Which comic FIRST showed the newborn Nightcrawler being thrown over a waterfall? And where is the waterfall located (did they ever get more specific than just "Germany")?

Before XU 4 mentioned the waterfall, Nightcrawler was simply mentioned as having been found as an infant at a roadside shelter in the Bavarian Alps by Margali, with his father dead outside and his mother dying beside him, according to UX@ 4 and OHOTMU:DE 9.
