWKV.DP 0 happen at Halloween.

I've put X:NMH between UX3 19-23 (Hijack back in the team, Past-Cyclops has left with Corsair, Magneto in black) and UX3 31 (Tempus leaves the team).

I've separated the Cyclops team's part of UX3 23 from the rest (She-Hulk comes at the school to read Xavier's will) because Past-Angel is there, he then leaves with X-23 at the end of ANX 29 and they come back just when Magik teleports Cyclops and Shadowcat to the school for the will's reading.

W@3 1 is missing in Col_Fury's list. The MCP has it placed for Wolverine between STORM3 2 and UA 23. Jubilee and Shogo also appear.

Hi guys.

Excuse me if I'm mistaken, but I can't find Amazing X-Men issues placed anywhere on this era.

I haven't read them yet (just finished Nightcrawler v4 #1-6 from previous era) and now I was looking to what comes next x-men-wise and it seems to me that the Amazing X-Men v2 issues after #7 (and annual) are still not placed. Can only spot #13 on this era's list.

Again, excuse me if I've missed something

Thanks!

I guess I've read Thor's name in there and automatically dismissed it.

Hello.

I'm currently reaching AXIS in my X-Men complete chronological read, and I've noticed that Uncanny Avengers 23 is separated from Uncanny Avengers 22 by a million books.

Does this makes sense from Rogue's point of view? In UA 23 she wakes from stasis. Implying that between UA 22 and UA23 several weeks have passed where she has been in stasis. Well, since the issues are separated by several stories, some of which include Rogue (several XMv4 issues, the Marvel Knights: XM story, the BotA crossover, XM:NMH story, and probably more) I'm wondering what is the reasoning for such a gap?

I didn't follow Avengers on this period so I suspect the answer comes from there, but I'm asking anyway.

Thank you =)
