Spiderfan.org places this annual between issues 2 and 3 of ASM, but the reviewer there refers to it as out-of-continuity. I haven't found it here in Spidey's chronology, the Checklist, or the list of non-canon stories. What is the MCP's opinion on this book?
I'm also curious about the Spidey story in S&L 2. I'm looking to bind my set of UTSM along with other continuity implants set in the high school era, so any placement/canon status info on these stories would be greatly appreciated.

When the reviewer refers to it as "out of continuity," I believe they mean that it's not in current continuity, not that it's not canon. I don't see any reason to believe that the story is not canon.Hazanko wrote:Spiderfan.org places this annual between issues 2 and 3 of ASM, but the reviewer there refers to it as out-of-continuity.

PETER PARKER, SPIDER-MAN 2001 takes place on “the first day of summer break," and I believe that fact places it between the spring story in ASM 5 and the summer story in ASM 6.
