Year 23
Friday, October 23
WHITE TIGER #3 (1-4)
"He can tell that the new DD is not Matt."

I don't see what you're talking about.
Unless the translator has messed up the dialog, it's in WT 2 (17:1) that Spider-Man clearly talks with DD about him not being Matt.

October 25
WHITE TIGER #3 (10:2)
->WHITE TIGER #3 (10:2-10:3)

October 26
WHITE TIGER #3 (10:1)
->WHITE TIGER #3 (10:4)

October 27
WHITE TIGER #3 (10:1)
->WHITE TIGER #3 (10:5-10:6)

October 30
WHITE TIGER #4 (1-12)
"She witnesses Kenzo Orii being attacked by anti-superhuman terrorists as he arrives at JFK airport."
->"She witnesses Kenzo Orii arriving at JFK airport but is distracted by an attack by anti-superhuman terrorists."

The terrorists don't attack Kenzo Orii. Their target is a family. The father shrinks himself and his family, the mother seems to have some kind of energetic power.

November 6
WHITE TIGER #6 (6-20:2)
"Spidey's hobby as a photographer is not known by Cage, Danny, or Black Widow."

It seems to me that it's only White Tiger that doesn't know. They laugh when she asks him if he knows how to use a camera.

Yr 22 has an identical listing for GK 6 (20-24). One is on Thursday, March 13 and the other is on Sunday, June 1.

The first one matches up w/ Spidey's current chronology listing placing it right after ASM2 54 so I'm guessing the latter is an error.

HOWARD THE DUCK v2 #1 (12:2-23)

15:4 is the day after 15:3.

You could move the first parts of HTD2 1 one day up.

January 29
HTD2 1 (1-6:1)
January 30
HTD2 1 (6:2-12:1)
January 31
HTD2 1 (12:2-15:3)
February 1
HTD2 1 (15:4-23)

Or do you rather move the next issues one day down?

Thanks, Ork. Minor corrections like these are a breath of fresh air compared to what I'm contemplating. I'm withholding final judgments until Secret Invasion is over, but I'm exploring the ramifications of major shuffling from the fall of Year 22 on to accommodate sequences of events we're just now learning in various Secret Invasion flashbacks. I'm seeing how things work with an "organizing spine" going from Enemy of the State to Disassembled to Skullectra and Skullder-Woman to Finale to Secret War to Raft etc. Could the important BTS meeting that forced the X-Men to ditch graduation day in NX 14 have been called by the pre-dissasembled Avengers? Could Jessica Jones' pregnancy get any longer? Fun, fun, fun...

Say what? How the hell do you end up with NX 14 before A 500 under any reasonable ordering of events?!

Easy now, Somebody, easy. I'm trying to determine how reasonable this is, and thinking outside the box in the process. Maybe you can help! Check out this spine, with dates assigned for placement reference:

4/14-4/15
W3 26 ~ NX 13

4/18
NX 14 -- spring graduation, shortly after NX 13; Avengers need X-Men

4/22-4/27
W3 28-W3 31 (1-18) -- end of EotS/WAoS storyline, "close to 11 weeks" before W3 31 (19-22)

4/29
A 500-503 -- Disassembled; no more Avengers, "three months" before A:FINALE

4/30
MA 16-FB (3-16) -- Skrull replaces Elektra

5/29
A4 40 (15-21) -- Veranke meets Skrullectra "a cycle" (month?) after MA 16-FB (3-16), decides to replace Jessica Drew

5/30
GSSW 1 -- Drew refers to Disassembled, "six months" before A4 7 (1-6)

5/31
A4 14-FB (12) and A4 42 (3-7) -- Veranke replaces Jessica

7/3
MA 16-FB (17-18) -- Veranke/Jessica gives Skrullektra assignment to take over Hand

7/9
A:FINALE -- Avengers officially disband "three months" after Disassembled, Pym is going to England in "a month"

7/10
MA 16-FB (19-22) -- News of Avengers disbanding referenced, Skrullektra takes over Hand "one week" after MA 16-FB (17-18)

7/11
W3 31 (19-22) -- Elektra's takeover of Hand noted, "close to 11 weeks" after W3 31 (1-18)

9/1
[BTS] -- Pyms move to England (for new semester) "a month" after A:FINALE and "a month" before MA 15 (1-4)

10/23
MA 15 (1-4) -- Skrull student approaches Pym

10/26
A4 1-3 -- Raft breakout

10/27
MA 15 (6-18) -- News of Raft breakout, Skrull replaces Pym days after MA 15 (1-4)

etc.

Implications of this arrangement could be huge, and it just may not work at all in the larger scheme of things. From the perspective of Secret invasion flashbacks, this seems to work, though. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. :)

Year 24
May 3
AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE #6 (4-5)
should be AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE #6 (4-6)
May 5
AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE #6 (6-22)
should be AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE #6 (7-23)

"If the Frog-Man shown here is the same one captured by Kraven, then this story probably occurs before PWJ2 13."
I didn't see Frog-Man in that issue. Maybe in the next one?

You have SECRET WAR #1/2 on April 15 (yr 22) between ASMv2 #56 & FF #501. This is the Jason Macendale interrogation interview by SHIELD. I can't find any listing for SM: Hobgoblin Lives (where Macendale is killed) on the MCP or your calendar but I assume it is long before this relative placement. So, is this entry supposed to represent the actual interrogation or just a time (much) later on when Fury is accessing the file?

You're right, cweed. I hadn't factored in HOBGOBLIN LIVES, a mini from 1997. SECRET WAR #1/2 must occur before that mini, so I'll need to move SECWAR 1/2 to before Year 20. Interestingly, the interview with Macendale is dated "2003," which is obviously topical.

Thanks.

I pretty much don't even take notice of dates in any comic because they are almost always topical. Unfortunately, as your calendar notes point out, they don't even make sense relative to one another within the context of the story.

Regarding the placement for this scene, SM:HL came out around ASM 419 (right after the clone saga was wrapped up). As if that wasn't far enough to go back, Macendale's last(?) appearance as Jack O-Lantern was prior to ASM 289! I guess Fury was working on the Secret War for a looooooooong time.
