Medusa in M/GN 1

We have Medusa's appearance in M/GN1 placed in between the flashback in Avengers Annual 12 and Fantastic Four 240. How is that possible? In the flashback in Avengers Annual 12, she's held prisoner by the Enclave. In Fantastic Four 240, she gets free. Did the Enclave give Medusa permission to leave to attend Captain Marvel's funeral? :lol:
