Of course, it's possible that time passed more quickly in Mephisto's realm than it did on Earth.
Thinking back to when I first read the story, when it was published.
I had the feeling that the parts involving Rogue had to involve timetravel in order to work.

But one could put in a break, as i said previously, between p3 and 4. This is probably the only place it can go, since Jean is returned on the last page of issue 3, and the other X-Men on page 2 of issue 4, since they were only in Mephisto's realm because Rogue had absorbed their powers.
Only three weeks on the job and already I live for seeing his forehead turn that shade of pink.

The more I think about it, WCA2 22-23 are the key to placing issue 4 relative to the FF's chronology. Jan seems to be chairwoman when she appears in WCA2 17, which means that WCA2 17 must occur prior to Avengers 278. Avengers 278 has to take place prior to Thor 381-382, because Thor's curse has yet to be lifted. Since WCA2 17-24 are a continuous story, that means that the WCA's appearance in Mephisto Vs. 4 has to take place after WCA2 17-24. So if we can figure out when WCA2 22-23 take place relative to the FF's chronology, we can figure out when issue 4 takes place relative to the FF's chronology.

Four Freedoms Plaza is name-checked in the narration in WCA2 23, so WCA2 17-24 must occur after the dedication in FF 299. Reed, Sue, and Ben appear in WCA2 22-23 but Johnny doesn't. This may be an indication that Johnny's on his honeymoon sometime between FF 300-304.

Now having read the miniseries, I'd say it's the real She-Hulk appearing on the first few pages.

I agree with the above.

Mephisto #1 has to take place between X-Factor #12-13.
Thor #377 is concurrent with X-Factor #15.
Thor #379 is concurrent with X-Factor #17.
Avengers #278-285 takes place between pages of Thor #379.
Mephisto #4 takes place between Thor #380-381.

She-Hulk appears in Mephisto #1 & #4 and Avengers #278-285, and we end up with:

MEPHV. 1
A 278
A 279
A 281
A 282
A 283
A 284
A 285
MEPHV. 4 ~ T 381

Over in the Fantastic Four, we have:

FF 299: Four Freedoms Plaza is named at a ceremony
FF@22/2: Reed & Sue leave the ceremony
FF 300: Johnny marries "Alicia"
FF 301-303: Johnny & "Alicia's" honeymoon, Reed & Sue suprised by Franklin's astral self
WCA2 22-23: FFPlaza is mentioned, Johnny not present
FF 304-305 (1-17): Johnny returns from honeymoon, Thing becomes leader of FF
FFV.X 1-4: Johnny & "Alicia" not living together yet, FFPlaza mentioned, Reed & Sue not surprised by Franklin's astral self
FF 305 (18-22): Johnny & "Alicia" find an apartment

In Mephisto #1, Johnny mentions that "Alicia" is his fiance, placing it before FF 300, and therefor before FF 299.

Of these FF comics, She-Hulk appears in FF 299-300 and FFV.X 1-4. WCA2 22-24 should happen before Avengers #278 because of the Wasp. If WCA2 22-23 take place between FF 303-304, then the order is FF 299-303, WCA2 22-23, Avengers #278. Comparing this to Wolverine's chronology, we see that FFV.X occurs after MEPHV. 4. Putting it together, we end up with this for She-Hulk:

MEPHV. 1
FF 299
FF 300
A 278
A 279
A 281
A 282
A 283
A 284
A 285
MEPHV. 4 ~ T 381
FFV.X 1
FFV.X 2
FFV.X 4

And from there, we can piece together everyone else's chronologies.

The only question left is,
Paul Bourcier wrote:Speaking of Johnny's and Lyjalicia's honeymoon...I see they're BTS in SS3 1. I don't have the issue, but I assume they're name-checked by the FF in that issue. Is it noted specifically that the couple is on their honeymoon?
If SS3 1 has to take place between FF 300-301, then SS3 1 has to be moved to between FF 300 & A 278 for She-Hulk. Currently, it's between XVSA 4 & WCA@ 2 for her, which is after FFV.X 4.

Thoughts?

Mephisto #4 takes place between Thor #380-381.
Actually, Mephisto #1-3 has to take place between X-Factor #12 & 13 because both Marvel Girl & Cyclops appear in #3.

Unless Mephisto manipulated them all while they were asleep and dreamed everything up to the beginning of #4...

Yup. And the break is in issue 4, here:
Peter Fabricius wrote:But one could put in a break, as i said previously, between p3 and 4.
The example above was mainly to illustrate how the Mephisto mini affected She-Hulk, who appears in both issues 1 & 4, and would be most affected by the gap needed in issue 4.

Can anyone answer the Silver Surfer #1(1987 series) question?

Thing tells Silver Surfer that "Johnny & Alicia are on their honeymoon."
