D'Bari and Uncanny X-Men #387

The D'Bari were the race that Dark Phoenix destroyed when she consumed their sun in Uncanny X-Men #135.
Several stories since then have stated that there have been survivors.
Both the Marvel Chronology Project and the Master List say that "Star Hammer", the D'Bari villain from UX #387, is the same alien that turned the Avengers to stone way back in Avengers #4. They also say that his name is Vuk.
Is this connection official? Where was it revealed?
