Dr. Doom in BFF:RR 1-3

Was Dr. Doom's appearance in Before the Fantastic Four: Reed Richards #1-3 before or after his time spent with the Monks of Doom. In BFF:RR 1-3, he is shown wearing the green robes and armored gloves that he wore after conquering Latveria in Books of Doom, but he is not wearing his metal face plate that he received while with the Monks, which was before he conuered Latveria.
