THOR #600/2

Hey, we're having so much fun with X-MEN VS. HULK #1, let's take on another continuity implant that doesn't quite work -- THOR #600/2.

Sif's presence in this story places it after her introduction in T 336. That automatically places the story after A 36, given existing chronology. At this time, Pietro and Wanda are on a leave of absence from the Avengers. Given that they appear with Cap and Hawkeye in T 600/2, we'll have to push T 600/2 after A 38, the end of the story arc in which the siblings return to the team. They leave again in A 49, which is the last time we see Pietro's green costume, which is shown in T 600/2. A 47 starts a stroyline that culminates in A 49. So, T 600/2 should occur between A 38 and A 47. In T 600/2, Cap remarks that he's glad Thor is on hand to get the team (just the Kooky Quartet) back up to fighting strength. We can presume that Hank and Jan (and possibly Herc and Natasha) are just not around.

That timeframe places T 600/2 sometime between T 140 and 143. The only problem is, Thor's relationship with Sif at this time is nowhere near far enough along for Thor to be talking about spending his life with Sif, as he does in T 600/2. Although attrracted to Sif, Thor still hasn't gotten over the loss of Jane Foster.
