Uatu and The Unseen

In the framing sequence of Point One #1 (January, 2012), two men sneak into the Watcher's citadel in the Blue Area of the Moon while he is in one of his fugue states. They download a lot of information and then leave, with one of them commenting that now the Unseen has the tools needed to kill the Watcher.
Two years later, the Original Sin mini-series begins with the discovery that Uatu has been killed on the Moon. The end of Original Sin #8 (October, 2014) revealed that the other Watchers have punished the killer by turning him into a chained silent observer of Earth, forcing him to watch but never interfere, as the Unseen.
Is there meant to be any connection between these two Unseens? I don't believe that the storyline from the Point One framing sequence was ever actually developed any further but I'm not sure.
Or maybe it's just a coincidence. After all, since they are opposites, it just makes sense that someone known as the Watcher would be killed by someone known as the Unseen.
