Cable pals with Colonel Bravo?

I just recently read Youngblood/X-Force #1 and was puzzled by a couple panels. Some of the members of X-Force and Youngblood break into a holding cell on the Image Earth to rescue several people who are being held there, and one of them is Colonel Bravo. When Bravo sees Cable, he shouts out "Cable! Nate! What the heck are you doing here?" Then Cable replies "Saving your sorry butt by the look of things. Been a while, eh, Bravo?" This pretty clearly indicates that Cable and and Colonel Bravo have met before. However, I can't seem to find any info on when they had met. Is this an untold story, or does it appear in some obscure intercompany ashcan comic or an uncredited appearance in an issue of Youngblood? A quick google search doesn't seem to turn up anyone else asking about this, but maybe that's because this crossover story sucks (even though it's 616) and nobody cares about it.
